thanks for watching. I've been riding it every week, so I got pretty comfortable on it. I switch my feet depending on which way i'm turning and hang my body off the side of the ski. staying on the throttle seems to prevent me from tipping over while turning lol
@@amyschoenborn9751 nope. i’d make sure the plastic tubes that go into the fuel tank aren’t cracked, and check your pulse line that goes from the crankcase to the carb. that’s where i’d start but i’m by no means an expert lol
@@maxmyslewski Greetings from Ireland, I have a modified 650 x2 ( shortened hull, Solas impeller, gutted water box, aftermarket exhaust and a mikuni 44mm snb) and it’s a completely different ski. Well worth the work. That being said a friend of mine has a 750 swapped one with similar modifications but it’s been bored to 800 and it’s just scary at top speed,
@@maxmyslewski makes a big difference, aftermarket or even skimmed head is another big one, especially if your doing a rebuild anyways, up the compression
love the vid bro! reminds me of how i work on my x2 lol
thanks for watching man. I just put a 550 together too, will probably post some videos on it as well
Had my x2 for about 3 months but dang you really rip those turn must take a lot of balance

Ripping bro 🤘🏼🤘🏼
you gotta ride it one of these weekends
have you ever had problems with your kawasaki getting fuel?

@@maxmyslewski thanks
@@maxmyslewski how do i know if the line from the crank case to the carb is good
@@amyschoenborn9751 i would just make sure it’s not cracked/dry rotted and that it’s zip tied tight to the engine and carb
where did you get the kill switch?
@@amyschoenborn9751 it’s a faceplate from a kawi TS650. try a stand up jet ski facebook group if you can’t find one online
What’s the switch under the lanyard?
choke cable
Sorry I mean the throttle like thing
@@onisimusdobrovat1029 yes, it is that lever on the left handlebar under the killswitch. all the way forward = max choke.
Oh ok
Thank you
Stock since 94?
yes. I’d like for it to make a little more power but i’m not sure what exactly i’m going to do with it yet. maybe 750 swap during the winter

Scuff that corner and silicone adhesive and use hardware
I already lost it in the lake. dumbass mistake on my part…. should’ve used adhesive it and lock washers.
