why do people care about the f18 soo much, yea cool new vehicle but the only thing people are gonna do in it is spam ammrams, f117 is ok not crazy only 2 bomb drops, su34 is going to be the next best russia ground attacker since every other nation has extremely powerful ground attackers so its only fair

F18 is miles overdue, the F117 is cool and all but obviously has no place in warthunder, they cant even be bothered to balance regular bombers let alone one whos only defence is stealth

"stealth" wont really work with RB battles, with how many fur balls there are it's gonna fucking suck. Unless you play sim

it has never been confirmed that the f-117 carried AAMs so it is kinda useless in air rb (unles they give it ir missiles seeing as it lacks radar as it was tested with them) but in ground battles it could be really usefull for bombing with the lasrer guided bombs. you might not be able to look it with radar or IR (it was built to have as small of an radar cross section as possible and to have as small of a heat signature as possible) but an enemy aircraft will kill it no problem. it is also subsonic and has very poor manuvering which makes it a sitting duck for anything flying. plus it will be a good test bed for how to implament stealth in wt. so its gonna be more of a gimick then a new meta plane. plus they are running out of aircraft to add (exept ofc the F-18) and stealt will have to come in like 2 years max.

of course they'll add over powered stuff the russia and US but nothing for germany

They're just throwing vehicles out that will attract new players... and payers. In my opinion it would be better for them to work on the game mechanics (air rb ec anyone?, when was the last time anyone used a carrier?), weapons and balance(giving all countries viable meta vehicles, which might be impossible because if all are meta then none are meta)

The F-117 is kinda interesting because: 1. It makes sense as the first stealth aircraft in game as a sort of test 2. If you BR it by armaments it'll mostly face IR-missiles 3. If you BR it by stealth the armaments aren't that impressive

We do have subsonic version of F/A-18 complete with the actual radar in game, probably just the devs don't want to agree F/A-18 is better than any planes in game or coming in the future in every possible way.

US is getting a stealth bomber and Strike Eagle, Russia is getting a Strike Duck, meanwhile in Germany we only have a Tornado and a F4 that use two mav’s. Why does Gaijin do this to Germany :(

If memory serves me correct, the only major update left this year is the winter update. I think its pretty safe to assume that the F18 will be releasing during the winter update. The winter update is also most likely when we'll be getting the SU34 and F15E, as i don't see Gaijin pulling a suprise "here guys random major update between the normal fall and winter updates this year". In otherwords, i would assume we're getting the F15E and the F18 at the same time, not even further in the future like you assume. With that out of the way, I don't really see an issue with the new vehicles. In all honestly the F117 will most likely be a gimmick vehicle, and people will buy it expecting it to be incredible but by the time the excitement wears off, theyll realise that war thunder top tier doesnt really have a good spot for bombers in general. But it will also definitely be used as a test platform for Gaijin to test out stealth mechanics in game to see how both how they could potentially function, and how the general player base responds to them (as a reminder, this same leaklist suggested that gaijin is currently planning out and in early testing of how exactly they want to do stealth fighters like the F22, and the f117 would be a great way to test mechanics and player response.) As for the F15 and SU34, while I don't really know how much better the f15 is from prior variants, and what kind of advanced weapons the SU34 is armed with, I can't imagine them to be a whole lot different from what GRB normally faces, and I can't imagine either of them will be more lethal in ARB than the normal F15 or the SU27

i dont see this as a big deal at all. The F18 is one of the "stars" of the year just like the F15 and Flanker were last year, they will be adding it in December and thats fine. it may not be as relevant, but that doesnt change with the upcoming update. it should've been added in June or August.
