the older I get the more I appreciate Lindsay and Christine ❤ god rest her soul 😢 and his too cause I can only imagine what a decade with her and 2 decades or so with the rest of em did to the 2 sane ones 😂
When the camera finds Stevie for the first time in this video, had to look twice wondering what, if anything, she was wearing! Goodness! Seeing Lindsey playing a Telecaster was strangely cool, too.
I saw one of the shows on this tour in Cedar Falls, Iowa. It was my very first concert. I was only fourteen but totally baked on strawberry mescaline. That's how we rolled back then.
@@angelabaiers5055 Dude, you can just harvest it yourself. I don't recommend the authentic L. Williamsi as it's endangered and extremely slow-growing, but just look for San Pedro cacti/seeds. It's a common landscaping plant, pretty fast growing and easily sourced from almost any large-chain hardware/home furnishing store. So, while it's not technically legal to ingest (though we agree it ought to be in any supposedly free republic), the experience itself is hardly inaccessible to the diligent enthusiast. Just be prepared to get a finger or two pricked in the process.
Thank you for uploading. My FAVORITE version of Second Hand News love. It just have that heavy head bopping beat the current live version lack. This is awesome
Lindsey my goodness! He was gorgeous ❤️ Great performance and I don’t care what they all say. Firing him was the stupidest thing the band have ever done. This is Fleetwood Mac right here!
As a vocalist, Buckingham is absolute rubbish, always has been. Just because he was part of the furniture for so long doesn’t mean he was quality. This is atrocious. Have a listen to Neil Finn doing this vocal and it’s blatantly obvious that he is a far superior singer.
Dios mio...!
(3:48) "Lindsey is one strong man." Stevie was probably trying to be gracious towards her erstwhile lover and continuing collaborator. I guess she meant strong for performing right after a painful operation. Or did she mean strong for surviving a breakup with me and living to write a great song about it??
It's amazing to think that man left the hospital against doctor's orders just to play that show--after having his spine drilled into. You can see him adjusting the bandage at the end. And he went right back to the hospital after this show.
Jeremy Doe He never stops. Even the last time I saw the real Fleetwood Mac in 2014 and 2015 he was still the energy of the band. She made a huge mistake
Isn’t this the night after Lindsey had an epileptic seizure in his hotel room and then had a spinal tap? It’s amazing he can perform at all. Must’ve been why Stevie said what she said about him.
Cocaine is a hell of a drug. There's a reason why it's sometimes called 'marching powder'. In this video, Stevie sounds like she's stoned out of her gourd.
Lindsey in between hospital trips to diagnose his epilepsy. The rest of the band refused to postpone this I read, still treating him badly to this day.
I was at this very show!! I was 17 and it was awesome. I remember being a lil disappointed he'd trimmed up his awesome, floppy curly fro, though. lol. But what a great show and I was so happy to have found this clip from a show I was actually at : )
Even if I was too young back then, but still love it anyway? The studio version of this track is one of my all time favorites. It's one of the first choices I employ as a gold standard for any new system/room/etc.
you know he's in serious pain when he gives his guitar to Christine when walking off.
+ A-Aron That epilepsy diagnosis and treatment was savage on him.
If I had a time machine, this would be one of my stops.
Perfect music from flawed human beings. That Is Fleetwood Mac.
Very well said.
flawed because they don't fit your version of pollyanna?? dope
@@aasche04 more like they're all narcissistic pieces of shit.
I think Christine says" I'm really glad I spent months learning to play this thing" at the beginning
*I spent mooonths learning to play the snare ❤
its not a party until a cow bell shows up
von harvell Best comment ever!
totally agree with u cindy
More cowbell
to watch mick fleetwood play drums live is worth the entrance fee alone.
LOL True. All geeked up on coke.
To see Stevie Nicks is worth the price. Angel
Christine on drums as well!
God, was there ANYTHING musical that woman couldn’t do well?
@@BassPlyr23write music to her own songs?

They all look SO GOOD here wtf
I was there!! I saw so many great shows at the Capitol Center in the 70s. This was definitely one of the tops. Lindsey Buckingham was amazing.
This is my favorite video in existence, please never take it down!
Christine can play anything and make it sound great.
Lindsey brought the Gun Show to town
Heavymetalcorgi Yes!
I guess so...also brought a nice telecaster
beat Bruce to it :)
Lindsey Buckingham = Legend
Lindsey Buckingham = massive arsehole. Guitarist though.
man i love that telecaster
Stephanie - "Lindsey is one strong man!" And she puts her arm around him walking offstage, got that right!
Amazing version of this very underrated FM song.
This concert was on my 1st birthday lol. Awesome
5 months and 6 days old😃

haha!
Legend
Strawberry mescaline? I didn't realize it came in flavors. What ever happened to mescaline? They just need to make all drugs legal
@@angelabaiers5055 I think they cut it with Nestlé's quick. It was a good mild drug for a 14 year old.

Yes it's not really FM without LB. It's a cover band.

Andy Smith Obviously that is your opinion. I love his vocals personally. Neil Finn is completely dull in comparison.
NightBurgers take the time to have a listen to just some of Finn’s body of work and then we’ll chat.
Andy Smith You never know I just might!😊
Wonderful wonderful music!!

Lindsey had unique voice…perfect for the style…and nicks was best compliment
A slight nod to that former Hawthorne High School (Calif.) center fielder Mr Brian Wilson.
Classic tune
i like this upgrade version as well .its a masterpiece

my frist thought when I saw this was that she just lost a bet and had to say it lol
This show occurred after a seizure and subsequent spinal tap to confirm an epilepsy diagnosis.
It's amazing to think that man left the hospital against doctor's orders just to play that show--after having his spine drilled into. You can see him adjusting the bandage at the end. And he went right back to the hospital after this show.
I think she took that moment to say it because she saw he was in excruciating pain and went through an entire show like that.

This is how you make number one songs ! You get a group of ex lovers together and let them take all their anger and feelings out in music!

damn that’s fucked up
Like, what were they going to do w/o him at that time? The band back then couldn't perform w/o him. Lindsey was a professional!
If you weren't there in the 70's then your opinion means nothing!!! I was and this was the best Albulm EVER!!!!!

Saw B'ham AL same year.
Very cool, thank you!!!
Arrogant as hell, but loved his voice ,talent and mesmerizing stage presence
At 2:51 almost looks like Stevie Nicks is bearing it, or is it just wishful thinking?
Yess!
Why did Stevie say that at the end, "Lindsey is one strong man,"?
Lindsey had been hospitalised and had a spinal tap. He travelled and played the gig against doctors advice whilst still in pain.
Stevie Nicks on gear
And Christine, too (though never miked, LOL).
Charlie's good tonight...I mean Christine's good tonight isn't she?
Dave Grohl on acoustic

What’s wrong with Lindsay?
Spinal tap
So much cocaine here
Is this July or August 1978?

Yeah how could you not like Steph Nicks???
Maybe because she ousted Lindsey twice from the band he refused to join without her.
Not a very good quality audio or video.
