The X2 was the fisrt ski I,ever learned to ride on. It was the intermediate between my uncle's stand-up amd the sit down XP I think. When we got really good on the X2, we would ride the stand up, but then my uncle got into jet ski racing and he ramped up the power on the engine which made it dangerous to ride when you weren't used to it. Then he got a pro model with the giant exhaust and the X2 became his support ski, so he cranked the power on that too. Eventually they weren't fun anymore. You needed so much protective gear juat because you were going so fast, a drop of water stung when it hit you.

I know, I went 35 on my js550 and it felt so fast there was no way in hell I wanted to fall. 😂
I loved the movie waterworld and i actually went back and looked up the stand ups in the movie.
My favorite part: all of the Smokers on the 550s, strapped down under water, but miraculously they fired right up for the chase scene 🤣🤣🤣
