My favourite part of this video is it didn't start with an 8 minute intro of "hey you guys so today I'm going to" followed by some story of personal life difficulty and how this pose helped. To the point and efficient!
The best tip you gave that worked for me was Lengthening the spine as soon as the feet leave the ground and looking ahead !! That helped me stay up for the first time ever ! Thanks man
The best tip I discovered myself. Don't put your knees over your biceps, but the tibial anterior region, as you do in the 4 step routine in acroyoga, when you take this tibial region direct to the foot of the base... When you put just the knee it hurts to die ( to me) ua-cam.com/video/khXOp7OuFXc/v-deo.html
Honestly, I've watched A LOT of videos demonstrating the crow pose and non of them worked for me. Yours was just the video I needed. Apparently, it turned out quite easy. Thank you so much for taking the time to benefit us with the tiniest details to reach and learn this pose. You're the best. Thanks again xo.
Soos L thanks! Glad to hear this tutorial helped you getting there. UA-cam is just a small part of what I do, if you’re looking for programs and workouts be sure to check out my website - manflowyoga.com
Oh my god. 3:27 Your video was the first that explained this clearly and easily. It's amazing how helpful that one piece of advice was. I went from only being able to hold the pose for 5 seconds to holding it for 20 seconds easily. Why does this help the pressure on the wrist so much? I noticed the difference immediately.
This WORKS SO WELL. I've always wanted to be able to do yoga poses like this one. And finally someone explained it super clearly and effectively. Thank God for this UA-camr
Awesome hack... Thanks bro... I tried last week and i failed, was not able to do for half sec... But today i i did ur trick and done 1 sec stand... I will practice more on my mind muscle control... Thanks
Nice job!! It's more about practicing the core strength to do it. Body control is important too, but all the body control in the world won't replace the necessary strength :-)
Really helpful tips. Thank you. I particularly found it helpful to learn that core and legs are involved. I stand on two yoga blocks in order to get my knees closer to my armpits.
I was always interested in yoga but always difficult frm where to start after searching for a week...i found this very helpful and good thanks a lot...manflow yoga guru..
I did it!! I’m a really big fan of pushups so decided to try this thinking it would take maybe a week or two to learn but was easier than I thought. I do need to practice to hold it a little longer and balance better but so far I’m falling in love with calisthenics
@@ManFlowYoga made it way easier! Wasn't starting from a squatting position and this really helped a lot! Next step will be extending the arms but I guess I need to lose some weight first ahahah keep up the awesome work!
This video is a game changer. I’ve been working on crow but it never felt right - the back of my arms really hurt, my chest felt crushed. I was never able to balance. After this video I finally saw the full potential of the pose and was able to hold it for a few seconds
Thank you so much, with your great explanation I am able to do a crow pose for the first time (although it is stayed for only seconds) after trying for a long time 😊
Thank you for this video. I've been trying to do this pose for a while now but I've been practicing wrong. Your methods for learning this pose has helped a lot.
after watching this video, I tried the crow pose again. I'm proud to say I got to hold it for more than 30 seconds to my newest record!! The biggest thing that helped me was when you said to look forward instead of looking down. But one question: Are your triceps really supposed to hurt that much from your knees pressing down on it? Is that normal?? Cause they burn so much. Anyway, Thanks, man!
Jaehwa Jeong nice job! And yeah, it’s not super comfortable pressing your knees there. You can play around with it to find a less uncomfortable spot though
Our channel may say "man" and it may have been created with men and their physical needs in mind, but we welcome everyone to utilize it. We're really glad you found this tutorial helpful!
knees are practically on the elbows, the thought they would be near or in the armpits. The elevation of the feet and angle of the body is good though with this particular method.
Blimey, so only about 20 different things to try and bear in mind when doing this at the same time as not falling down and smashing your face. Would be helpful to have maybe 3 top things to try and think about for beginners
Thanks, this was an awesome tutorial! The knees to armpits really helped as well as the bit about keeping your arms under your shoulders. Great video :)
Everyone will get different results Sadiha, so keep it up. With patience and consistency you'll get there. Try practicing this at least 3 times a week and give it a month.

Same here! That and lifting one foot first and then the other. I got it on my first go but couldn’t hold it for long. Will keep practicing from here.

excatly my problem. My Triceps are on fire
This is my current problem, my knees hurt my arms so much. Going to keep working on core and arm strength though.
Best video I've seen. Very clear and thorough instructions!
Wonderful , I just learn very quickly. 😍😍😍
Epic ! Learnt a lot in seconds
Thanks core tips helped and can do it like 2-3 seconds and my hands starts to give in making me fall flat on my face ouch... where did i go wrong?
Just because you fell over doesn't mean you did anything wrong. Quitting now would be wrong. This pose takes time and practice, so keep at it!
I can finally do it! thank you!

Well, this thing though me how unflexible im 😂😂
It's more about upper body and core strength
Anyway to stop it from hurting the skin/muscle on the back of your arms?
Practice. With a stronger core there will be less pressure in the legs and upper arms.
Very clear and concise tutorial. Some preliminary warm up suggestions would be helpful. And man ... your yoga mats need a deep clean!
