Was pretty cool Thoan! If you haven't ridden the self-driving bus yet, there is no reason to go far to ride it though haha. Just kind of a "do once if you are in the area" thing. Stay warm out there eh!
Please keep these coming, I love them! Makes me want to go to Korea and your wife is a delight and love her insights! I’m fascinated with the different Korean street food vendors too so feel free to put more food stops in if ya want. Or even those little obscure stores within the markets.
Haha that's awesome Alex! It's so much fun walking around checking them out. Seems like they are still relatively busy for now, but I'm curious who will take over because the average age in there is pretty old.
Thanks a lot @sharonthaxton5921! Apparently they are doing self-driving night buses in Seoul right now as well when the subways close (still testing phase though). Will be really interesting to see how many they start using!
Hey Linus thanks a lot and stay warm! I think the self-driving buses are supposed to help out at night time when the subways close. Would be cool to have them driving you all over the city! Hope all is well man!
This is my favorite area of Seoul and quickly changing--a lot of the tiny mechanical shop owners are retiring and no one wants to pick up the trade (they told me). I love all the little shops near Sewoon Sangga, and all the little restaurants in those tiny alleyways. You can also see people running drinks and lunch between the shops. I can tell you when a non-korean speaking white tourist showed up there they were a little surprised. :D The roof of the electronics market is great too.
@LB20278 thank you so much! We are growing way faster than we ever expected right now which is pretty crazy! Really lucky to have so many people stopping in and watching these days!
That's right, you couldn't film cause they don't want any potential bad publicity... One bus on a simple route... Sort of disappointed you complied... For me, the whole random selection is lame... It may be interesting for you, but thre is no anticipation for the viewers.. I think you need to bring more genuine adventure back into the format... Sorry for the negative vibes... I like your wife's greater input in these newer videos....That's a bonus...
Sorry to hear you feel that way @aletheia3. We can't make everyone happy with every video idea we have, but to be honest with you this series has gotten the most positive feedback out of anything we've ever done, and it's genuinely really interesting and exciting for us to explore this way as a couple to find new places around Seoul that we have never seen before and share them with others, so we will continue to do this for a bit. However, not all of our videos will be like this just so you know. In the future we have plans to walk around the coast of Korea and explore the countryside, but we have to wait until the weather gets warm enough in the Spring to camp (it's -14°C as I'm typing this right now), as it's extremely expensive staying in motels every night along the way. Stick around if you are interested, and all the best!
Interesting! I watch the channel @YHJJ He uses roulette very actively. And by the way, this adds some interest to the video and an element of the game. Keep going😉✌️
Thanks a lot Denis! Haha actually we have been watching a lot of @YHJJ's videos recently and that gave us the inspiration to do this "random travel" type thing. Will have to give him a shout out because his videos are amazing!
@2GoodLookin the kimchi jjigae meal was 11,000 KRW each, but we didn't eat in the markets that day. I haven't eaten at Gwangjang Market since about 2015 I don't think haha as I prefer the cheaper and quieter markets!
Thanks!
Wow thanks so much again @dericmpark8381! You are spoiling us! Haha really appreciate the support! Hope all is well!
Another great find! I'm guessing Yujin has tons of cool photos. Cheers!

Thanks a lot @laurensalviani6484! Will try to put more street food and little shops as well in the future too!
Love this series! We also do this with our boys for fun. A great way to explore and find new places.
Thanks so much @itslynzee! It's such a great way to explore, and makes the adventure even more worth it when you find some cool places!

Nice day of exploration!
I used to spend DAYS meandering through the alleys of Busan. All those tiny hardware and electronics shops were really cool!

It's a really fun and exciting area to check out eh! Hope that it doesn't disappear too fast as it has a certain character that no other place has!
Watching again, enjoying this video more the second time around. Seems like a fun day, whether resident or tourist.
Thanks a lot for watching again @Mudskipper9876! It was definitely fun to explore around an amazing area in Seoul!

So how much did you pay for all the food?
