When I load into a simulator it won't let me fly like I normally do, followed the video to a t, all I did was edit the ones you have edited. But when I go in simulator to pull up and down like I would in arcade I just fly straight
So the pitch and yaw are for flying in sim. Mouse aim is for air rb and ab. For sim I disable the enable axis keys on pitch and yaw so I don’t have to hold them down the whole time.
Okay, thanks that makes more sense 🤣 I'm trying sim, so I copied this all and was like why this so hard. Also any tips for better aim in sim? I'm using older planes playing a story mission and this aim is horrid
You one of the few people that would actually even help anybody most people on this game don’t give a shit to help anybody cause they’re pretty much scared if somebody gets good it will take away from their kills I would love to learn some basic skills from you one on one in a game. I have not been able to play top-tier jets I’ve been playing this game since it was first released so it’s very frustrating. I can’t land one long range missile. I can’t even hit somebody with a heat seeker. I couldn’t hit somebody with a missile. I ran up and threw it at them.
23:19 I’m sure it’s been said by now but the head movement especially up and down is important for sim because the nose of the plane makes it very hard to see the target especially if you are on their tail trying to lead shots in some props

Friend, I'm going to start playing WarThunder but I wanted to start with a suitable configuration and I was recommended your video. I started today, is your setup too advanced for new players? I copied and entered the tutorial and I had no success with its configuration, did I miss something?
If you are new to the game your probably best off learning how the game works for like a week and then switching some stuff over slowly. Since you’ve already setup all my stuff you can save that controls preset, and then make a new default so you can come back to mine later.
Hey sorry for the blunt question and you probably get asked this a lot… Bur I have been wanting to play this game for years even after I got my ps5 but I can’t even get past the flight tutorial because all my controls got deleted and won’t allow me to fly my plane. So I’m just wondering if these controls will help me fix all that so I can finally join the grind and play this game!!!
I hated top tier jets because I had to hard to locking on to people so I'm switching to your radar controls and it makes a world of difference now it's all just memorizing it and converting the ps buttons to xbox
When I try to bind my ps4 controller buttons it’s not recognising the actual button I’m pressing. For example, when I press any direction on the d-pad it doesn’t register that I’m pressing anything. And when I press X, it will bind that I’m pressing down on the d-pad. What am I doing wrong. Need some help 🤦🏻♂️ being trying to figure it out for 2 hours now with no luck and it’s frustrating me to the max.

I'm new to the game...I've played myself up to tier 4 planes but it's becomr such a pain to have a semi good match. I've got 3 fighter planes to play (4.3,3.7 and 3.0) but i just get dogged on as a console player. No matter how hard i try to turn in dogfights my maxed out fighter behaves like a bomber and will move like a snail at full throttle. And whenever i encounter an enemy i either get 1 hit that rips my plane in half or i'm behind an enemy and the bullets just seem to go through them or i need 5 normal hits before getting a critical one and then like 20 more hitmarkers before severe damage...but by then i'm dead most of the time because there are lile 10 enemys on my ass all of a sudden. Please any tips are welcome...i tried turning crossplay off but i dont find matches. I'd hate to stop playing cause the game was so fun the first couple tiers😂
I imagine a lot of people would appreciate this but at the same time I think people should set their own binds as they go because the kind of keybinds you want will vary person to person. Seeing your binds look way more complicated then mine but obviously we are different people and if we were to swap I imagine we’d both struggle although given the complexity of yours I imagine I’d struggle more
Honestly wonderful settings vid and Im gonna use these since I don't have some of these controls. My issue is looking around with HMD because I can't seem to look around as the box doesn't follow and I wanna know if you've experienced this as well?
I mean it’s hard for me to figure out something that works for you but, I would keep in mind for Flares (Flick Up) you will be using that constantly so make it easy and simple.
is it possible on ps5 to move HMD radar box without the jet moving like on pc? Usually I have to move my jet’s crosshair in order to move the HMD causing the jet to turn as well
Ffs why is there so much bs in the settings? I’m on Xbox and I can’t make any sense of these settings or bindings, why if we are on console are we using mouse pointer? It just doesn’t make any sense to me
wth is aerobatics smoke, why do you claim its the most important one just to go on without giving any hints whatsoever, why is a bit of smoke that important that you would spend a very valuable button to it?
It’s not important I’m just being an idiot 😂 I set it to R3 when I first started playing so I’ve just kept it as that forever. But there’s no harm in changing it to something else on your setup.

Like I said you don’t have to add them all at once. Add them slowly over the course of a couple weeks.

Sounds like PlayStations issue. Maybe try seeing if there’s a software update or try resetting the console.

Mouse aim is just the circle you move with your joystick for your plane to fly to
i cant turn with the settings
Make sure the enable axis is bound on pitch/yaw and all of your mouse aim is in check
