Hi Steve, good to see a new video mate. Me and my missus is doing the Lands End to John O'Groats trip from Simon Weirs book. Looking forward to this years videos, cheers

Good to see ya back out and about Steve. Just a point about the Cardo's, one of them can bring your Bluetooth unit into the group via the bridge facility in the cardo. Also with the Cardo's, if one of them gets a phone call, they can bring that phone call into the whole group. Good bit of kit 👍

Hopefully it shows everything you need to know. Ride Safe my friend.
@@Steve-Clark-1200rt thanks Steve I have just this second watched it as I found it looking through your videos, I was in two minds last year whether or not to buy an r1200rt but then I seen the vid why you changed bikes, and it put me off so I went and bought a vfr800, but coming from my last bike( transalp 650) it's not as comfy but still a great bike. I'm thinking of the rt again but once iv done my tour of Germany this summer on the vfr I may decide to keep or change for an r1200rt.
@@rocdouglas people have asked why I got another but to be fair they are the best bike I have EVER ridden and know that the brake problem is isolated on models between 2004-2007. Have a great Germany tour my friend.
How on earth do you all keep your bikes so clean? I'm also stepping up the touring this year, and planning to do end to end with a visit around Sky.
loads of time over winter to clean them fella and end to end sounds good to me mate.
Good to see you're back on the motorbike for the new season 👍 always enjoyed your past videos. So I'm really looking forward to this year's adventures . Have you got the sat nav 5 or 6 ? I've got the 6 and it's my second one ands it playing up .
Hi Gus mine is the nav 6 and touch wood never had a problem with it, hope you get sorted.
No Muz...was it his turn to pay ?
🤣😂🤣 you know him so well Steve ....
What tank bag do you use Steve? And do the bars hit it on full lock?
Cheers
I have 2 tank bags both SW Motech (John's same) we both have the Daypack and I also have the City bag. neither interfere with handlebars even on full lock.
@@Steve-Clark-1200rt cheers Steve
need some editing tips off you please, what program do you use --I have go pro and Drift HD
Hi George I use Sony Vegas Pro 14 for all my editing but while I've been using it versions 15,16,17 and think 18 are now out but I'm used to 14 so stick with it. It edits loads of formats my friend.
@@Steve-Clark-1200rt thanks my vids are just really for me to look back on in years to come
But I’d like em to look good
I’ll have a look at that program

Hi Steve, did you record the ride on the 18th? I saw you going the other way at clumber 👍
No wasn't filming that day Bill hopefully I gave you a nod my friend.
Crikey that’s more than the value of my bike
🤣😂🤣
Hi Steve ,how's it hanging , can I ask why you bought the RT over the GS currently looking for a bike and ride out pardners !
Hi Stuart at my age I prefer total touring comfort with enough power when needed and that's the RT in a nutshell. Ride Safe my friend.
I'm 60 in June Steve lol do you find the pegs too high up ?
@@stuart4024 hi Stuart I don't know if you've seen my review of this bike but no pegs are perfect and it actually feels like BMW built it around my body and frame size. Could not fit me any better happy days.
I get you Steve ,sounds like you've found the perfect bike for you
Did I dream this, weren’t you meant to be riding an Honda NT1100?
Think you may have me mistaken for Paul Griffiths he rides one my friend. 🤣
Oops… and I don’t even subscribe to him 😂
@@AdvancedRider 🤣
Steve what camera do you have on your dash
That would be the Drift Stealth 2 bit old now but have 2 of them as only has an internal battery (lasts 3 hrs) great bit of kit.
@@Steve-Clark-1200rt I have just got a xl pro for my helmet and thinking of putting my old xl on the dash like you have thanks look forward to your vids this year Steve

Mate, singing Gary Glitter songs isn't a good opener by anyone's statdards lol.
Good to be back, probably what Gary's singing since they let him out
Shit forgot it was that sicko who sang that 😳 was just excited to be back DOH.
Haha, thought is must be a mistake, you leader of the pack you!. Lol. Enjoying the vids, just in Scotland with you.
Not been in either of those 2 cafes. Was at Willingham last week, a few more bikes about. The proposed ride outs sound good. Looking forward to the vids.
