No competition really, Steve doesn't have to slum it when he goes in search a sausage and it's accompaniments . You can also tell Steve keeps it real by his clobber, no gifted freebies and dire fashion show as a finale' 😂
Great film Steve. I live just down the road from you in Gunness, near Keadby Bridge and have done for 64 years, Been biking since I was 16 and often go out that way, though have never been to the cafe there. Love seeing all the "local " roads and really enjoy the films. keep it up and we may meet up somewhere!.. Cheers Andy
Just found your channel, I live near some of the places you've visited in the videos I've watched. Recently got a bike after a few years off, so you've given me some ideas of places to visit nearby. Cheers!
Love Wickneby, often go there, it is a little gem, great to sit there in the sun and watch the micro planes taking off and coming in, lots of bikers go there instead of Willy woods now, Cracking video Steve, nice to see all the boys out....🏍🏍🏍🏍🏍🏍🏍🏍
Cheers Bazza think Willy woods is losing its appeal now as not great food and the less said the better about the bogs, Wickenby a lot better place to ride to, ride safe mate.
Good video Steve I enjoy these runs out in the country. I had a bsa bantam 175cc about 60yrs ago !! Fell off it more than I was on it. !!!! Never had another bike !! I enjoy being driven along by you Steve !!!
Hello again Steve nice little video been there in a light aircraft my friend is a pilot, should give it go next time out on the bike cheers mate the fev rider.
Great video again Steve, brought back memories as I got my pilots license at Wickenby some years ago. Had to smile though when one of your colleges said " you would not get me up in one of those planes" and that is coming from someone riding a motorcycle on public roads! :-)
whent to the one at The Royal Air Force Museum Cosford, if your going its £6 parking thats for a bay, so if you get 4 bike on it happy days, free entry, loads to see, good cafe near the railway station just on the corner before you go into the grounds, definitely go and see this one though, thanks for sharing.
Saw something about Wickenby, either last year or year before & completely forgot about it. An earlier comment on bikes going there in preference to Willingham, probably explains why some days Willingham has been much quieter than expected. Will have to give it a try. Nice one.
Didn't know you were from the Lincolnshire area (I'm from Grimsby). Came across your channel when looking at touring in the UK, and stumbled on your Wales tour, which I'm hoping to do my first ever one next year (lake district in the spring, then Wales in the summer). Great videos!
A smart turn out there Steve, Sunday best?😃 I've got a cool cover for my RT one of the best aftermarket items I ever bought. Your arse will thank you in the summer.🍳
Good to see you out again, unusual to see such a big group. We sometimes call by the Touchdown cafe at Wellesbourne which is a very similar set up with light aircraft, always nice watching them lad and take off while having a coffee. There's no way I would go up in the red auto gyro thing! I'm probably over the safe takeoff load anyway!
Ha ha defo no to copter thing Richard, I have a whatsApp group of 10 riders and each weekend I decide where we are going and put a message on group, this particular weekend 8 of the 10 turned up lol. It is the most we have had as normally half or more have commitments. Good ride out and a great place to go, looking forward to the next Picos episode from the pair of you. ride safe my friend.
@@Steve-Clark-1200rt We used to run a similar type facebook group called Bike Tours with Cake, Andy and Sandra who we did the Picos with were founding members.
Hi Steve Brilliant as always nice to see you and the Boys out for a run Just one observation and don't take this the wrong way but in some of the shots of the speedio's they seemed to show that you may have been going faster than the speed limit !!Might be an idea to blank these out in case the boys in blue might challenge you More please asap Cheers
Thanks Gordon we do our utmost to stay within the limits and are not boy racers as we just enjoy touring and a steady ride but will look at that thanks.
With an “Antiques Roadshow Clarky” sporting a “TV mast aerial” and a great bunch of fellow bikers… that was fun to watch guys. Even if the rain follows one of you. 💪
Excellent ride out, it was great to see such a large group and it made the crack even more fun. You're right about having reservations about flying in those motor propelled buckets. I think I'd rather attach a propeller to the front of my ZZR and get my Mrs riding pillion to stretch her arms out to create some downdraft 😂 I've subbed (again!!) as I'm sure I did before only UA-cam likes to rob small channels of any recognition 😕😤
Cheers for watching and taking time to comment Matt , we are playing about with an idea of maybe having a meet up sometime next year, but even if we don't am sure we will bump into each other at sometime. Ride Safe the pair of you.
It's the 'Cool Seat Cover' specifically made for certain models, not cheap but worth every penny says Ady the guy who has one in this video. Hope that helps my friend.
Hi Anthony the seat covers were called "cool covers" Ady said not cheap but he says worth every penny their website is www.coolcovers.co.uk/ but maybe cheaper on Ebay my friend, hope that helps.
hi steve , just looking at your older video october 2022 wickenby airfield cafe. interested on your fellow riders ADY seat comfort spring comfort effect seat cover. can you let me have some info on it please, brand model name who sells them. you seemed keen did you get one yourself. thanks buddy. paul
Hi Paul it's a cool cover and he got it from Nippy Norman's. It's expensive for what it is but Ady recommends big time. Here's a link to the website my friend. www.nippynormans.com/wunderlich/r1300gs/cool-cover-seat-cover-r1300gs-front I have an airhawk seat cushion on mine for my back so no need for cover, hope this helps mate.
