I definitely got where Kyle was coming from in this episode. He is the voice of reason. All people have some form of anxiety, but they learn how to deal with it, not shut themselves off from the world. There are people who DO have actual anxiety issues, though. I don't recall it, but I think that was pointed out too. What Kyle was preaching about was about those, like Cartman, who has the normal kind of anxiety and when Cartman fakes stuff to get his way (Tourette's ep comes to mind) you see what happens. Cartman was just exploiting his "anxiety" so he could do what he wanted without consequence. This is why we never saw Kyle get on anyone else, from what I remember.

You can go there to meet your online buddies at the convention while also enjoying the festivities of it even if by yourself. Outside of that, I'd look into finding a therapist to discuss things with to see if you can get down to the root and cause of your anxiety issues if it's definitely the type that affects your day-to-day activities or make it difficult for you to function. But cartman was doing what he always does, using something just so he can do whatever he wants. Everyone has anxiety, not everyone has anxiety disorder. Anxiety is completely normal! You sound like Cartman!
@@VisorByteNo, not everyone has an anxiety disorder. Stop equating normal human emotions with an actual diagnosis.
@@2junieb I'm not. I'm saying anxiety is an emotion present in everyone, and the people who have more intense anxiety are diagnosed with a disorder.
