    My husband can't have dairy, so this would be nice to make for him.
    I've never seen so many negative comments in a cooking video. It’s a dessert, people; use your brain.

      Can your husband have egg? You can do a lot with meringues (egg whites and sugar). I think it's a Swiss meringue that stays soft and fluffy (while a French meringue hardens? It's been a while). It takes a bit of practice, but it's fun to make meringue and it tends to be a crowd pleaser. Plus you can adjust the sugar ratio to accommodate how sweet people want it.

    Unique recipe.
    Putting the whipped honey in a piping bag would make layering easy.

      Ehh no it is not.. no eggs no mascarpone (and mascarpone is not cream cheese) no strong coffee, looks like instant coffee, and no coffee liqueur.. what is wow about this? Lots of missing ingrediants.. get an authentic tiramisu, you will never call the one in this video a tiramisu. Trust me it is worth is!

    What does unflavored honey means? The only honey I had in my house is the original honey straight from the bee house. 😂 Can I use that?

    • @alrimasujan
      @alrimasujan 3 дні тому +6

      They means original honey only. Now a days there are tons of flavoured honey like honey soaked ginger ,honey soaked moringa/drumstick tree leaves honey. That's why she said like that 😅

      @Yzabelle-f2w 3 дні тому

      @alrimasujan I see! I totally agree with you because last month I tried to make this and unfortunately the bee did not produce that much honey so I didn't take it and used honey from the market instead. I can say that it does not taste good lol 🤣

    Hello, I love whipped coffee so this will be another fluffy fun creation. Everyone thinks this is a lot of honey but you did not use the whole batched made from 1/4 C of honey in that coffee cup.
    How much would you say you actually used? So I can figure how many delicious cups of desert I can make from only 1/4 cup of honey.
    I think I will try whip coffee then whip honey and fold them together. And pour some milk for a quite delicious drink.
    Thank you for the great idea , I’ll try different cookies, add cinnamon cardamom etc. maybe chia tea instead of coffee.
    Oh my look what you have done my head is swirling with so many ideas. But first your lovely recipe must be made! Thanks again ❤

      I haven’t tried substituting coffee with anything else yet, so I wouldn’t know. But since this is already sweet, I recommend not adding sweetness. You can try cocoa powder but don’t don’t overdo it as it may leave a powdery taste on your tongue (1 tablespoon max, I guess should work)

      Oh, no, I wouldn’t alter the real tiramisu! 😄
      I enjoy experimenting with food, and one of the best things is figuring out how to upgrade simple, humble ingredients. Many stay away from cooking/baking because they believe good food is expensive and to some, deviating from the norm feels like a crime. I love disrupting that thought. Cooking with Marie is simply more reasonable to me because it’s always in my pantry 😂 Thank you so much, Akmal, for your interest in this recipe❤️

  • @lanabrown6553

    Instead of soaked biscuit you should put crumbs or crumble. Just a suggestion.

    • @FlorencyDias
      @FlorencyDias  3 місяці тому

      That would be quite similar to a serradura :)
      The crumble would feel a bit dry, in my opinion, but yes, adding a spoon of coffee to each layer of biscuit crumble would take care of it. Thanks for the idea, Lana🤗

    Take the concept of the cup and maybe the honey instead of sugar, but otherwise use real tiramisu ingredients for better texture balance and taste.

    Missing and major ingredient in tiramisu!

    This is a recipe full of sugar, in the honey, and in the biscuits. The only non-sugary ingredient is coffee. So I was quite disappointed. I love tiramisu, and this doesn’t sound anything like it, though.

      The author clearly noted: "No added sugar". Making these traditional desserts without any form of sugar is pretty difficult given that sugar is often essential to bind it together.

      @@FlorencyDias Don't be obtuse. Honey is nothing but sugar, with nearly the same glycemic index. Saying "no cream, no added sugar" implies that this is lower fat and lower carb than alternatives, making people think this is a 'healthier' option. You know this. It wouldn't be in the title otherwise. This is misleading, and it feels intentional.

      @@BiahDawood I expected something with calorie-reduction ingredients. Honey has more calories by volume than sugar (though less by weight). You're right--honey is a great substitute for sugar. Because it is also sugar.

      @FlorencyDias  2 місяці тому +3

      Hi, I’ve mentioned in my description that I’ve used a Standard US cup measure, where 1 cup equals 240ml. If we do the math, we can conclude that 1/4 cup equals 60ml :)
      There’s multiple ways of doing a particular thing (in this case, writing the measurements for a recipe). When cultures and methods collide and differences become apparent, it’s best to learn from each other rather than ask someone to change their ways. Just saying ❤️

      I haven’t tried it with chocolate, Sandra. You can just whip honey till thick without any additions. To soften the biscuits, maybe use milk (of your choice)? Cocoa powder may work instead of instant coffee, but I’m afraid it may give a powdery taste…
