Love these videos. Reminder for everyone out there that state boat registration numbers don't use the same abbreviations as the postal service. Well, most of them are the same but there are some differences. MS is Massachusetts on boats. MI is Mississippi and MC is Michigan. These abbreviations predate the postal service, but regardless it would have been nice if there had been some alignment on them. The other boat state prefix outliers are CF for California, CL for Colorado, DL for Delaware, HA for Hawaii, KA for Kansas, WN for Washington, and WS for Wisconsin. If someone else already posted this info, awesome.

I can’t agree that the guy on his 5th attempt was respectful at docking. He left the helm when he got the boat in the vicinity of the dock and started getting his lines ready. Drive that boat in there properly and you won’t need to throw lines 25 feet. Lol. Enjoying the Miami boat ramps videos.
Bayliner guys, ties a knot on the cleat. Classic!! Miami is a different world. Out here in Cali, We prep the boat before we hit the ramp. We get the coolers, the bags, and food on the boat. We then tie lines on our cleats, drop the fenders (I mean, that is what they are for). Straps off, plug in, blower on. When we are launching, there is someone at the helm. While we are on the trailer and before we release the boat we make sure that the boat runs, let her warm up. When we get back, we drop the truck driver on the dock, back out the boat and wait safely away from all the morons. Then, the trailer guys drops the trailer just right. Power on the trailer, crawling the boat up the rails. We tie the bow hook, and off we go. Whole process last 10 min. Hanging out on the boat ramp preparing your boat for departure or arrival would get you killed in San Diego, Ca. Miami doesn't believe in dock cleats do they? I mean, there are lot safer than wrapping the line on the post of faith. Great videos, some day I will go out there an just hangout! Thanks for the laughs.

The level of boating skills an oblivious to the knowledge of operating a boat is amazing to me. Only people I would even think about getting in a boat with is the coast guard. Im surprised 4 or 5 people aren't severely injured at this place every day.

It would add some suspense for the viewer as to whether or not each attempt is going to be a FAIL or WIN... kinda like what you you on Haulover inlet. But to be fair... the WINS and the FAILS have to be filmed on the same day with like conditions. Keep them coming!!!
At 07:20, maybe it's my unfamiliarity with outboards (I've only owned jet boats) but isn't getting onto the boat in the back anti-evolutionary when the outboard is running?
I don’t know how we have come to film boaters park. Yes, you might have a laugh or two but is it really come to this. Its like having that nosey neighbor that’s just waiting to see what your up to 😳😳
So often all you have to do is look at the boat & you just know that they are going to do something entertaining. Jet skis & entry level bow riders need a camera on them full time. So many of them totally unprepared for docking. No fenders out. No lines out & attached to a cleat. Lines in a jumbled mess. Not one of them ever heard of looping a stern line around a pile, tie off to boat, put boat in gear & let it pull itself into the dock & keep itself there till a bow & spring are on. Then there is the leap of faith by drunk people. Good thing this is not New England water.

I watched a guy pull his boat out of the water last summer, forgetting to lift up the lower unit on his I/O, he must have wore a 1/2” off the skag dragging it up the ramp for 75’ 😳
Towed around a 24’ “Donzi wannabe” on a 4 wheel trailer with a Dodge Dynasty 4 cylinder. (Company car)... never swamped the car but had to be towed up the ramp numerous times. The memories!!!
hello i am from Norway and i am very surprised to see captain is the first man who is jumping of the boat before they stop stop engine. They can take the boat to the dock with the engine and not use rope before they stop engine. If you do like this in Norway the boat are gone his way.
Can I tell you I just love your new boat ramp channel with the narrating. We don’t get to go to boat ramps anymore since we are on the water now and I really do miss them just for the mind blowing entertainment.

It's so simple, bow on dock, reverse puts you on the dock or stern line on dock, forward puts you on the dock.
