I’ll worry about getting it home later: famous last words. I like Japanese antiques, including large Tansu, dressers and chests. We brought back many examples after living in Japan for 4 years. On one trip, when I traveled from our home in Yokosuka to a northern Japanese city by train, my wife was relived that my antique shopping would be restricted to my suitcase. When I arrived at my destination the military base was hosting a large antique show and among the offerings was a very large 120 year old dresser that I really admired. The salesman came over to mention that for a very reasonable price, it could be freight shipped to my home in Yokosuka, Japan. I still use that chest as my dresser to this day, nearly 30 years later. Never underestimate a serious shopper!
So glad you could go help Barry and Melissa. You’re a good Mama. ❤❤❤ prayers for healing guys🙏🙏🙏 enjoy your time!!!
Wonderful to see Melissa getting out and shopping with you. The antique mall is amazing.
Hope everyone is OK in Florida. It was nice of mom to come to the rescue!!
She doesn’t make me seasick at all. I enjoy everything they do
You have been giving Goodwill alot of business over the years, plus on your video along with other resellers you gave them free press. You go girl.
Thrift it up while you are there in Florida.
So nice you can help your daughter and son in law out.
I hope your son in law has a speedy recovery and is feeling better for the holidays !🥰
"I just want everything immediately," 😂😅😂 but oh, the self-control you have is truly amazing.
Buy lots and mail it back to your house! I would! What a beautiful store. They have everything.
You find the best places to shop. That store/mall was epic. There were so many things, I was like "pick that up Karen"😃
"Unique Frog" struck me so funny
Hope Mwlissa and Bear heal quickly!
Karen, you’re an art curator at heart!
Wow. You sold some really cool things!
Thank you Karen, love you and your family, wishing you the best this New 2024❤ year, we all will be here with you❤️💯🐾🎉🥰☮️
That is one of my favorite stores !!
Good Morning Ladies ! So wonderful you are able to spend time with Melissa and Bare 😇 Have a wonderful shopping time together .
GA Karen and Mellissa. Hope you are on the mend. There is a $3 Thrift Shop at Rice's Market in New Hope that sells pins. They make beautiful things out of them.
A crisis will happen suddenly. Right out of the blue. When you make it through you get some type of increase. Happy Prosperous New Year! I hope your daughter’s foot gets ok and her husband.
So happy you are with the kids. They have really been through it 💕
Your love and energy is sure to infuse them with energy too endure. I love their channel and relay the videos often just because I like to listen to her voice 💕
She has the most interesting stories too.
I remember one of my aunts having the frogs made out of shells from the 70’s… those were pretty cool. Good stuff Karen, thanks a bunch! Hi to Roger!
Great shopping and great sales, Karen! Get well soon, Melissa and Barry! Hugs to all!
Love the way you photoed that 3 pair of Blair slacks
Really fun to see your booth and what sells there.
Prayers they are both healing. Nice you can visit.
I live an hour away in Tarpon Springs! Watch all your you tubes!!
LOVE Tarpon Springs!
I think in Fl people get the best stuff to resell by going to estate sales. people from coldser states when they retire to FL bring their good stuff there and when they die in FL their families just hold an estate sale
That was a very nice painting indeed. I actually think that the man adds interest to the background. Just my op. though. We like what we like eh?
OMG....Snoopy is so stinking cute!! Great job as always Karen on your finds and sold's. Have a blessed New Year!!
Thank you! You too! 💜
Wow, great sales 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
You and your channel inspire me! 💕
Behind the Royal Albert duos there is a Aynsley duo black and pink and I hav sold that for over $300 au
Fabulous! Thank you, Karen and Melissa!❤❤❤
I’d throw out my clothes before I left and fill suitcase with findings lol
Karen great job as always on your finds, and your sales! Good for you. I hope no one ever turns me loose in a store like that! Glad Melissa is feeling a bit better. ♥️ Hoping you and your family have a blessed new year.
🎉❤🎉❤🎉
Nice shop! The pronunciation is star ree eyed.
We shop here every so often....well run mall with lots and lots of treasures! Enjoyed watching your hunt. Safe travels......
Here's wishing Lisa and her hubby recover soon. I want to say that I put things into my locked case at my antique mall. The reason is that they are mainly smalls and we've had some shoplifting issues. It is for safety and not so much price so don't pass up looking in the locked cases. Happy New Year to you and Roger. Love you guys!!
We had a hand carved doll shop lifted years ago from our booth and gave it up right then. If someone can shop lift from an artist they don’t truly live the item.
Thank you so much! (This is Mellissa, my mom's eldest daughter. My husband had a fairly major surgery and I randomly broke my foot and sprained my ankle at the same time. My mom flew down to FL last minute on very last notice to help. ❤❤❤)
@@freshbloominclothing Yes Melissa! I meant to say your name and not Lisa's name. I know you are the one in Florida. I'm so glad your mama was able to come to your aid. Hopefully you two will be on the road to a fast recovery. My husband had broken his foot so I know what a hassle it can be! Hugs to you all.
🎉❤ Happy New Year, Karen and Roger.. Wishing you prosperity and good health❤
nice year end review,, give family a hug,,
I live about an hour from Ellenton/Parrish and was just in the Feed store Antique Mall about a week ago! It’s one of my favorite stores around. Have fun while you’re in Florida!
Your nails are gorgeous! 🤩
MERRY CHRISTMAS and a very HAPPY NEW YEAR to you and Roger - love you guys! ~ Amy
Thank you for sharing the Good News! Merry Christmas and God bless!💕
I like to see the high profit sales. Such unusual items that I never find on the west coast. I think I would look good in that bathing suit! Hahaha.
Melissa is soooo pretty 😀
You made my day. Thank you!
The stone with the owl looks like raw aventurine to me.
Thanks so much!
You and Roger Happy Healthy New years.❤
Love the vase, hopefully it was 1/2 off. Best wishes to your daughter and son in law. Happy New Year!!
Thanks for another great video ! Happy New Year to you and Roger !!!
Absolutely love the camel bone trinket box and if you notice the latch on it is an owl
Sorry you had to rush down to Florida under those circumstances, but I'm glad you made the best of it Karen. (I hope your daughter and son-in-law are well soon.) 90% off is fantastic! I want to wish you and your family a healthy, happy New Year.
Thank you for the video Karen! Happy New Year!!
Hey lady! Thanks for another awesome video ❤❤
Happy New Year to you and Roger.May you be blessed in 2024.❤️
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Karen and Roger!
What a great way to spend time. Enjoyed watching. Sue in Illinois
Great video Karen. Good to see Mellissa out and about with you, that tells me Bare is doing ok....Happy New Year to your entire family. God bless you all...
He's turned the corner and things are a bit less intense in his healing process.
Good for you on the shiney bright ornaments. The JNKO jeans are pronounced “Jenko” like you said. They were banned from my kids schools in 1990 as too gangster.
Absolutely love the vase!! Great find, would suit so many different decorating styles.
WOW! the cool stuff in there! Alot of stuff you just dont see everyday. Im thinking these booth owners are very particular with what they purchase, they probably know how to scan very quickly and move to another store covering more ground, they probably do alot of flea markets, estate sales and auctions so they get those low prices.❤ Camel bone cause it had Arabic writing on it, so its probably not buffalo elephant ivory or horn. Congratulations on your large sells Woo Hoo!❤
Great video. Such lovely things. Hope your family gets well soon. Val.🐨
I thought it said Danish bowl.
Happy New Year 🎉 Karen. Thank you for your inspiration all year long. Be well soon Melissa.
Thank you❤❤❤
Happy New Year!
Happy New Year Karen❤
Hi Karen - great finds as usual! I'm visiting my brother in Petaluma, CA and went to a St. Vinny de Paul thrift nearby and picked up a short sleeve Johnny Was top and thought of you! Cheers, Katia
Happy New Year to Both of you and your family
Merry Christmas to you, Roger, & family🎉 I believe that FL is similar to socal & there are lots of estate sales for inventory year round.
All the best to you and Roger now and in the future!! 🎉2024!!
Someone just left the vase in booth 6. Probably traded that item from booth 99 for something in booth 6. Happens all the time in antique malls. You will probably find that happening in your own space! Merry Christmas!
Karen, I never comment on anyone’s UA-cam channel but wanted to let you know that I appreciate you being transparent and even vulnerable at times. Love all your content.
Question: how do you clean your clothing items before you sell: wash or cleaners?
She washes them herself. ❤
Some things were lovely there, but too expensive!
Love the video ❤❤❤
Florida Store Stock Source Question: the logical answer to explain the nice stock volume in that store is the higher mortality rate associated with the larger elderly population in popular retirement areas like Florida and Arizona. The Florida economy gets a nice boost from “importing” the aging who want to spend winter out of the cold. All the aging baby boomers (and their parents) who sunbird south, likely bring their favorite possessions when they move. Then they either pass away or have to downsize again when they move into assisted living. Even though the raw mortality rate in Florida is lower then the national average, let’s face it, if the person (or couple) has the money to move there, have a second home or spend winters in Florida they likely have the income afford nice things.
Geez, you are a talker
@@suziflorida Great thing about the comment section is being able to share and relating to the issues and questions that come. And, just because I type in detail on my Laptop doesn't obligate you to read them..... LOL
I have a camel bone trinket box. It has papers with it
Estate sales galore in FL to boost their inventory!
7:39 Florida is God's waiting room; so many estate sales.
Enjoyed the video.
So sorry for Melissa’s boot situation. Im having major foot surgery in Feb so I’ll be on a knee scooter/boot. Ugh! 😩
I truly wish I would have thought about a knee scooter 6 weeks ago. They gave me crutches and I borrowed a walker.
I know you will do amazingly well. It takes time to heal but it is slowly getting there.
@@freshbloominclothing thank you so much! I’m praying for your complete healing ❤️🩹
❤@@bobbinoethlich5281
Love, love, love this store! Do they sell online?
Love the jewelry! Love the everything!
I don't see where they sell online. Their website is bare bones and their FB just posts photos/sales.
At 12:42 - Danish bowl, not parish bowl
Not a fan of the mall videos, but: love triple love the sold ones!!
Ikebana: it’s pronounced ickey (like sticky) bon-na. The vowels are pronounced differently then ours when Japanese words are spelled out using english/romanized letters (Romaji). When my family lived in Japan, we took classes in the art of Japanese flower arranging. I referred to the attempts by my American classmates as Ukky-bana, when compared to the examples made by our Sensei.
Pretty sure ikebana is pronounced just as it’s written… i-ke-ba-na
@@debbieseibert2332 Yes, I agree. But to many Americans that spelling can have a few pronunciations, which is why Karan gave it a couple tries in the video. Many don't pronounce the bana as an O sound. They make an A sound.
❤❤❤
I love how your suggested video at the end screen is the "Worst Goodwill Ever"! LOL
Wonderful video Karen as usual. Big thanks from this Aussie. ❤
Hi hi Karen lv Ann uk ❤️❤️🇬🇧🇬🇧
Should of gotten frog and 2 men in the boat
I loved the 2 elves in the boat & what a great price!
The "Crystal" in Dynasty Joan Collins dresses like that in real life. lol It is so her isn't it?
Please check out Emiline's Antique Mall when you visit next time. Just west of this store in Palmetto. I'd love to meet you. We have 45 vendors and lovely items.
My mom left a few days ago or we would have. Next time! ❤
͡ ͜ʖ ͡Just stopping by, wishing you a beautiful day ≧◔◡◔≦
I looooove that Austrian glass! How much did they have on that? Also, I’m a new seller on eBay and was wondering if I could ask some advice? How do you save on shipping costs, fees etc. sometimes I feel like I’m paying out an arm and a leg!
My buyer pays shipping
So much drama! 🤣
Oh she is so delicate! Isn’t she ?
🌸👍🏻🌸
I don't think there's any such think as knit cordury. Just saying! :)
Yes, there definitely is. Google it. It’s a ribbed knit.
That is the best description for those pants if you listened to her.
Pink Aphroditi"< Gorgeous
If you go back, you might also enjoy Scavenger"s Marketplace 2100 Hwy 301(a little west of The Feed Store). I have a booth there, 50+ vendors - lots of vintage, a fun place!
Sorry but your film makes me sea sick moves around too fast and wably. Although I love the stuff u feature.
Some of that was my fault. I have a broken foot and am in a full boot. 😂 My mom flew down to help quite quickly and didn't pack her GoPro.
@@freshbloominclothing
I’m so sorry you broke your foot! 😢❤
@@freshbloominclothingyou love me 😂 sticking up for me? Thanks sweetie!
Take some Dramamine & get a grip...this isn't a professional filming gig...jeesh! Smdh...some folks always gotta b*tch about something.
I think you filmed perfectly
Way too overpriced!!
