    Actual Description
You're going to want to watch this video as I smash the X2 through some corners and run some shore line runs.
For anyone who hasn't seen my early Jet Ski videos... you won't remember me flopping around in the water like a netted fish, trying simply to get on an X2.
Just over a year later and look at me now !

That powerslide at the beginning was beautiful 👌 I did a real laugh out loud for that spark bolt thing, I’m going to have to watch that a few times.

Thanks Josh ! The camera angle worked out perfect for that slide... I thought it was a good way to start the video.
I was editing the video and thought, I should have just changed my plugs ... so I decided to turn it into an Ad, haha... Glad you enjoyed.

:) Yeah... I was feeling pretty confident after running the buoys - in the last video but in reality just a short while before this clip.
Sometimes I'm tempted to make a full 20 minute video of just slow mo shots. It's awesome what the camera sees under the water along those shore runs. You miss most of it when riding and at regular speed video.
Next year I want to try out some polarized lenses as they are supposed to cut glare of the water even better.

      Hello Carlos.
Check this video out. I show some of how it is done, and I will also explain below. Cheers. ua-cam.com/video/uk0T6OjAlIs/v-deo.html
I have modified my cooling system some, so this is not a basic modification.
I have one cooling line that only cools my engine, and a second one that cools my exhaust with control valves on each so that I can control the temperature of my engine and exhaust independently.
The water that I used to heat my hands comes from the exhaust elbow. I used a T to connect into the line and drilled a hole in the centre of my handle bars between the mounting clamps. Water flows through my bars, heats them up and shoots out the ends of the bars. I can add the hoses to also heat my hands with the warm water.

Love the slides, how long did it take you to learn how to do that, looks like fun, as I only have a sit down ski

      Thanks Adrian.
I actually saw it one day on an instagram clip and then went out and tried it... I fell in a few times, but it actually came to me pretty quickly.
This is possible on a sit-down, but it may require totally different technique, depending on the hull design. An old wave Jammer would work much like my ski, but a Sea Sea Xp would probably not work the same as mine.
Most of this has to do with body positioning and using the throttle "correctly" You approach the corner with a fair amount of speed and then start turning gently. Then you lean into the corner hanging off the side, but extend your outer leg and arm so that the ski can stay somewhat level. The X2 is a lean to turn, so it will slide easier if it is flat. You then blip the throttle quickly to get the rear end to kick out and start sliding. To stop sliding and ride away, I aggressively shift my weight causing the ski to lean into the turn and hold the throttle wide open.
If you watch the video you again and keep pausing it, you will probably be able to pick out several of these steps.

Key. Old video. My x2 has a 3/8 pisser upgrade. It doesn’t piss well when in the water. No clogged lines. Motor doesn’t seem to be running super hot. Do you think it is just because of the bigger pisser outlet?

Hello Ben. My X2 barely came out really slowly when I first got it. It could be because of the larger outlet. As long as the engine isn't running hot then there's nothing to worry about.
I changed a lot of stuff in my cooling system and got it to come out more aggressively, but it took a total redesign.

Dude the camera punch was an awesome little 360° full flow. What's the glove leash tubes you've got going on there?

HAha... Thanks. I didn't even go to film school.. Can you believe that !?
The hoses that are going into my gloves are to feed hot (warm) water to my hands. I changed my cooling system so that I have separate cooling on my engine and exhaust. I think ran the exhaust elbow cooling water to my handle bars so that it heats my bars and comes out the ends of the grips. I can use hoses to feed that water into my gloves if needed.
Great for cold water riding... however, good neoprene gloves also work really well and keep you warm if the engine fails... so there is that.
