    For me it would be worse the other way round as a rider of a maxi scooter (ADV350) if they gave me something large like an Africa Twin as a loan bike. I had to an emergency stop yesterday on the way back from my 2 filmed rides and both hands on the brakes was an efficient way to stop (it’s a few years since I’ve ridden a geared bike)

    I see you left the SW Motech tank ring on when you took it in - did that cause them any hassle when changing the air filter? (Oh, and the gubbins beneath the seat is a "drop down" extension to the storage space - can only use when stationary).

    • @Steve-Clark
      @Steve-Clark  2 роки тому

      Didn't realise tank ring had to come off for filter change Alan but you have solved a mystery for me as it was hard to lock tank bag on after service and on closer inspection I used to have a washer under each bolt to pack ring up to ease fixing bag on. These have been removed but when reassembled forgotten to be put back so ring is a smidge lower again, thanks 4 new washers back on and bag easy again.
