Mary, you saved me 24 minutes. I didn't know we didn't have to wait the 15-20 mins after putting on the serum and 10 mins being optimal. Thank you! Very informative.
I have Omnilux and LightpathLED panel for a few years now. I love both. It’s great to see other manufacturers breaking into the game, competition is good. BTW red light and NIR comes from the sun so if we absolutely required pulsing we’d all be toxic from early childhood! I do get in lab experiments though, and marketing.
I've used both the Omnilux and the Boost masks for years, but I never understood why they don't cover the face, especially given the price point. I even attempted to 'hold' the mask' over my lips for 2-3 minutes, but it added time to the treatment. So I applaud this company for addressing that. This alone sold me.
Thanks Kelly. We responded to what our community wanted. Lip lines are a main concern and LED can help plump lips, so we did feel it was important to offer LED treatment for the lips too. 💚
I have a panel and mask. The panel is great as it covers your neck and chest and the mask is easier to pack when travelling,(although you can get smaller panels there still bulkier than a mask to put in your case).
I'll say whenever you're doing it's working you're looking incredible. But I'm getting more and more sold. The idea of using red light therapy of all forms. Because every beauty influencer I've seen on here. I've seen a dramatic change in their skin from using these products. An a lot of their skin looked pretty. Pray to start with an even if you're skid is great. The LED light panels and mask do make still a huge difference
So glad I found your channel and this review on LED panels! I've been using an LED mask for over 4 months (and not seeing any noticeable changes) ie, forehead lines and marionette lines. I also can't address my neck because it's just the mask and I'm too lazy to add more time after doing my face to then add my neck. These panels seem too good to be true, but I'm ready to give it a try. 😬
I am absolutely obsessed with this panel. I have actually have a lot of masks but this panel is what i use every day. Stick with LED...it will deliver results. It's a long game kind of thing. I did find brightening effects earlier on though. Did you take before photos? I don't generally see differences in the mirror for a long time.
@@SkinObsessedMary thanks, Mary. No, I haven't taken before pictures, but I definitely like the idea of the LED panel being able to address both the face and neck! 😊
Hi Mary, I just bought the panel using your coupon code combined with the 20% discount. It was a good deal. :) Question: Is the light supposed to be warm? I have LED mask from another brand which does not.
How does one use the eye protection pieces on the Prana mask? Please do a quick video on that. I can't figure out an easy way to place them. Thank you so much! 😊
I don't use eye protection on the mask, only the panel. I don't use eye protection with any mask, in fact. Bev, founder of Maysama, recently spoke about research indicating some red light exposure is actually beneficial for eye health. However, it's a MUST with the panel.
Hi again, my new friend! Great video! Love that you did the comparison. I’ve been doing extensive research on so many LED devices. One of the things that’s really important to me is the extended warranty, so I need to check out whether the Prana mask offers the option to purchase it. (each company decides whether to offer it. Omnilux offers it, but Current Body doesn’t.) The fact that this covers the mouth was what sets it above the rest so I just need to determine whether it has the same strength and intensity as the other masks. If so, as long as the warranty is good, that’s probably what I’ll go with. I had been looking at the derma flex flexible panel that’s now I believe over $2500, but only because I live with chronic pain and you can supposedly help with that. But when I look at adding in the extended warranty to the device, which I would definitely want to do given the investment, it got so expensive that it really gave me pause. Also, you really have to have a space in your house to have this set up. I have dogs which means lots of dog here and there really isn’t a place to go where I can lay down and use the flexible mask, or set up the panel. One thing I did want to ask you is if you primarily use the panel, do you use a separate LED device for anti-aging on your eyes (given the goggles cover the eyes). Perhaps the goggles don’t cover the areas where we get eye wrinkles? Trina did a video on The derma flex panel, and I believe it was she or someone else he said there are goggles on Amazon that are smaller and don’t cover the part of your eyes that get wrinkles but if I were to use a panel, I would likely want to purchase one of those LED devices just for my eyes which is just another expense on top of the panel, which just increases the cost. So please let me know Whether you use a separate LED device for eyes. And thank you, as always for being so responsive to comments. I really appreciate the personalized communication with your subscribers.
I too would love the Dermaflex but the cost was too prohibitive. Now I'm on the hunt for the smaller goggles to....I've been wondering the same thing but wearing them anyway. Let me know if you find them! I definitely prefer the panel for daily use because it covers more surface area and I take the mask on the road.
@@SkinObsessedMary I have chronic pain issues, so sitting up to use the panel isn’t going to work, and the bright lights would be too irritating. Someone who uses the flex panel mentioned that they got theirs on the largest online shopping store. I was going to put the name but I’ve been told UA-cam believes that just about everything lately. She didn’t remember which ones they were unfortunately. She did mention to get the metal ones and not the plastic ones. I am very hesitant to try any of these devices because many of them only offer the 30 day thing if the product hasn’t been opened. I don’t trust Omnilux after reading so many bad reviews about them honoring the warranty. Also, it’s really shady that they only warranty a charging device for like six months or some thing short. Their excuse was that they can’t control whether people over charge the devices. I’m like, really? It took me two weeks to finally get someone from the United States to call me back from the company when I wasn’t getting answers from the same representative, that always answered the phone there in the Philippines. So I talked to someone from the US for almost an hour, and we went back-and-forth about what the extended warranty covered. She kept wanting to pass it off on the company who handles the warranty, but I learned through my research that the companies that manage these extended warranties, do nothing more than manage them. And those companies are selected by the manufacturer. The manufacturer also selects what they allowed to be covered in the extended warranty. So they kept trying to pass me off on the extended warranty company who told me they couldn’t provide me with the info I needed until I purchased the device and we went back-and-forth until I realize that I’m not about to give this company money for three red light devices when they can’t even answer simple questions. Living with chronic pain is the only way I would consider purchasing a flexible, red light panel, but I’m also not at all convinced that it will necessarily help with that. There are no guarantees and the best I’ve heard is that Angie from hot and flashy used it when she hurt her back moving furniture but I would be getting it to treat chronic nerve pain, and there’s simply no evidence to show that it would help at that level. I would think with your wonderful reviews and subscribership, you could definitely get the derma flex panel sent to you in PR. I’d be happy to contact them and let them know i’d like to see a video of you reviewing it because I really trust reviews more than a number of other people’s. Fingers crossed! Red light panels are like little black dresses; you can never have too many, right? (I wish that was my problem. I can’t even pick out one!)

Hello Mary, I just got to know you channel, so great, thank you for the information and experience you share. I wonder regarding Gua Sha Supercharged from Maysama. Do you think that the panel or mask sostitute the led Gua Sha? Thank you
In my opinion, the gua sha is a different type of device. That's specifically for massage and has the added benefit of heat and pulse light. However, because it's moving over skin, it doesn't have the constant LED exposure. I definitely use the mask/panel in addition to the gua sha.
I also have the Maysama Prana mask and, though I'm glad I bought it, I think it's terribly uncomfortable. I can't wait to get it off. I guess I have a strangely shaped face. I wish I'd bought the panel 😞
Do you use both the panel and the mask on the same day? Or do you alternate them? Or certain days you wear the mask, and other days you use the panel? Will it be overdoing if we use both the panel and the mask on the same day?
Oh you'd only use 1 - you can definitely overdo it, so stick with the recommended timeline (I use the pulse light 6 minutes per day). You don't need to get both - just get the one you'll use the most. I personally use the mask for travel and the panel for daily use.
I see the Urchin as microcurrent, even though it does contain pulse LED. There isn't enough constant contact with the skin to get the full benefits. I'd absolutely add a panel or mask if it's within your means.
Thanks for the reviews on the two types. Would you still recommend the Qure Mask, or are the Maysama products superior to Qure ? With the Maysama panel, is the area around eyes untreated with using goggles ? Thanks !
I love the Qure mask when I'm really tight on time and need to fit in a session. It's the quickest I've seen at only 3 minutes. I prefer the panel because I can treat multiple areas at the same time and Maysama's panel because of the pulse light. If you have the Qure mask, you're all set!
I would like to know that too if you’re covering your eyes with the goggles when using the panel, does that mean you’re not getting the benefits of the LED for around the eye area?
Hi, your video was very helpful but I am planning on buying the panel but now I’m wondering if I should get the mask for travel because we do go out of the country at least twice a year. My only concern with the mask is if the red light is really intense Around the eyes because I’ve tried other masks and the red light is just so bright even with my eyes closed so I’m just wondering how you are even able to keep your eyes open with the mask on and be able to function so is it possible, however to wear the goggles with the mask. Anyway, I look forward to hearing your thoughts.
I personally don't find it to be intense at all. I don't use goggles with the mast and have seen no negative impacts from it. As for which to buy....personally, I'd go for the 1 you'll use the most. I personally use the panel 85% of the time. That means I'd buy the panel. I do tend to travel a fair amount, which is why I take the mask but if I could only buy 1, it would still be the panel. You just get more bang for your buck!
It helps with building collagen, which can have a positive impact. However...in my opinion radio frequency is better at combatting sagging skin. BUT, I'd always buy an LED mask/panel first!
