RECIPE:
Homemade Pico de Gallo! (Great on Tacos and Chips!)
Dice up 2 cups of Roma tomatoes (about 4)
Remove the seeds from the tomatoes.
Dice up 1 cup of sweet onions.
(you can use red onions if you like)
Finley chop 1/2 cup Cilantro
Mix all 3 in a bowl then add:
1/2 tsp. chopped Jalapenos
Juice from 1/2 of a lime
1/2 tsp. minced garlic
1/2 tsp. of Kosher salt.
Mix well and then let set for
30 minuets in the fridge then serve!
Enjoy!

Yes the jalapeño seeds have some heat, but the real heat is in the silvery skin, on the inside of the jalapeño. Scrape this off and you can almost eat it like a bell pepper.
I dislike cilantro intensely, but down here on the border (at least in my part) it usually doesn’t get chopped any finer than what Steve did here. And a lot of times there isn’t much less!😂

I bought jalapeño peppers at the store to make poppers and they hardly had any heat after seeding them, disappointing.

Why did you take the seeds out of the tomatoes
He didn’t want the texture of the seeds and not to be as watery.
