I’ve been using Meguiar’s for about 10 years now on interiors and I’ll never change because I always get compliments. I get the new car scent and use it on the whole family’s vehicles.
Thank you for this comparison. I just bought a '90 Corvette Convertible and I'm doing a deep clean and detail on it and I will be using the Meguiars for sure .
Absolutely not! Plastics and leather "MUST" be super clean before applying any protectant, otherwise you're simply sealing in the dirt and crap. So no, you are most definitely not the weirdo bud. You're simply one who is smart enough to apply a little common sense!
Meguiars too shiny and reflection onto windshield is bad. 303 for me is best and I feel its the best protectant out there, not really a cleaner. Good comparison though.
Agreed. I tried to perform a test most people are going to do on their vehicles. The majority of folks are going to buy a product from the store and directly apply it without cleaning first.
Nice! I ended up really liking the product. Have used Aerospace 303 for the last decade religiously, but made the switch to Meguiares for the interior after this test.
I'm pretty sure the instructions for the Aerospace 303 says to BUFF it after it dries. Used this for years on Jet Skis and boats and that has always been a required step.
I've used MeGuiar’s on my vehicles as well because it isn't greasy and smelly like Armor All or others. I found it good in the house as well on my square leather ottoman and long leather bench in the entrance cleans and protects great.
I tried to do the video based on what the majority of people are going to do in their cars...being only using one application. The people whom are really die hard about cleaning and protecting will tell you to do both. I have had great success with using only a single product at a time.
I always use Meguiar's products for my BMW Z4. I only trust their products and have been using them for many years and always have such great results, this is a great video and thank you for sharing!
I believe a lot of auto detailers use all purpose cleaners. Simple green should be fine if you dilute it and just to clean. Make sure you use a conditioner/protectant afterwards Some even use super clean or McGuire's all purpose cleaner. That are highly reviewed and not very expensive
I always used 303 but now out of nowhere is started staining things white... maybe they had a formula change or maybe it's just my bottle but for that reason, I'm out.
I believe the products should've been applied in the shade/garage. After application they could've been brought out to the sun and evaluated at length. But what do I know?
Your correct. I tried to setup a scenario that would be consistent and that most people would apply. To me it seems like most people are going to apply the products at any point in time without reading the instructions first.
Exactly. This should be a two part video with step number one being a cleaner and then a protector McGuire's is known for leaving a shinier look over 303

Man super surprised again at the outcome. I love their wax, but never tried their interior treatments. Super cool stuff.
Can you use it on white leather?
My favorite is Meguiar’s Supreme Shine 😎❤
Thank you for this comparison. I just bought a '90 Corvette Convertible and I'm doing a deep clean and detail on it and I will be using the Meguiars for sure .
@@thaddeauscaldwell7101 Don't...
Thank your for using and reviewing 303 Protectant. Have a great day!
You bet!
I must be the weirdo that vacuums and dusts his dash before I use a protectant lol.
That makes but of us 🤣
Make that 3
That is the correct thing to do. Using these protectants ontop of dirt seals in the dirt.

ARMOR-ALL sucks! They haven’t lived up to their name in years! Gonna try the meguiars.
These are not cleaners. Protectant are used after cleaning.
I think the inconsistency with the 303 is the application. Doesn’t look like a thorough application as per the instructions.
Thank you so much for this video. Meguiar's blew all the other ones out of the water EASILY.
Glad it helped!
303 looks incomsistent because u cleaned very bad! And u are comparing a protectant ( meguiars) against real cleaners, wich is not kinda fair
Meguiars too shiny and reflection onto windshield is bad. 303 for me is best and I feel its the best protectant out there, not really a cleaner. Good comparison though.
Yes 303, UV protection is their game and he did use the protectant but they do have an interior cleaner / all surfaces too
Did you use the Supreme Shine one? Meguiars has multiple line-ups...
Nice review personally I'm sticking with 303
I still use it on specific parts too...still love it.
Dash needs a wipe over first with very diluted multi purpose cleaner.
Agreed. I tried to perform a test most people are going to do on their vehicles. The majority of folks are going to buy a product from the store and directly apply it without cleaning first.
Seems logical. Let’s use a protectant product to smear the dust all over the dashboard 👍🤣 rather than clean it first.
It would be best if you cleaned the dash with soapy water and then applied the protectants.
True. I was trying to do an application most people would do in my logic.
Great video, literally going to purchase Maguires products right now based off of this review. Thanks

Great tip! I've got an upcoming tire treatment with another MeGuiar's product, great stuff!
Great vid, but why are you using a protectant on a dirty surface?
As he stated, that's how most people do it out of laziness/time. They don't clean and apply, at least no one I know does except myself.
Do you really need a dedicated cleaner and a dedicated protectant or are combo cleaner/protectants sufficient?
I tried to do the video based on what the majority of people are going to do in their cars...being only using one application. The people whom are really die hard about cleaning and protecting will tell you to do both. I have had great success with using only a single product at a time.
When it comes to putting a shine on interior I have found something better than armor all Maguires or anything, its something better.
And it is Something better..
What is it?
Wishbi bought Meguires! Armor All stinks, does not work. Lesson learned. Thank you for the awesome video.. Aloha from Hawaii
Great video. Been looking for a cleaner for my car. Definitely going to use Meguires
Nice!
Are these dash cleaners, or are these products protectants that are applied after cleaning?
Thank you! I was about to buy Sos.... Mcguire's it is. Seeing is believing!
I always use Meguiar's products for my BMW Z4. I only trust their products and have been using them for many years and always have such great results, this is a great video and thank you for sharing!
Title says interior cleaner but used the protectant. Different product
Is simple green ok to use on dashboard?
I believe a lot of auto detailers use all purpose cleaners.

Good job 👍
Thanks 👍
I always used 303 but now out of nowhere is started staining things white... maybe they had a formula change or maybe it's just my bottle but for that reason, I'm out.
It does seem like there has been a formula change.

what I wouldv'e done is used the instructions on each of the bottles to see which works the best and also has the best instructions.
I’m definitely being MeGuair’s .Thank you!
You bet!
These are protectants not cleaners, sure your rag will pick up some dirt.
Exactly. This should be a two part video with step number one being a cleaner and then a protector
McGuire's is known for leaving a shinier look over 303
So I need a cleaner and protectant? Is there a two in one? If not what cleaner would you recommend?
@@Driveright698 you can use an APC like super clean on most surfaces then 303 or McGuire's
