Howdy! Hope the AutoEdits family dig this new vehicle... could be a lot of fun. I will do a more in depth test drive video and explain how I "accidentally" acquired this fun little Rover! Here's a link to the Amazon shopping lists...please snag a set of gloves or something useful from there... it helps me out! www.amazon.com/shop/autoedits

Cool new rig….i did not have great luck with Land Rover but several people really love them. Great video as always 👊🏻👊🏻

Welcome to rover ownership. I just sold my 2006 Hse with 240k on the clock. It was a super fun rig, would go anywhere I wanted it to. Definitely costly to repair, and repair I did often. Arnott air springs are the way to go when it’s time.

What a buy! Surely, that is easier to use in the SoCal stop-n-go than the ever-faithful manual Jeep. You've also found an example that belies the notion that British cars can't survive past, say, 100,000 miles. I dare say the previous owner(s) were as fastidious with maintenance as you are. This is a total win-win! Aloha.

Nice accidental acquisition. Now that basic maintenance items are done, what's next? I know. 35" mud tires without lift. Since it has air bags, it's easy. Let's go Jason!

HA! Don't think I didn't take some measurements...🤣 I promised myself I would keep it more city friendly than I did with the Tahoe... we'll see how that goes!

Thanks so much for asking! It's been really slow for me to get started this year... no big commercials but I did get several days on Beverly Hills Cop4 which was fun.

I don't have the brake kit yet and really wanted to do some inspection and try out the rear parking brake fix... which ended up being a huge win!

I have a Jeep too and am also planning to add a full size (2010-2012) Range rover SC to the fleet. They scare me a bit but I love the brand.

I get it now for sure! I'm hoping that with a little mechanical DIY it should keep the costs down.

Congratulations on the new vehicle, I had a 2010 I bought used with 80k on it that I owned for 4 years before trading on my JKU. Oil extractor definitely makes the oil change easy. Overall, no major issues with mine. Had a transmission shifter connection bushing I had to replace ($45) where the vehicle would come out of drive and not know what gear it was in. Easy fix. Only other item I had to replace were a couple composet coolant fittings on the front of the engine and did the water pump while at it. Other than that just routine brake job, new tires but nothing major. Transmission fluid change was kind of a pain, but if you get the replace pan with the separate filter is very doable.

Hi Jason, I just rediscovered your channel as I am shopping for an L320. Congratulations on the new car, it looks great, clearly it was well kept! Has the timing chain every been done on yours? Suspension bushings?

    • @AutoEdits

I'm really loving this thing... such a wonderful vehicle to drive. I don't know about the timing chains and will just hope for the best for now and there are two new lower control arms but it's still got the original air struts.

@@AutoEdits Thank you so much for your response. The suede interior trim coupled with the impeccable condition of your car truly sets it apart. I have looked at numerous examples to purchase and none of them have come close to how clean your example is. I look forward to seeing more content with it, the canyon driving shots were awesome!

These are such cool rigs, even with their quirks. And hey, now when you roll up in style to your next audition! I mean, not that the Jeep doesn't have lots of style, but its a bit less "hollywood" than a Range Rover :)

Sweet new Range Rover! My mom has a 2012 L322 HSE with 5 L V8. It’s a great truck but the service bills are shocking. Keep an eye on the timing chain, this is a known issue and it is an extremely expensive repair. Be thankful you live in California because these trucks hate cold weather.
