  • High Protein Breakfast Burrito | 57 Grams Protein
    ~ MACROS ~
    Cal: 572 (6 Servings)
    P: 57.5g, C: 26g, F: 28.5g
    ~ INGREDIENTS ~
    - Mission Carb Balance Flour Tortillas
    - 1 lbs. Lean Ground Beef
    - 16 Ounces of low-fat Cottage Cheese
    - 12 large Eggs
    - Low Fat Shredded Cheddar cheese
    - ½ tsp salt
    - ½ tsp Pepper
    - ½ tsp Cumin
    - Hot sauce to taste
    ~ INSTRUCTIONS ~
    - Brown lean beef in pan with spices on medium-high heat
    - Add the cottage cheese until moisture is mostly gone
    - Put meat in a bowl or on a plate to cool and thicken
    - Lightly scramble eggs over medium-high heat until cooked and creamy
    - Put into container to cool
    - Portion out fillings into 6 Ultimate Tortillas and wrap
    - Add fat free cheddar cheese

    Interesting recipe, Jason. My go-to lately has been steaming Jimmy Dean Turkey Crumbles, mushrooms and green pepper and laying them on a "bed" plate covered over with an egg white omelet. It never dawned on me to use lean ground beef. Very creative. High protein for breakfast is indeed important!

      That sounds tasty! Yeah the cottage cheese adds a ton of protein to this one and makes the lean beef rich.

    If it's for breakfast 🍳, why not sausage instead of beef??

      I love sausage in breakfast burritos. Mainly because it pushes the Protein up. Sausage is more fatty than lean beef. That’s the only reason.
