This is My first arm balance! Such a great arm balance because it gets you to learn other poses and you learn alot about yourself: your trust, your strength, & the pride for yourself 🧘🏻🕉🥰
Got a couple of inches off the ground for a few seconds which is the most I've ever gotten to date, so I'm pretty stoked ♡ Love your explanations and breakdowns. They make it feel very achievable and accessible... You're inspiring ✨🙏✨Namaste
Omg if you say that bakasana was difficult for you, it gives me faith that I will be able to achieve handstand, forearm stand and many more, since bakasana was one of the first asanas I achieved and still can do very easy.🙏🏼☺️
That is absolutely awful that a student broke their nose trying this pose. I recommend building up very slowly and teaching good technique. For falling forward, either use a pillow or bolster or, if you’re strong enough, practice tucking the head and landing in tripod position.
You won't get conditioned to do bakasana (or any arm balance including handstand) with a flat plank. Many schools of yoga practice the same "bent plank" as Kino is doing. There is a maximum protraction of shoulder blades for strengthening, you get used to hollow body form, and activation of bandhas. Plus there's less risk of banana back and wrist pain. yogainternational.com/article/view/plank-form
I really appreciate the breakdown of the poses, it truly helps me understand where my strength should be focused and coming from! Thank you Kino!
Yadilu AGREED! wholeheartedly

I am so happy I discovered you. Loving learning. Thank you.

I've tried this pose many a times,
How do keep your knees intact on your triceps ?
AMAZING! THANK YOU
Very beautiful😃😍👍
Thank you
I kino thanks for your vids!
Can we be friends for this training
I have tried this many times but my knees always ˋslip‘ down my triceps.. Should it be done with short leggins (skin on skin maybe does not slip)?
It takes practice. Try placing your knees just on the outer edges of your arms and squeezing your legs

I have seen students break their nose doing this pose and making the studio liable for a law suit. Is this even wise?

That’s a very bent plank
