Great video, thx very much. My symptoms matched this exactly, but I never thought to check for spark after it died. I suspected it was a fuel issue, but this was super helpful! Thx again.
Details, Details that’s why your videos are awesome. It helps us understand even more about repairing our own equipment. Thank you for the video sir 👍😎🇺🇸
I own a Husqvarna 150BT leaf blower, but it’s been having issues lately. It won’t stay running; when it does start, it dies out after a few minutes. I’ve already replaced the carburetor and fuel lines, but the blower still won’t run. Do you know what the solution might be?
Do you think there is a difference in the OEM Husq. coil for $100 and the $30-$40 ones on amazon? Or does Husqvarna use the same and just mark it up? Thanks
So, my engine bogs down after using it several minutes.. carb has been cleaned - new gas etc. Son says it the coil ... Can it be the coil?? Thank you!!
I have the same exact problem, replaced the coil package exactly like you did but it still does the same thing. What do you think. It definitely works 100% when cold. It has less than 10 hours on it but it’s out of warranty because I only use it once a year for .5 acres. Please help.
@ it’s not that it isn’t starting it’s that it runs and then once it gets warm, it stopped running it’ll crank back up, but it’ll spit and putter and then cut off like you described in the beginning of the video
I did order a carburetor, but it appears they sent me a two barrel carburetor, and the one that’s on there is a one barrel carburetor they may not actually be barrel carburetor, but they have barrel chambers so that’s what I’m gonna call them. It also sounds a little more bad ass to have a two barrel carburetor on my backpack blower except I don’t. It’s a one barrel carburetor dang never mind. I’ll leave now.

Great way to store the bits and magnetize at the same time 👍

Thanks! GET IT
Great vid! This was the blower I started with and 4 years later still starts for me 💯
thanks
nice work tom sir, surprised the coil went out on that looks in good shape, but just one of those parts to wear out.

could be the coil, when it dies check for spark while its still hot
or after it dies... loosen the gas cap and if it cranks again
right on my friend going strong

They're pretty good just make sure you compare it with the picture, and read the reviews on the coil
@@TomDobyMowerRepair thank you 👍🏻
I need to replace mine as well , does every 150BT take a different ignition coil? The one installed says CDC engraved on casing
think they're the same
did you try the other coil? every one i look at says "not compatible with cdc"

@@toneygreen if it bogs check the spark arrestor screen in the muffler

you could have gotten a bad coil, i got one last week!
@ is that test-able or just get a new one? They’re pretty cheap
@whitehouseummahh9725 new one, best way to test it is to install it and leave the black wire unhooked, if it still doesnt work its bad
