Never get tired of seeing drunk sun baked beef jerky pullin up to the docks.
To be fair when the ramp is busy it makes sense to have fenders on both sides. You don’t know what side opens up.
I must be old school, I was always taught to scoot over and catch a line from a docking boat, boaters helped each other years ago. having help with a line makes docking so much easier.
I've been boater for 40 years and this stuff is amusing......its a thrill to watch!

10th street boat ramp in Sarasota is a great place for laughs every Saturday and Sunday. I don't know why but that ramp is always packed with tin horns.

Hi guys, questions for the comment section. I've never been to Haulover regata area. How do you hook up to the side of the boats where the people are in anchored in rows for the parties? Must you know the people or do people politely ask to join and anchor with them side by side??

Here in the Puget Sound / Seattle area, virtually every boat ramp has floating docks that rise and fall with the tide. It's so odd to me to have people needing to climb or be pulled up to a dock from the boat.

The ramp is slick. The ramp is always slick. Is it made out of something innately slick? Has anyone ever tried to clean it off? I'm not talking anything industrial, just some vinegar & a giant broom - one unoccupied ramp at a time. I'm obviously missing something here... 🤔
