    Miss Leah, may I ask for the example at 10:09, why wasn't the ethyl group mentioned in the isomer's name? Is it right to say (E)-3-ethyl-3-methylhex-3-ene or (E)-3-ethyl-3-methylhex-ene?

    What if you working with a diene how do differentiate e and z

    • @Leah4sci
      @Leah4sci  4 місяці тому

      The process would be the same. You would just need to identify the E/Z configuration for both double bonds in the molecule and include both in the structure's name.

    what do u mean by atomic number? is that size?

    • @Leah4sci
      @Leah4sci  Рік тому

      The atomic number is the number of protons in an atom. It's the large number notated in each box of the periodic table of elements. It's not directly proportional to the atomic radius/size.
