Thank you thank you
Very informative, thanks
Glad it was helpful!
Really excellent informative video changing filters and oil!
Just bought 2008 Sport.. unfortunately the garage hasn't honoured the full service agreement along with other matters.
A tad soul destroying especially as it's my first Range Rover.
Thank you for your concise help!
Your welcome. Good luck with your ownership.
@@OctaneFever Thank you!
Thanks
Your welcome.
NEVER trust any garage to do the the service, always check that its been done and you want all the old filters and parts, they replaced, if they dont give you dont pay them, i was caught out big time from a "range rover garage", i had a poke around afterwards, and found air & diesel and gear box filter was never touched, so they did the full serviced again with me under the ramp watching them, all they did to my l322 was plug the car in and cleared the service light, i let them off light it still bugs me thinking about it,
Thanks !! Doing it by myself saved me 600€ 😅 and with the tutorial it wasnt a pain in the ass but more a blessing easier than i tought .. not made it any further into your video's will do btw but do u also have a tutorial to change the gearbox fluids ? Would be the next thing i was thinking to undertake cause why not , never hurts because the previous owner did not go to a "dealer" that kept records i'm clueless :p
Interesting Service Interval Reset Procedure - What does it add 10,000 miles or 1 Year or ??????
Great guide. Is this the same for the L320 pre facelift?
I’d imagine so. Only difference there might be is the sump might not have the return tube so you will have to drain the oil from the sump plug. Which isn’t all that bad as long as you use some cardboard to direct the oil into the container. Good luck. Cheers for the sub.
This is gasoline version? Tried to review but the commercials kept interrupting. Gave up. Thanks for posting.
I thought there was a suction tubing (inside the filler cap) allowing u to suck oil out using an extractor.
Probably but I don’t have those tools
I think youve put the pollen filter in upside down mate. If you look at the little diagram it shows where the dirt is
I’m pretty sure it’s the correct way around. It’s simple enough to get right.
@@OctaneFever You have definitely installed it upside down. Air flow is in the downward direction. A genuine LR filter has the arrows pointing up to denote installation direction. Aftermarket filters, such as Mann, have the arrow pointing in the direction of the air flow. Easy mistake to make.
Looks like air filter had an oil stain.... Intake might be sucking up oil
Much better to vacuum the oil out from the top, most garages do it that way even main dealers.
Yeah but this was about saving money and doing it yourself.
I have a 2007 Range Rover plz hepl
What’s up?
Not going to bother with a fuel filter...
It was changed 6 months ago so didn’t need it.
Wrong oil you will destroy the engine. Say bye bye to the cranckshaft 😂
Sorry what is wrong about it?
Am thinking of getting one of these but am reluctant due to having to cough up a whopping £695 a year to the tax man. Can anyone help with how you reconcile this absolute bum fisting you get each year when that time comes round again?
Tbh mate it’s the nature of the beast. I have two car which are both in the highest bracket so the dvla are getting £1400 a year from me lol.
