"99 sockets but a 10mm ain't one," love that shirt man!!
Thank you for making this!
You’re welcome and don’t let what happened to my sonic happened to yours. Got a protect her hot little heart ♥️ 🔥
I have had my 2016 Chevy Sonic turbo for 3 months and I noticed it gets very hot. My thermostat housing cracked at the valve but I think the fan motor isn't working properly though. Any suggestions? Please I could use your help.
I did fix the Coolant Valve that was cracked and leaking. I am worried my Coolant Fan isn't working properly. Its either a bad coolant Sensor or a short in the wiring between the relay, fuse box and the Fan motor itself!!!!!
You’re saying “flush”, but it’s honestly better to just drain and refill.
Either or, but a flush will get everything out of the heater, core and junk from the depths of the radiator.
Mine is a 2018 hatchback. Can you Help me plz? The engine gives a lot of heat unlike other cars. It even heats the inside and a/c turns off many times bcuz of engine overheating! Plz help and thanks
Is it leaking coolant?
I had the thermostat housing replaced. It's so surprising that it's a plastic part. You would think it would be made from something stronger. I currently believe I have a short some where causing the cooling fan to not function properly. Have you heard anything about this with anyone else?
I would replace any cracks or anything that hinders your ability for that engine to cool. Quickly.
Some of the fuses in the fuse box under the hood have to do with the fan. My radiator fan wasn't working turning on at one point so I got a couple of new fuses and it came back on! $10 later and my AC worked again! Now my fan is out and I think there's a short somewhere else but it was a nice one time magic trick. Worked for a few months. Talking more about what the issues are we're trying to fix than "other things" would be more helpful 👌
Did you watch the entire video? How did I not address your issues? Thermostat housing is a common problem with these engines. That’s what I was putting out this video. One of many reasons why your car could be overheating. It’s a video I’m not there diagnosing your personal vehicle of course. Not sure what your point is.
@@RussShawTV yes sir I watched the entire video and it wasn't very helpful.
@@williamadcock7618OK but TBT as a professional mechanic and someone has been doing this for 30 years. If you’re subscribed to the channel I’m willing to help. It also helps and inspires me to make more and better contact. But I get it it’s a lot easier to be a critic than a solution finder.
Please nobody take your car to this guy
And why is that?
And why do you feel you know more than my master tech here at the first shop I worked at?
