    Living in FL, the most important aspect of a protectant is longevity. With the sun constantly beating down on the dash, it’s essential that I have the UV protection, and to have it Last at least 4 weeks. I mostly use 303, but would definitely try the Koch Chemie. I use some of their other products, and they’re flawless.

    I use the 303 on my truck's BakFlip cover. It does a fantastic job and my neighbor came by and asked why I got a new cover for my truck. I told him I just use 303 all the time. He is now using it.

    Such a helpful video! I so appreciate you taking the time to walk through the application and results of each product.
    I’ve been using some interior cleaner by The Chemical Guys which is okay for basic cleaning but I can never quite get my dash or other areas as clean as I’d like, despite the fact that I feel like I’m constantly cleaning them! My current vehicle is the nicest, newest car I’ve had and I’d like to keep it for awhile so I’ve been nervous about using products that might damage it. Thank you for conducting this test so I didn’t have to! 😅 Definitely going to order some KochChemie and can’t wait to try it out!

    Thanks for a basic test that showed the before & after. I have been looking at Gyeon dash cleaner, 303 dash cleaner & then the 303 product that you have shown in this video to seal in the colour, next was the German cleaner that keeps on popping up on some detailing products.

    I have to say, I bought the 303 and I think it is too prone to streaking for my liking. I bought Adam’s Interior detailer and liked it way more than I thought. I like the minimal amount of shine it provides to the finish and it’s great if you need a light clean on a well maintained interior.

    Armor All is cheap for a reason, but it didn't cause dashes to crack "back in the day". I don't use it after discovering better products. But dashes cracked because Detroit was cheap. Cars that had never had Armor All used in them would crack. After awhile Detroit refined their dash builds and they don't crack as bad as they used to. They build their dashes completely different than they did "back in the day."

    I have Meguiar's Ultimate interior cleaner. I haven't used it yet. My late cousin gave me his father's Camry to me. I'm the 4th owner of the Camry. The Camry is a 2000 Camry LE. My cousin's father was a cigar smoker so was his grandson. So what I did was I took a wet paper towels and ran over everything that was vinyl. All this brown tar came off just with wet paper towels. The dashboard has faded. Doors not so much. The Camry as a whole needs alot of work. It's a challenges but I aim to restore the Camry as much as I can. I'm a beginner detailer. I keep my interior as clean as possible. Nothing stays in the Camry of any importants because I live in a crime area. I probably will stay with Meguiar's interior cleaner. Thanks much for your video.

  • @davidmedrano4840
    @davidmedrano4840 Рік тому

    Something to take into consideration maybe in a better test, see which stands to the test of time. Armor All has a pretty bad rep. I use meguiars but I`m looking to upgrade the products I use on my cars I plan to keep them for a pretty long time and want to take the best care I can. One of my cars is a 1999 Rav4 5 door version and it was badly treated by its previous owners so I want to restore as much as possible and keep it nice, its a really nice car.
    So maybe test which one lasts the longest? which one will actually protect and restore the dash instead of just covering it with some oil compound and make it shine or make it look better for a moment? I don`t like the idea of taking so long to clean and detail my car interior plastic just to have it with dust sticking to it and/or the product fading after just a couple of days (which is what I feel that happens with Meguiars)

    The dash (notorious for cracking) on my '88 IROC is nearly flawless (a few minor scrathes), For the first few years I used Armor All and then switched to a Turle Wax protectant for a few years. (The TT was a clear spray which came in a clear bottle--it left a very glossy finish.) Then for many years I used Meguiars and or Turtle. Of course, I also always put a windshield screen protector when parked in the sun.

    I felt like if you left the armorall alone you would've gotten better results. The armorall has gotten me consistent results, a nice matte finish and cleaning, on pretty much any material I've used it on. . .I've used 303 and meguirs. 303 always feels like everything is moist . . . its not the best user experience. Megiurs is great and smells great.
