In one short video, we get to see the invisible that comes forth from the heart of Korea…friendliness, helpfulness, humility, respect and unity. Thank you Matt and Yujin for stepping out and being there to see, sense and feel the beauty of a simple life.
Thanks a lot Mom! There's a lot of beauty to see in this world that is hidden and often very close to us! Can't wait to keep exploring and share some of that beauty with others!
Thanks so much Cheye! Glad you enjoyed the video! We'll keep exploring random stations around the Greater Seoul Area as it's really fun to do as well! 건강하세요! 😁
Personally, this is one of my favourite videos you’ve done. Something special about finding joy in places and people around you. And I loved the little interactions and commentary. Just wanted to share this feedback, hoping it encourages you to make more. Until next time!
Thanks so much for the feedback and nice comment @TheManyManyMore! Totally agree that there is so much to see around us, and we can appreciate it a lot more without too many expectations. We will keep doing these videos too, as they are really fun to do!
It's pretty awesome what you can find when you just go and randomly explore eh! I like your book idea too! That would be an awesome photo book with little stories to go along with the photos.
Hi guys, I have to say that I concur with the others here. That was a great video and a brilliant way to keep discovering and exploring simple. It reminded me of our last few days in Seoul before flying back home. Heading out without too much of an agenda, just seeing what could be found on the hoof. Looking at your video makes me wish that my front door opened in Korea. Keep up the good work. Kind regards Leo
Hey Leo, thank you so much! Seoul is a wonderful place to explore, because no matter what direction you head in there will always be something there. Hope you can make it back to Korea some day to do some more exploring too!
Hey Matt and Yujin - really enjoyed watching this! Nice to see a YT video providing such detailed info on a quieter neighborhood. Also definitely appreciate that slice of history regarding the 4.19 Student Revolution. Looking forward to more!
Hey @FlavorofMind thank you so much! It was interesting to learn a bit more details about the 4.19 Revolution. We'll try to make a bunch of similar videos for the future too!
This is a phenomenal video, thank you so much. My first time seeing this channel, really well done. I'm in my later 30s and remember scenes like this from visiting my mother's family in Seoul, Gimpo, and Busan in the early 90s
@jkang7265 thank you so much for the kind words! I wish I could have seen Korea in the early 90s. It sounds like it would have been really interesting!
@ALEX-cs6vo I wish I could have seen it back then! Seoul has changed so much in certain areas, so it's nice to go for a little trip to the past sometimes!
Thanks for this new video! I enjoyed it so much because this is how I like to discover places when I'm traveling, going somewhere without knowing or expecting anything. Each day, each place can become an adventure. 계속해서 우리를 여행으로 데려가서 동영상으로 우리 꿈을 꾸게 해주세요!
Thanks so much @robertblue3795! I can't imagine what Korea was like in the late 70s. It must have been a completely different country than it is right now. Wish I could go back in time and see it! That's interesting that it was similar to this as well.
Thanks so much Howard! Happy you like the formula and the content! We spent almost a month not exploring and just editing informational videos, which are good from time to time, but it's a lot more fun to explore and have fun! Will continue to make a lot more of these videos in the future. Hope you have an amazing week!
Thanks so much @misscaroline542! Glad to hear that you like this style. We'll keep on making more similar videos, as this is quite easy and fun for us to make as well!
Thanks so much for the kind words @pitch-black2530! We'll keep making videos just like this one for the time being, and no plans to stop UA-cam anytime soon! Fighting!
@MarkOliver-p4i I don't think they do it anymore because it's dangerous. I only saw it one time on my way to Sokcho during Chuseok in 2013, and they were selling drinks in coolers too from what I remember.
Im looking at Yujin's shoes, can you tell me what brand are you wearing Yujin. I guess i don't need snow boots. I know there will be a lot of walking so I have walking shoes but not for cold weather. Cold here is around 60s! 😂 Im going to Seoul in February, I'm from California & not used to cold. Any tips?
She's wearing Asics running shoes in this. In February it'll definitely be cold (between 23° and 41°F mostly), but it doesn't snow that much in Seoul normally so you won't need snow boots. As a Canadian, I'd recommend some nice wool socks to keep your feet warm, and then I'd pack an inner layer for upper and lower body (heat tech stuff from Uniqlo is great for this), a winter jacket with insulation of some sort, or if you just have an outer shell then get a small puffy jacket that can go inside your jacket shell (North Face makes good ones). Make sure that your outer layer is good at blocking wind and you'll be solid. Have an amazing trip!
I really love hearing both English and Korean in your videos ! It makes for a great study tool :)
Hey @meganjordanlee8549 thanks for the comment, and that's a great idea to study along!

Thank you for this new Video. I found it very interesting and it shows that you don't always have to travel far.
Please more of this ❤
Thanks so much @chaotenmaedel! Will keep making these types of videos! Also agree that you don't have to go far to find interesting things.
Mind-blowing discoveries! I feel like there's a "Hidden Seoul" coffee-table book just waiting to be written... Maybe by you two :-)
It's pretty awesome what you can find when you just go and randomly explore eh! I like your book idea too! That would be an awesome photo book with little stories to go along with the photos.

Thanks. that was a fun and informative watch.
Thanks so much @DarkMatter1962!
Love that social interaction at 2:50 😄 … better than anything Google Maps could ever offer!
It's pretty awesome talking to the older people here @Leei! They are very approachable, and extremely helpful! Really fortunate to live here.
@@lostthenfound I just recently discovered your channel and very happy that I did! Please keep making videos, you’re on to something!
@@Leei thanks so much for all the kind messages! Will keep trying to make interesting content for as long as possible!

Thanks so much for the nice words @knafice! It was a really cool neighbourhood for sure! We'll keep making these videos too!
As usual another nice video my friend. That last stand where your girl bought the Hotteok had all three of my favorite Korean snacks. 🥰😍
@2GoodLookin thank you so much! Those are definitely some of the best Korean street food snacks you can get!
These are the types of places I love in Korea. You two travel around Korea like I do!
There are a lot of things to see here eh @G2Star! Definitely a great place to explore!
I love these Seoul exploration videos! They make me really miss living there!
Thanks a lot Kevan! Wish you still lived around here to explore a bit more!
You guys make an awesome couple!

Only just started watching the video, but the random number generator way of exploring is really good 👍.
Hey @ONCEbittenTWICEshyshyshy thank you so much! It's a great way to see some places we would have never went to otherwise for sure!
I loved this so much. This is how I like to travel, actually. I was happy to see you enjoy yourselves too. ❤

It's a great way to explore eh Thoan! Hope all is well!
Thank you both for being real. I hate influencers, but love educators. You show me off the beaten path adventure.
