I think the legion command squad will be in Mark 6 because the Legions Imperialis command squad is Mark 6, in the same way as the assault squad.

Great show guys. Personal wants for heresy this year would be plastic super heavies and flyers. It’s unlikely but a plastic Fellblades and storm eagles etc would be awesome.
Here's what I'm hoping for in 2024:
- Upgrade sets or new kits for breachers and despoilers
- Plastic Storm Eagle or Dreadclaws
- Non-marine armies in plastic, even if it's just troops and HQ
- Finish off the remaining legions without unique praetor models
- A new campaign book, hopefully somewhere where lots of legions can get involved and the Imperial Fists aren't the focus. My preferences would be Shadow Crusade, Molech, Beta-Garmon or Yarant
- An errata to fix some of the imbalances in the game, rather than the FAQ to clear up confusions
The other point about the Exemplary Battles book was that they didn't even fix the Atramentar which every Night Lords player asked for. They just reprinted the unit with a points reduction on lightning claws, so they weren't even listening to what the community wanted with the minimal content they did include.

Next year GW needs to give the people what they really want. A 20 man Mk I box.
I think it's interesting the Sky-Hunter sprues are three sprues each with a jetbike and a sprue with three riders on it. Here's hoping we get a Mk II rider sprue in the near future!
I'd also like it if the Command Squad was an upgrade box that'd work with any armour mark, but I do think you guys are right that it'll be a stand-alone squad box.

Great overview. Today I received the Chtonia book I ordered due to your enthusiasm about it.
Can't complain about the releases, just the order of releases has been strange with a second tactical squad instead of much needed despoilers and the reluctance to make modular kits covering more bases (despoilers/assault/destroyers) is hard to justify at the moment.
Solid show lads. Fantastic year for Heresy and some brilliant kits have been released. The game has found its feet, but i wouldnt want a 3 year refresh, it simply doesnt allow enough time for campaign books to be produced for current editions and i would want the current edition to mature even more and allow for cool campaigns with the current rules. 5/6 year is probably better imo.
Heresy is in a good place, but could be a in a GREAT place. For me the release schedule has been all muddled up... I don't get why they're releasing legion-specific consuls when there are legions without praetor models? I'm still waiting on my Raven Guard praetor lol
Also, they really need to get on top of the dire production issues they have. They're releasing too much too fast and can't keep up with demand!
To me this really has been the best 30k has ever been. I always sort of admired 30k from afar. I loved the setting, the designs of the older armor marks, characters, and the vehicles, but it was just so expensive and unapproachable. Now we have a ton of new models, though not always where that support is most needed, and the new blood has washed away a lot of that cliquey feeling from the stagnating old guard.
The range is still far from having everything it needs, and the rules still have issues that needs to be addressed, but the game is alive again. That's more than can be said for the end of 1.0.
I really hope they don't do a plastic Fire Raptor because I don't want to waste money on a model I probably won't play.
What do you guys think about future mkIII upgrade sets? Like legion pads and heads? Seems like a quick win for GW and I wouldn't mind them at all...

On the "Blood And Honour" thing - it's not just that the Nazis used it, it's because it's a really common phrase used by neo-nazi and other racist far right groups in the current day - specifically it is the name of a UK neo-nazi music promotion group.

After doing about an hours research I'd probably back track on what I said on the show. GW were right to pull the book and right to replace the book. I see the phrase is actually banned in Germany (in German not English) and I can't find a reference to it in militaristic language before 1930.
@@medheadful yeah I mean tbh this is the first I heard of why Imperialis was reprinted, but as soon as you mentioned that phrase I knew - however I don't know it due to knowledge of history but due to being into punk and extreme metal music where said label is well-known for being dodgy. I certainly wouldn't expect your average joe to clock the reference.. although admittedly the Venn diagram of punk and metal fans and 40k fans is basically a circle haha.
