Very interesting. I would love to see before and after pics. Between menopause and hypothyroidism I've lost over 80% of my hair. Soul destroying. Docs won't put me on hrt. Are you on hrt Mary? I ask because as far as I know if your estrogen levels are low the hair won't stay no matter what devices you use.
Find another doctor. I went to an endocrinologist; worth every penny. She put me on both oral and patch Premarin. Estriadol is plant based, helps with hot flashes but not osteoporosis nor hair thinning.
I personally do take HRT (I'll take anything I can get!) but I have a friend who isn't on HRT and this device totally helped her hair regrow. I planning on a full hair review video soon that covers all the products (including shampoo, conditioners + microneedling materials, etc.) and devices I've been using and before & after photos.
To be honest, I don't really know the answer to that. I'm sure knowing the cause probably could help you to create a customised plan and my impact the type of products and devices you choose.

Hi, Mary, I just got the LED Comb and really appreciate your video, though I'm a real late comer... . I have a few questions which hopefully you can answer. I don't have oily hair; should I not use Magenta setting? When you are travelling and not using Ordinary's hair growth product, do you still use pulsed light? Many thanks
You can use the magenta setting, no problem! It won't do any damage. As for product, I've been terribly inconsistent with my serums and mostly use it alone. You don't NEED a serum at all...

To be honest, I use a number of different products so I couldn't say exactly. I started with the Calecim Hair System which jump started my hair loss journey. However, I've a friend that uses this device solely and and has seen tremendous results. Results will depend on your own hair growth. I would be giving it minimum 3-6 months anyway.

I've never used high frequency but my understanding is that it increases the blood supply to the follicles (therefore delivering nutrients to the bulbs). The Maysama comb has a lot more technology & functionality - LED light therapy, radio frequency, electrotherapy and electroporation. Hope that helps (and sorry for the delay!)

@@SkinObsessedMary The scalp serum I use is to remove product and sebum buildup. Another option would be a deep moisturizer for dry scalp.

I have a high frequency wand that has the comb for hair and i have this one too .....are both necessary and do different things?
On days you don't do one, do the other. Don't see why you couldn't use both though
