I’ve played through half like 2 regularly once. Every other play through I’ve done has been in gmod with any sort of wacky difference or rules I can think of.

I have a challenge you can do or mod that could be made where your trying to speed run half-life 2 with a SNPC chasing you. It doesn't spawn until NPC required interactions are needed. Or else the SNPC kills the NPC and softlocks the game. And it only spawns at check points around the map. You get a 10 second head start and after those 10 seconds the SNPC spawns.
That was a really good G-Man impresion.
