What blows my mind is that people on twitter had the audacity to defend her and be like "She only looked for a split second" or "It was the dog's fault for running out in front of the road". Christ I hate people.
"She only looked for a split second" is the type of people I hope get their cars wrapped around a pole so they wake up and realise what a "split second" does.
The worst part is, as soon as someone in the chat pointed out to her that she hit a dog because of continious reading, she started arguing that the dog owners are the bad guys here because they dont look after their pets like wtf.
"the dog owners are the bad guys here, they should keep their dogs in the yard incase some idiot streamer comes blasting down the street and runs their dog over. I'm doing them a service here. Really"
You would just know that theres at least one person there that will for sure take everything into account, and seriously. Fighting for justice no matter what.
The jury is *only* supposed to evaluate whether the evidence for the alleged crime is sufficient. Disliking the crime shouldn't lead to jurors thinking that it's more likely that it was actually committed by the accused.
As a polish person it's really normalized for people living in villages let dogs run around without a leash and it annoys me so much. My mom used to let my dog run around without guarding him and he got hit by a car. The person who ran him over admitted that they were texting while driving. Situations like this make me sooo mad just pay attention to the road
Why is that a normal thing to do? Not defending her in any capacity (not that I could defend human garbage like this), but letting your dog roam free without a leash or at least a fence is kinda dumb.
i rememebr we were on our way to look at houses then we saw a random dog in the middle of the road liek there was it’s house in the other side but we just stopped because it’s the smallest inconvenience to us, like bro sorry that your impatient and want dogs to instantly move. but it was weird to me to just see the dog chill with cars, liek it just circled are car and sniffed it then left
She says 'Jesus, there are a lot of dogs' right before going back to her phone and running one over. She KNEW there were lots of dogs on the road, but her narcissism took over. She's the MVP, and her phone had vital information on it that had to be read right there and then, for the sake of humanity.
what she did was despicable, but what infiuriates me more is the owners of dogs in rural and countryside poland that don't care about them at all, they let them run on the road, and if one dies well nothing lost, let's dig a hole and forget about him (example being my neighbour)
God that's just so gross, I would literally be sobbing my eyes out if I hurt an animal life that. Her carrying on like it was nothing is just... Really disturbing

I like Charlie a lot. But getting angry and rocking in your chair over a dead dog in another country is pretty childish there is no need for anger. Edit : I love how you guys are so triggered it's so funny🤣🤣
That’s why looking at the phone while driving is illegal. Weirdly enough having big screens and no buttons is becoming more common (Looking at Tesla and many other cars) So even turning on the AC you have to look off the road. Instead of having a button or dial that you can use instinctively without taking your eyes of the road.
The dog is ALIVE! The owners posted an update saying that he's alive and recovering, I don't feel like a twitch ban is enough, she needs to get charged for being a danger.
Imagine losing your dog to someone like that, my heart goes out to the poor animal’s owner. That poor dog didn’t deserve the fate that the irresponsible twitch streamer gave it. Edit: Allegedly the dog made it out alive, thank goodness.
My friend and I almost got hit the same way, we were walking on the sidewalk, and the guy lost control of his car, and was one foot off from completely running us over. He then launched off the curb into a junction box. Unfortunately, he had a small child in his car. After calling the police and giving them all the information; We were called two weeks later by the detective asking if we'd be willing to appear in court as he was drunk driving and streaming at the same time. I hate humanity.
@Honey Bunny Quin and unfortunately it's left me with a severe case of anxiety walking on sidewalks with cars coming from by the backside. I can't do it anymore, I have to cross the road just so I can make sure I see vehicles coming.
@@JxzzCat In all honesty I feel pedestrians walking toward oncoming traffic not with it should be the law / standard. You have almost no chance to evade if someone fucks up and drives over the curb. Let me clear some stuff up, I'm not trying to defend the streamer. 1. The dog survived and is going to make full recovery because she ran over the paw. The streamer also contacted the owners straightaway and offered to pay for the medical bills of the dog. 2. The neighbours said the owners keep letting the dogs run on the street and don't care about them. 3. The situation is still awful but it's common here in Poland for small villages to have dogs running around on the streets and accidents due to them are also pretty common.
It's like that in a lot of places in the US and it's annoying. I don't like going to my grandma's house because her idiot neighbors let their chihuahuas run loose. I've almost ran over them multiple times because they are small and stupid to the point of seemingly suicidal. It's like they try to run under my wheels and the trash owners don't speak English so saying anything to them is pointless
Another major point: whenever I’m in the car, I see about 1/3 of every driver is on their phone. There is definitely a lot of hypocrites in this comment thread who are lucky enough to have not hit a dog yet.
Yeah i agree with this, not defending the streamer either cause it's still awful but i ride a motorcycle and dogs on my neighborhood are always outside and try to run at me while im driving and i definitely dont want any of them getting caught up on my wheels or crash to avoid them, owners should definitely take better care of their dogs too
More context: - in this clip Charlie showed, she literally says that there are MANY dogs there, - she left the car to contact the owner, - owner wasn't home, so she got a phone number from the neighbors (who also complained about the dogs roaming outside all the time), - she didn't approach the dog (it escaped), - she continued the stream, - she was complaining that the dogs shouldn't be outside on the road and that it's against the law (yes, they shouldn't, but it's a common thing for rural areas in Poland), - she claimed to drive well, and that the top speed was only about 20kmph (12mph), - she tried putting all the blame on the owners during that stream and right after in her Discord, - when meeting the owners, she apologized and promised to cover any treatment costs (owners declined, stating the dog is probably fine (!!), and only has some problems with his paw), - her mods tried to hide the accident to avoid a Twitch ban by removing clips, and banning any mention of it in her chat/Discord, - during the clip, one of her mods was laughing in the chat, alongside some other chatters (e.g., saying to show the doggo, saying to reverse and repeat, and spamming xd), - in Poland, the fine for using a phone while driving is about $100, - some animal welfare organizations are taking steps to sue her for animal abuse (which will most likely fail, because she technically tried to contact the owner), - later (after the ban), she wrote that she felt remorseful, even if the stream didn't show that, because she was really emotional, and that she had learned her lesson about driving and texting, that people make mistakes, etc. - all in all, we hate her guts in Poland too, but we recognize it wasn't 100% evil behavior (e.g., some people would just escape). Personally, I don't feel bad for either the streamer or the owners; only the poor dog.
I'm 100% certain that she never mentioned the dog owner how she really hit the dog. I'm sure he/she wouldn't be ok contacting her that the dog was ok in that case.
This might be The first time I've seen Charlie get genuinely angry. Majority of the time he stays rather calm, but you can just feel the anger emanating off of him
Oh I personally remember a clip from Charlie back then the pandemic containment stuff began and there was a clip showing how a big dude (a customer) was aggressively threatening a young female worker of a shop, that dared to follow up the new rules and tried reminding him to put a mask on. I do not remember Charlie being more angry than that time!
He gets mad at stuff all the time. Whenever he covers drama, which happens a lot, he seems mad about something 70% of the time. Also, he argues with his twitch chat from time to time, and that seems to get him irritated as well
I lost my dog to a driver who wasn’t paying attention. Hate to add to this, but I lost my childhood dog the same way. Dude claimed he was worried about hitting me but had clearly been texting. That’s actually heartbreaking. My uncle recently lost their dog to a car accident and it hurts to lose a pet in that way. Awful, just awful that someone would care more about streaming.
In Poland there are little dogs everywhere. They usually linger around peoples property, since most homes are a few feet from the road, and sometimes they run across the road. But they are easily seen in advance when paying attention to the road. This could easily been a small child playing by the property though.
As an animal trainer, i have a varying opinion on these matters compared to others. It’s always tragic when a persons dog gets hit by a car. But what’s more tragic to me, is that the OWNER of the dog didn’t 1. Have them on a leash 2. Have control of the leash and dog 3. Be aware of the surroundings, don’t let your dog loose near a road maybe? 4. If you know you live close to a road, go outside with your dog, with a leash. I just don’t understand how people even let their dogs out unnatended. That’s the OWNERS fault, everyone knows humans are RETARDED and do not pay attention to the road.
I had the conversation with my son the other day about how the road is not for us individually. It is our responsibility to share it safely and respectfully with everyone using it. Unfortunately many people see it as existing for them alone and everyone else as obstacles in the way of them getting where they are going.
Thank you for always bringing attention to things like this Charlie, I lost my father to a drunk driver when I was 10, and even bringing it up with your reach is something I'm thankful for.

When I was 14 me and my buddies were playing cards at the porch when a car drove by and all of a sudden we heard this loud, terrifying screeching. It was such a uniquely bizarre sound that it took me about 5 seconds to figure out that this was the agonizing, gut-wrenching howl of a stray dog that just got ran over. I was fortunate enough to not witness the scene with my eyes, but boy, let me tell ya, the sound of that poor dog's screams still haunt me to this day, to the point where whenever I take my dog out in a walk, I act like a paranoid schizophrenic, checking my surroundings every 2 seconds. I also refuse to cross a street without carrying him in my arms. That shit fucked me up real good. So... Yeah, fuck this girl.
But fr, though, I'm sorry you had to see that. I personally watched a dog jump out of someone's car on the highway and almost immediately getting hit by a semi truck.
My mom accidentally ran over our dog's hind legs after checking the mail one day. She didn't know he had moved to stand between the curb and the back tire of her car. Our dog was okay, miraculously nothing was broken, the vet was amazed by that as well. After that day though, our dog never went near cars unless he was getting inside one for a road trip/vet trip. Unfortunately he has passed away since then, as that was 2006 or 2007. He passed away between 2010 and 2012. I can't remember the exact year because it's been 10+ years. I do miss him though.

@@Person01234 obviously???
Thanks for this comment. She still sucks but this definitely clear things up a bit

More context:
- in this clip Charlie showed, she literally says that there are MANY dogs there,
- she left the car to contact the owner,
- owner wasn't home, so she got a phone number from the neighbors (who also complained about the dogs roaming outside all the time),
- she didn't approach the dog (it escaped),
- she continued the stream,
- she was complaining that the dogs shouldn't be outside on the road and that it's against the law (yes, they shouldn't, but it's a common thing for rural areas in Poland),
- she claimed to drive well, and that the top speed was only about 20kmph (12mph),
- she tried putting all the blame on the owners during that stream and right after in her Discord,
- when meeting the owners, she apologized and promised to cover any treatment costs (owners declined, stating the dog is probably fine (!!), and only has some problems with his paw),
- her mods tried to hide the accident to avoid a Twitch ban by removing clips, and banning any mention of it in her chat/Discord,
- during the clip, one of her mods was laughing in the chat, alongside some other chatters (e.g., saying to show the doggo, saying to reverse and repeat, and spamming xd),
- in Poland, the fine for using a phone while driving is about $100,
- some animal welfare organizations are taking steps to sue her for animal abuse (which will most likely fail, because she technically tried to contact the owner),
- later (after the ban), she wrote that she felt remorseful, even if the stream didn't show that, because she was really emotional, and that she had learned her lesson about driving and texting, that people make mistakes, etc.
- all in all, we hate her guts in Poland too, but we recognize it wasn't 100% evil behavior (e.g., some people would just escape).
Personally, I don't feel bad for either the streamer or the owners; only the poor dog.

Edit: As far as streamers are concerned: They are all human trash. Touch grass, consoomer.
@Puts Your argument is generally correct, but you missed a vital part:
>"there's a lot of dogs around here"
>looks down
>crash
We can't say for certain if the owner was also to blame for negligence because they're not shown in the clip, but what we can say for certain is that the driver (whos name I'm not even going to bother learning because she's going to become irrelevant to me in thirty minutes) acknowledges that there are a lot of people and animals in the immediate area, and still chooses to look away from the road. Had she not done that, it's entirely plausible that if she were driving at reasonable speeds, she could have stopped in time.
@@revisit8480 you definitely frequent r/atheism
@@sympleton7439 I feel like a lot of people overlook the fact that... it could have been a kid? We're very "lucky" it was a dog because parents don't use leashes on their kids either and all it take is one moment of inattention.
And like you said, if she had been looking at the road she could have indeed stopped in time
They are. There are no careers anymore and every economy is collapsing. We are about to go to global war.
It's horrifying to imagine what chaos happened after hearing the "bump" in the clip. Must be brutal to be the dogs owners knowing that they could've done almost nothing to stop this from happening
i watched it, i shouldn’t have. killed my vibe
I mean, they could have kept the dog out of the road. It doesn't lessen the guilt of the driver, but you can't say "There was nothing we could do to prevent this".
It was extremely preventable from their end also.
tbf....Not to give the driver much to any credit, owner should've kept a better hold of the dog. Especially with a driver from hell rolling through
@@moimoiyoop Thus why i said "almost" nothing. Of course keeping the dog inside would've been one of the clearest options to prevent it, next to the driver not being an idiot.
what makes it even worse for the dog is that she didn't even have the decency to put it out of its misery afterwards.
this should count as a DUI
the worst part is, the distracted/under the influence driver is usually the one that gets away the least harmed
this really impacted me, because my pet cat that ive lived with for 11 years was ran over 2 weeks ago, i had to walk home from school and see my cat dead on the sidewalk. thinking some person like this had done it.
I dread this so much, it's my biggest nightmare, I don't know what I would do.. maybe go to cry in the park the entire night
I'm so sorry you had to go through that.
I'm really, really sorry. I know I'm just someone on the internet. But I hope your happy memories are some consolation. You gave the kitty a happy life. I'm so sorry you lost your friend.
So sorry to hear that man RIP to your cat
Rest in peace cat. 🙏🏽
4:31 Plottwist; The guy in chat he was arguing with, drove the semi truck
That poor dog didn’t deserve that. My condolences go out to the owner and dog itself.
The poor dog must have suffered a lot
Charlie as a person who works at a doggie daycare and owns 2 dogs this makes me so mad, but I appreciate you so much for bringing this news to people in a way that isn’t too hard to take, love your channel.

Me: *accidentally steps on random dog’s paw and feels like crap*
This woman: *mows over dog and doesn’t bat an eye bc she had a moment of virtual attention*
She did not ran the dog over. She hurt its paw only
@@MystificationSwarp still. I think a paw wouldn’t make such a big impact and sound.
@@Revulsion360 bro, if your foot was run over by a car, you would scream that loud too
@@MystificationSwarp i would, but now i was talking about how loud of a thud it was. Sounded like she ran the whole dog over, plus how the car had the impact. That must have been a huge paw, if it sounded like you drove at a rock at full speed
@@Revulsion360 it was proven that the dog is alive so she did not ran him over
She probably was like "oh must have been a speed bump"
She was driving in a neighborhood when she hit the dog going slow. It baffles me that it could’ve been a a kid that instead.
@@alejandrocorona817 Either way horrible tragedy that could have been easily avoidable.
Being hit by a car in the middle of an argument automatically invalidates your side by default
I glanced at my phone for a second to hang up a call and when I looked up there was a dead deer on the highway. I was truly lucky for being so lucky it wasn't someone or something alive and it was a huge wake up call for me. 1 second of distraction could ruin a life
