The frozen udon blocks have better texture and flavor, last longer, and only take 2-3 minutes to cook in boiling water. I believe they're a bit cheaper too. Highly recommend over the room temp, precooked versions.

Frozen Udon is much harder to find in Germany. The frozen stuff comes in pretty large quantities, for which I´m lacking freezer space.

@@ditz3nfitness Yea most Asian grocery stores have them. They come in packages of 4 - 5 blocks.

@@surenick3460 Not in germany, i've been to 50+ Asian stores in my life and never have i seen frozen udon blocks. And i dilligently look through the frozen section because i only go to these stores when i have plenty of room.

    Nice.
I wonder if it would be possible to get a decent tasting result by using low fat/ fat free sour cream and/or Greek yogurt instead of light mayo?

Peanut butter has a very low score on the DIAAS scale meaning that the protein in it is poorly by the body. It is advised not to be calculated in the protein count but used as a healthy fat instead.
    Beautiful recipe. Thank you.
