VW Arteon vs. Mercedes-Benz C300: Unabridged

A few months ago I published a little comparo/non- comparo on the VW Arteon 4Motion and the Mercedes-Benz C300 4Matic. Only part of it worked, then it locked up like an overheated Peugeot about halfway through. Well, it should be fixed now. So here's another shot. These are 2022 models, but the 2023s should be about the same. I think. GenieBen!

Depends on your needs. If you need more room and want to pay less, go with the Arteon. If you want more refinement and features, go C-class. Either way, you need a good dealer to fix the bugs both will likely have. Oh, and remember the Arteon is a hatchback which might work better for some people.

@@MachinesWithWheels was the ride quality that much better in the C Class? You did mentioned of higher than expected noise in the Arteon cabin

@@sakichugouken2474 The Arteon is not punishing by any stretch. But the C is just a bit more quiet and refined especially when the road is rough.
