If you throttle it under water, will it suck up water?
@@ajlukelepuke nope. you just have to make sure to drain the hull out via siphon or bilge pump after you do a submarine. a lot of water ends up in the bottom of the hull when you do it
@maxmyslewski ah. Got it. Thanks
"Myslewski" it sounds like a Polish surname translated into English
@@KomUrczakPlay I definitely have some Polish ancestry. not sure about the details of it though unfortunately
@@maxmyslewski Your surname is very Polish, especially the ending "ski", which was the ending of the surname of the Polish nobility. I have a JS550 and I swim a bit, but I can't do such tricks, greetings from Poland.
@ thanks for watching and thanks for the info!
I had two Kawasaki jet skis and one super jet. Every time I tried it the pressure of the water would be too much. Always ended up like the first one in this video.
"When you start getting good at it, you'll over rotate. And then you can lawn dart it over the pole". This also happens when you get used to subbing a jet ski without foot straps.....and then add foot straps to the same ski, along with applying the same amount of effort 😅😅
What wiring harness did use, I’m in the middle of this right now and need some help
@@ethanwoodfin2423 stock engine harness and the MaxxECU jumper harness. what are you using and what issues are you having?
Sweet!
sorry i bitch about my back and make weird high pitched noises on occasion
what motor is in the js550?
@@jfpv4420 piston port 550. sb44, mariner head. and an aftermarket impeller although i’m not sure the specs of it. bought it for cheap with the engine taken out of it.. slapped it together and have been riding it ever since
@maxmyslewski looks like it runs good, I rebuilt my piston port with a snb44 and that one looks like it rips, I may need to swap out the stock impeller to give it some more low end
Yes it’s completely possible on the new four stroke stand ups, there’s so much weight up front all you need to do is lean forward! LOL
Thanks for posting The crew is growing and fun to watch
thanks for watching!
Can you do a video on how to pull off that slide you did? Great video!
if you experiment with it for a few mins you’ll figure out where to shift your weight and balance so you don’t fall either direction. just takes some trial and error
I have one question, is it possible to do submarine without footstraps? Because i’ve heard from a youtuber drilling on stand up jetski can cause it to sink
@@hashyolomaster6469 plenty of people have done submarines without foot straps. if you are drilling into your hull for foot straps, just make sure you’re sealing it up properly so water doesn’t get through
@@maxmyslewski do you think you can show us how to do submarine without foot straps?
@@hashyolomaster6469 he explains it in the video. you want to push your feet into the sides of the tray when you’re lifting up
I’ve heard everything he said but please make a video that he do submarine without footstraps because i am planning to buy stand up jet ski
we gonna get another video? do you still have the car ? how is it ?
@@damionblazer7139 finally drove it last summer. just started working on it again a few weeks ago. will definitely make an update video soon
@@maxmyslewski sweet ! Can't wait .
i sub my jetski all the time this is a good break down for sure and you can totally do it on stock no problem.
have you ever had problems with your kawasaki getting fuel?
@@amyschoenborn9751 nope. i’d make sure the plastic tubes that go into the fuel tank aren’t cracked, and check your pulse line that goes from the crankcase to the carb. that’s where i’d start but i’m by no means an expert lol
@@maxmyslewski thanks
@@maxmyslewski how do i know if the line from the crank case to the carb is good
@@amyschoenborn9751 i would just make sure it’s not cracked/dry rotted and that it’s zip tied tight to the engine and carb
Can it be done on a tr-1 superjet
@@henrytischbein155 yep. search Mark Gomez superjet on youtube
love it. and i like how there is no music
wicked session!
wow! cool 😄😄
Sick shredds! I just got my first super jet which is a SN 650 and I gotta say as much as I like how I can make way faster turns with ease, Im missing my 550sx and its ability to jump higher than any ski ive ridden (bone stock too) theres nothing like them IMO. Where are you guys located for the shredds?
we are a little bit west of Pittsburgh. and yeah i love my 550, but i definitely want to add a SJ to my fleet eventually.
Watching this makes me want to go out to cool off!
where did you get the kill switch?
@@amyschoenborn9751 it’s a faceplate from a kawi TS650. try a stand up jet ski facebook group if you can’t find one online
You forgot a couple very important things A. Know how deep it is- you need at least 6 feet especially when learning and you pitch too far down and hold the throttle too long. Have broken many a motor mount and cracked noses.. especially doing nose stabs in surf B. bilge pumps - doing subs, nose stabs and learning barrel rolls will fill these things up fast. Dual 500 bilge pumps or scupper kits are smart, both even better.
@@tyronetrump1612 100%
fallout vibes lol
Good to know. I just got my Tigershark 640 in JS550 hull project going. Once it's broken in I'll be trying this.(or sinking my ski)😅
@@bimmerpooch you got it. get a bilge pump hooked up and you’ll be good to go
Can you do it on the x-2?
@@turboparks7183 i’ve never subbed mine, but it’s definitely possible to do it on them.

I love these videos! Cool to see people are still ripping around these vintage skis and making videos about it! ✌
@@ID13371 thanks for the feedback man!
imagine if these were electric you could stay on the throttle while submarined
Couldn’t you put a snorkel on it?
Love your crew and we can see progression in your riding. Thank you for sharing.
@@deangiles6157 thanks for watching and commenting. I plan to keep making these
Nice submarine
Are backflips lame in jetski terms how backflips are lame to a real bmx rider?
it’s like how stevie churchill doing a flair is cool, but harry main doing a flair is lame
Lee Stone kept raising the bar in flat water freestyle you have to do a double backflip now or you are invisible.
So fire

Can you do more videos on freestyle tricks like riding backwards
that’s one you just have to practice a little bit and figure out. i’m not very good at it tbh
I'm building a 1.8t 058 as well. How did you convert the fluidampr crank pulley for use on an 058? It says it can only be used on an 06a and I'm wondering what you did to make yours work. Did you also find a billet crank gear? I only found one that works with 06a blocks or did you use that one on your 058?
I don’t think fluidampr makes the part anymore unfortunately. I would shoot them an email and ask though. I have the 058 dowel pinned crank gear from IE. all of the websites in the US say “no longer available”, but i found this one in canada. not sure if they can ship here but maybe shoot them an email too comotorsports.ca/1-8t-timing-belt-gear-dowel-pin-kit-058-early-1-8t-and-16v-iebeva6-usp.html
post more!!!! Please!!!
definitely will have some more videos up soon. thanks for watching
Bro us struggling. Rookie status for sure. Keep trying, someday u will level up. 😂😂😂😂
How to escape from cops 😂😂😂😊
is it possible to do on the 4 stroke superjet ?
definitely
Aww the good ol days
does it damage my engine?
nope. it will allow water into the hull, but that water gets siphoned back out into the river as you start moving again. if you take on too much water, you could suck some into the engine and cause your ski to run poorly
How to fuk up a jetski 1 o 1
notice how they run perfectly fine afterwards in the video
Tell me you don’t ride stand ups without telling me
Tell me you don’t know how a engine works without telling me
@@zachnewton4983 i think that he thinks the engine will get hydro locked, which isnt likely, and even more unlikely to damage a standup because of water in the cylinder.
Can we have a how to achieve flight next?
yes, we’ll be filming that once i finish my Heinkel He-111 project plane
Waterworld vibes
Gotta be back on that throttle sooner
Watch for stumps bro
good call, but i think the river is plenty deep here
