Since the spindle bolts are "goners" anyway, you should invest in a longer breaker bar, to make it easier for you to snap those bolt heads off. I was cringing, each time you snapped one off. I could just see busted knuckles and blood !!!!

My mower threw that drive belt today. The belt is wedged between the two pulleys and I can't get it to free up. Do you think I will need to take the pulleys apart to free the belt ?

It threw up the oil ( dinner) 😮

Too much oil as the culprit huh? I kinda thought so, or oil getting caught in the carburetor would've been my other guess. It can happen and lead to smokiness. I wonder if the carb got affected? I noticed a tad bit of surging when you went back and checked on the mower. Or maybe I was just hearing things. Wonder if the valves needed to be adjusted as well? Okay, I am saying a bit too much, but another good video Mr. Doby.

I am a new subscriber and stumbled onto your channel a few days ago. As soon as I heard you talk, I knew you were a Georgia boy. I live in Griffin just a little south of you. Love your vids!

My daughter has one of these Toro's. Electric start. Works great until you turn it off to empty the bag or just take a break. Go to start it up, just cranks. Wait about 30 mins and it takes right off. So, I bought another one just like it. I replaced both with brand new carbs. Same thing with both of them. Almost like it's choking it self out.

Carburetor won't keep it from cranking!!! But it will keep it from starting.

gr8 fix there, I have seen on a old Murray where the pinion gear slide pin went missing and I had to fabricate one from a machine screw I cut off ( one wheel turned the other didn't)

I bought a used cub cadet CC30H that was only two years old from a neighbor. Unfortunately, the seat started to move around and I realized it only had one adjustment screw at the very middle back of the seat. But It looks like it should have had two other knobs. I've called all over trying to find these replacement nuts and knobs, but no luck. Cub cadet said they would sell me a whole new seat for $389. No way will I pay that.

Whenever you have a belt issue with these John Deere, always change the Idler wheels. They are inexpensive and won’t fry the drive belt.

Tom I was watching a channel called is it worth it and he was talking about new lawnmower blades from the manufacture and were not sharp they were dull. He said the blades come that way. I did not know that. he said to sharpen new blades. did you know that. just FYI. You crack me up have a good day

Good job on that old Honda Tom. There is a mounted bearing oneach side of the deck that the drive axles go thru that might need some strikehold on. The axles rust up there and cause a d bind/drag. It is especially noticable when pulling it backwards. If you find that part number for the tool to take the fuel line clamps off, please share it. I hate them honda clemps.
