Can't help but notice all the negative comments About the video not being good for beginners. How
Come nobody sees the ridicule in wanting to do a handstand when you haven't even done a few hours of yoga? Hand stands should be performed when the time is right and the yogi is fit to do it, when they have worked on their core and arms' strength and they have built their stability. Yoga is about positivity, not about complaining and criticism. With patience and practice, the pose will come in time.

Thank you, Kino! I loved that you mentioned to focus to our tranquil mind instead to be frustrated by our failure. I feel I'm stronger and stronger physically and mentally. The best thing is, after I practice yoga with you, I always feel happiness and joy! Namaste 🙏

The biggest thing I struggle with is my patience and calmness. Frustration gets the better of me as a habit and what you said at the beginning of the practice truly resonated. I'll be doing this daily, for both my physical and spiritual strength exercise 💪🏾

I just completed this practice and it made me feel incredible! I suffer from a lot of neck and shoulder tightness. This practice helped me feel more open and I felt safe while I tried all of the poses. I will definitely continue to practice this arm balance practice. Thank you!!

Thank you so much. Not only I enjoyed the practice, I did tripod egg pose today. Almost a month ago, I practiced those poses in this video with you, and I was not sure how you do. But today, my body naturally did. I really surprised me, but also, it was fun to stay in the pose. The next challenge is jumping back from Kakasana. My journey continues. :)

Love this video! Ive been trying up until 7minutes for a week amd it has helped me gain shoulder strength but above all, its helped me a lot with my wrist strength!! My right wrist has always been really weak and this has helped me alot!! The first day i had to take breaks for my wrist, but 5 days later im able to keep going with no breaks or pain on my wrist! I am hoping to have this move down in a month!

I've been doing classes at my college for beginners and today we tried a hand stand which was cool. I came here and this really helped me strengthen my core and arms! I hope to be able to do these poses by the end of the year! The body is a temple treat it with patience and love 💕

THis was awesome! I am a beginner or maybe slightly more advanced than beginner and I thought it was great! In fact, I teach a stretch & flex class every morning to a hundred or so construction workers and we all did it together. Okay, not "we all" lol. But several of them tried this with me. We didn't do the jump back part though. Just the hand stand. Have a blessed day!

Wow, thank you for this, Kino! I had tried tripod before but never got the hang of it. Practicing it in the context of bakasana and hugging the elbows in made sense to my body and I popped right up this time! What a great way to teach these poses!

This video is a wonderful exhibition of Kino’s athletic ability. That being said beginner should not be part of the title for this video. Movements such as the jump through to Chaturunga is a very advanced move and many times done without proper shoulder integration. As I C-IAYT, a Professional Yoga Therapy Assistant and CPT I end up working with people who have injured themselves from these advanced postures. I would also recommend that while this video is useful for an advanced practitioner that the beginner worked under the guidance of a skilled yoga teacher either one on one or a small group class dedicated to preparation for these arm balances. Namaste

This sequence is great, I did it and will continue to do so for several weeks from now, hours after or before Ashtanga sequence. I realized yesterday, when I tried this video tutorial that i am afraid of success, so until yesterday I was doing Ashtanga primary from 2011., and only primary and nothing more, even when I can go deeper in some asana I stay in preparation, unless my teacher tells me to go deeper. But i am rarely in studio for past two years, alone practice, So yesterday I try to do this yours video, and got that thought that i am afraid of my own success in any field, i learn french, spanish, yoga...college ...give all my effort but when it is time to 'polish' or enjoy in results - i don't. This tutorial opened my eyes a little bit, so again Thank you Kino, you are doing the change in all the good ways.
