More like people in England hardly watched him in spain or germany but assumed hes a zidane regen from all the goals he scored. They then watched him at the euros and realised hes nothing special. They also realised hes arrogant and not the person his PR team has built up
You saying the truth, man. People believe that being humble and modesty make you successful, but the most of the time the impudence and being the best at what you do are the reason of success. Jude got massive amount from both of these two things. His arrogance is totally justified.

@@DeeEditor1 mid used to describe someone "overrated". Its either overrated or underrated. Nothing between. The football community will eat you alive if you say Jude or Yamal is fairly rated
I think some people are just jealous of him. I mean, he's quite literally a golden boy. I love Bellingham personally, I've always loved his mature character. He does have his poor games here and there but come on, even Messi and Ronaldo had their fair share of poor games. I think Bellingham will go far in his career.
Because he's handled fame so well, and because of his quality, we forget he only turned 21 the day before the Slovakia game. He lacked a little professionalism in that moment (with both 'who else' and the crotch thing) but the pressure we put on the lads to perform was immense, can't imagine what was going through his head when he went for a bicycle kick in that moment. He accepted his fine quietly, hopefully a learning experience. Support our young talent, they want to turn up for us.
The "crotch" thing wasn't the first time he did it. He has done it after a Madrid game before and he even said it's an inside joke with friends who came. Also, simeone and Ronaldo are all praised when they make such reactions after winning an important game. It doesn't make it less professional.
@@lawrencepatterson2728i mean Cr7 beating atletico in a comeback. Simeone beating Ronaldo is a bit different from Juggernaut England barely beating an underdog Slovakia imo.
Simple. Hating on Bellingham is a new trend. They say they hate Vini because of his behaviour on the pitch. What has bellingham done on the pitch to hate him? He always talks maturely in interviews and rarely does anything bad on the pitch. Then why hate him? Because of the media hype? If that's so, then that's stupid because Jude can't do anything about any of the english or whatever media that is hyping him. There is also unnecessary hate from most clubs because they also have youngsters in their squad who are not getting much recognition like - Arsenal have Saka, City have Foden, Chelsea have Palmar, Bayern have Musiala etc.. so these fans will probably hate on Jude because currently he's at top in terms of acheivements and hype among youngsters.
It's like people only like people for a certain period of time and then when that same person gets successful, they start getting hate. Breeds of jealousy
Madrid fan Here. To start of I love Jude, definitely a generational talent. Though hating on his success is part of it, I think the main problem is the media(especially english) overhype his performances. I watched most of Real La Liga games and watched Jude in Dortmund and I think he was a better player or had more impact in the game in Dortmund, I know Carlo uses him differently last season due to them not having a striker but still his impact for a midfielder in Madrid games was barely there, I could only remember a few games where he was really playing the way he did in Germany. Due to those performances ppl feel he doesn't deserve the hype his getting despite his stats, especially when you compare to his team mates who had a better season like Vini. But I hope Mbappe arrival and Kroos leaving will give Jude a chance to shine in what I believe is his best position which is the 8
I appreciate your insight mate, it will be truly fascinating to see how Real Madrid sets up with all the incredibly talented players they have next season
I feel like this is an insane statement to make??? He was tired the last few months but he's been incredible for the team, especially in la liga, this statement seems absurd
Bro what? Do you watch every game? He had the most passes into the final third by any Madrid player…. Bro what are you serious rn? He was insane for us. 97th percentile for possession isn’t he midfield third, 97th percentile in blocks, more interceptions than rodri! Saved us 8 times this season with last minute winners!!! Played CAM first half of season and played box to box others and put up defensive masterclasses!! Player to win the ball the most in the final third of any Madrid player. Ur insane bro. He’s proven to be the difference maker for us and is class every game, elegant and ruthless at the same time
Also English media shits on Jude, Spanish media is the one who hyped him the most and even after the euros, they said “Jude couldn’t do it alone.” They still respect him out there, because they actually watch him play week in week out.
@@Vizeh Because of Barcelona fans lol they are the ones hyping the Euros because their team went trophyless and the overhype of a 17 yrs old is insane the pressure is bad I fully believe the hate Jude gets is from those Barcelona fans and every fan of a club Madrid destroyed before they are just pity look how they are saying Rodri ballon d'or when they could've done it last year when he actually won a UCL they are just doing these stuff so no Madrid player can win it actually disgusting
8:25 Ego is not only justified by getting the best out of you, but people must be honest that any human being at that level, in any sport or discipline, would have an ego, it’s natural. People who hate on humble ego are giving the vibe of people that peaked in high school.
Like Ronaldo and Mbappe don’t have egos lol. Very well put, he needs to have an ego to have the ability to try the stuff he does. He was selected as the highest rated midfielder in the La Liga team of the season for 23/24.

That's not his fault, though, and every player at his level gets that.
The guy is a generational talent, who has achieved more at the age of 21 than a lot of players do over their entire careers. I wouldn't say that he is arrogant. When we heard media about the hopes for Bellingham long before the Euros, everyone in my family agreed on saying "Why do they hype up someone different every time just to be disappointed when he doesn't meet expectations?"
As a Dortmund fan myself I just really find it hard to accept that someone that was with us for 4 years, that we built from almost nothing, to then acting like he never played for BVB after the champions league final. He was smiling and laughing and didn't even console any of the teammates that he had the season prior to the UCL final when he was playing for us, and I was especially disappointed that he didn't even congratulate Marco Reus on a great career at Dortmund, something that even someone who hasn't played for Dortmund would do, I get he has moved on from Dortmund but I really just find it arrogant of him to just forget all the memories he's had at BVB after just one year. Its not even like he just lost his liking for Dortmund which by itself is bad enough based on how much we did for him, but its like has growing a DISLIKE for Borussia Dortmund. But I'm just generally disappointed at his ego and his arrogance which kind of go hand in hand.
@anwarjhalladi that is not true. I remember after England won the semi final that was played at BVB. Bellingham gave glowing tribute to Dortmund, saying that he will never forget BVB and how he respects Dortmund. See even how playful he was in the Champions League quarter final game with Haalland at Man City during the game. He clearly has a bond with his former colleagues at BvB.
Lmao mate wind your neck in. Was Bellingham born in Dortmund or was he a Dortmund youth product or something??? He just won the biggest match of his life and you're on his case for not congratulating the losing team. Get a grip.

Bellingham himself ain’t the problem with recent football, it’s the media, especially English and Spanish media making his performances in particular look godlike, even though he’s only 21, and the media are already taking advantage of his popularity and achievements, just have a look at what happened to Sancho when something similar happened when he became good at dortmund, same goes with Mainoo when Man Utd won the FA Cup, Haaland when he played for Man City after moving from dortmund, and now Yamal and Nico Williams being the best duo in Spanish football on their debuts at the euros, all of these players are unique in their own ways, just don’t let the media and pundits make these players look either godlike, good, bad, and terrible, i ain’t gonna be surprised if Jobe Bellingham will get something similar in the future, if he somehow goes to real madrid and plays alongside his brother, it’ll be interesting.

Kids online these days say anyone with a good season who they don't particularly like is "Overrated" despite only maybe watching them once or twice. He might not have had the best euros tournament but he definitely had one of the best club seasons.
Personally I think a big part of the problem IS having such good pr. Put on a pedestal with such high expectations, so if he isn’t the perfect golden boy who plays amazing from start to finish every time, then the gap between expectation and reality can become large enough for negativite judgment. Such harsh judgement of a 21 year old for having some below average (by his standards) performances is unbelievably ridiculous to me.
Remove the hype and noise, here's how I see Bellingham: On the pitch: Yes, he is kind of cocky and his celebrations can be a bit belligerent and arrogant (similar to dozens of other players). But he's a very good young player who's already achieved so much. Off the pitch: Seems like a really well-rounded guy, speaks well, and is respectful. Also big respect to him for being one of the very few English players who play abroad (I still don't understand why more players don't do this - it's not just about football quality and development, but hugely character-building).
The funny thing is, he is so appreciated outside of England, its not shoching to hear the hatred towards him, if he was playing in the prem he would have been the best thing since sliced bread in the english media, but because he is doing brilliantly for REAL MADRID... he is seen as arrogant 😂

Bellingham is like a modern Beckham. Great talent from a young age with high hopes from his coaches. Very mature (regarding football) showing a lot of passion and natural leadership on the field. People view this as arrogance (I would say this is fair, until he won the UCL lol). Beckham had haters, Bellingham has haters. He hasn't won over this Three Lions teammates yet because they haven't won anything together yet. This Euros was a chance, but Southgate let down all of England.
It's not Southgate. Everything happening to England is karma because of the unfair goal they had in the 1966 World Cup. Ever since then, things have fucked up badly for them
He adapted to a new role at Madrid where has required to score more when Vini was injured, went back to playing deeper and letting Vini take over when he returned from injury. Everyone loved him when he was scoring goals regularly and after he returned to his natural position, he suddenly sucks and is overrated? People are so reactionary. I also think there's a lot of jealousy too because the guy's well mannered off field and he looks good.
Honestly I love him, as an English person I think hes done great in the International picture and hes actually not hiding his emotions. Like if he disagrees with somet he'll say or show his physical disgust at someone's opinion and he taunts other players. Which at the end of the day isn't arrogance, it shows hes competitive and wants to actually play and do well. So when people say that hes arrogant, maybe he is, maybe he isnt but hes pretty down to earth
Honestly, the problem with Jude is with the English. They can't quite accept that their biggest star left the "supposedly" best league to play abroad. He also loses with the national team and wins with Real Madrid.
Well as a Slovak I can't like him for what he did after scoring that goal agianst us, and claiming it was an inside joke. And I don't think I'm mental.
i dont dislike him i just hate how the announcers glaze him so hard and make everything about him even though he has such a strong supporting cast around him, but i still think he is an amazing player.
Honestly I think it might be jealousy. People don’t like that Bellinghams career almost seems too perfect so they’ll jump to critique every tiny flaw of not just his game but him as a person. It’s just sad.
Most overhated player in the world. I find it baffling that everyone is just glossing over the astounding season this lad has had at just the age of 20. You’ve never seen a 20 year old come to Madrid and do what he did, EVER.
Where on earth is Foden's criticism. This guy won the best player in the greatest league in the world, and bro ain't getting any smoke. At least Bellingham scored. This guy played every match and scored zero, ZERO! Palmer has more goals than him, and he only played 30 mins of football the entire tournament. Like dude. I think Bellingham is a very good player but this is such a bad take, almost sounds like you haven’t done any research and jumped to his defence. Some of the hate is unwarranted but so is a lot of the glazing… like this video. That’s the type of stuff people have a problem with, no balance. He has a bad game you can’t criticise him without being called a hater, it’s almost as if people are in love with the man and not the footballer. Also a 20 year old behaving like veteran won’t help either and can be seen as arrogance in a negative way.
@@p1onyoutube135 You say your opinions are just what you "THINK", but you word it like you're saying "YOU'RE WRONG AND I'M RIGHT". Bellingham is someone who looks like he's gonna become one of the best of his generation. On another note, nobody's personality "shifts" from national leagues and international tournaments. You would of saw him gesturing his "UP YOURS TO THE CRITICISERS" (who are COMPLETELY justified in criticising England's tactics) in the game against Slovakia, that's because the likes of GARETH SAFEGATE and others in there were telling the players "Whenever we somehow score a goal, make a gesture dismissing the criticism as rubbish to make us look good". Even those with one of the best squads we've ever seen are going to have bad games way more often if THEY ARE NOT COACHED PROPERLY. Yes, great players can still have bad games under superb coaches, however it will happen significantly less often because they are actually coached properly. Yes you might come across ass lickers that will say anything to defend their hero, but unfortunately, that's the day and age we live in. On a final another note, isn't it concerning that the "certain" selection of players that are the most hate for "THEIR PERSONALITY" are (mostly) people of colour? The bloke in the video "B" criticising Bellingham immediately defends themselves saying "I have no agenda and this post isn't motivated by hate" is probably lying to defend their good and harmless name, unless there are things that I have missed. Alarm bells ringing?
Anybody saying he’s bad or even overrated either haven’t watched him this year, or are being deliberately ignorant. He’s been unbelievable, and he is always stand up in every interview. Sure he can sometimes be arrogant on the park but you need that to reach that level in a competitive sport. He’s also just a young guy, being a young guy. Folk hating are just jealous as too many now can’t stand to see others find success while they have none
I really disliked the "who else!" Thing he did after scoring. That's something other people say, not yourself. Comes off as "well, it wasn't going to be be any of my teammates rescuing us, was it?"
The hate came with him moving to Madrid. I find it very weird how when he was at Dortmund he was loved and adored, but once he takes the next big step people start hating him. Seems like football fans just love clubs like Dortmund, Atletico Madrid, Bayer Leverkusen and Roma just for the simple fact that they are seen as underdogs. The fact is that Jude wouldn't had won anything with Dortmund, people don't like him because he left the so called "underdog"

Because he's handled fame so well, and because of his quality, we forget he only turned 21 the day before the Slovakia game. The "crotch" thing wasn't the first time he did it. He has done it after a Madrid game before and he even said it's an inside joke with friends who came. Also, simeone and Ronaldo are all praised when they make such reactions after winning an important game. It doesn't make it less professional.

Love him or hate him, he’s accomplished more at 20 than most people will at 40 - and from what I’ve seen, he’s not any more arrogant than Haaland or Mbappe
And let’s be honest, if you have the time to sit and write such long tweets about a stranger - you need something better to do with your life
Bellingham is like a modern Beckham. This Euros was a chance, but Southgate let down all of England.
beckham was never this good at 20y old I think, bellingham already has 2 POTS in top 5 leagues at 20y old
It's not Southgate. Everything happening to England is karma because of the unfair goal they had in the 1966 World Cup. Ever since then, things have fucked up badly for them
@@BlueThanosMasterhe didn't deserve 1 of those POTS awards
I'm so glad this issue got clarified, people are just tearing a really talented player for the pettiest reasons
Big players always get hate no matter what and he is English which makes it worse
I do think the English part does play a factor as that is typically always linked with being overrated
Stop being a sensitive softie
As a brown lad i can tell you we see this coming a mile off..
i dont dislike him i just hate how the announcers glaze him so hard and make everything about him even though he has such a strong supporting cast around him, but i still think he is an amazing player.
The way he portrays himself does play a factor, having proper character does help massively to make him stand out
That's why I said that the English arrogant media are always bitter, toxic towards Non-English players, managers and Black English players.
I know I’m late but happy birthday mate.
Thank you mate!❤
Honestly I think it might be jealousy. People don’t like that Bellinghams career almost seems too perfect so they’ll jump to critique every tiny flaw of not just his game but him as a person. It’s just sad.
Most overhated player in the world. I find it baffling that everyone is just glossing over the astounding season this lad has had at just the age of 20. You’ve never seen a 20 year old come to Madrid and do what he did, EVER.
The El Classico clutch moments alone is insanity
You should dig into his time at Dortmund more. The squad was glad to see him move on, apparently he felt like he was above it all.
And sadly for Dortmund, he was lol. He is an elite player and they have been still fielding Reus for nostalgia I guess.
Like dude. Ivan Toney has more goal contributions than him, and I didn't even know he was on the plane. Dude is a system player, I honestly don't care what anyone has to say, foden is ass. Put him in another club outside of city and he's finished. Dude's the most systematic player I've ever seen in my life.
People just need something to complain about. Bellingham is worth the hype.
Imagine building someone up (rightly so) only to find the stupidest reasons to put him down. The dude is a kid still, let him live.
i’ve been subscribed for years and loved every video i’m all for the football analysis side of youtube… this might be one of the best videos you’ve ever made.
Insane videography it’s amazing
Much love ❤❤
I think Bellingham is a very good player but this is such a bad take, almost sounds like you haven’t done any research and jumped to his defence. Some of the hate is unwarranted but so is a lot of the glazing… like this video. That’s the type of stuff people have a problem with, no balance. He has a bad game you can’t criticise him without being called a hater, it’s almost as if people are in love with the man and not the footballer. Also a 20 year old behaving like veteran won’t help either and can be seen as arrogance in a negative way.
You are just haters
Nothing to hate on it’s just footballing opinions.
Oh but when Yamal say habla habla after scoring it fine ? Double standards get out of here 😂
Just like Varcelona negreira pr overrated merchant Pamal
Bro it's the adrenaline rush
Your prejudice is showing.
@@haikazumadesu36 what prejudice would that be
The hate came with him moving to Madrid.
Belligham, Saka and Rashford do have something in common (the same thing that Vini Jr also has)
I am a progressive minded POC. But this is complete waffle. Was Beckham black? Not everything is race related. Even if it is 5% of people, it doesn't bring down what the majority are saying.
@@LoCoAde87 rashford hate is not race and also not bellingham but sakas hate was crazy and vini literally had a figure of him getting hanged by rope bro and also calling him monkey a lot vini and saka deffo experienced racism but yeah bellingham and rashford not as big
Saying “who else” is sure arrogant but his arrogance definitely justifies, I mean he saved an entire nation with loads of people who believed their country could win the entire tournament against a team like Slovakia.I definitely think people aren’t being very smart.
100% agree with you. I think we need to turn the camera to Harry Kane, thats a tap in merchant
A player that scores 40+ goals a season consistently can’t be a tap in merchant, it’s like what people call Haaland
Or maybe not turn the camera on anyone at all?
Do you have to be so pathetic that you can't just enjoy the game, but instead just spend time criticising players?
@Vizeh I think he can if the majority of his goals are with in 12 yards and being fed by better talent. There's a reason he's 30 with no trophies and it's not a curse. And his England goals need a looking at too how many time do we play teams like San Marino, Moldova and Panama and beat them 5/6-0 ? Then add the nations league and qualifications for that and no wonder the guys beaten Shearer and Rooney for most goals scored.
Happy birthday for the other day, appreciate the reply 😄
I remember back in the day, Cristiano Ronaldo also getting these type of " full of himself " comments.
Jealousy creates hate 🤷♂️
Oh btw, I forgot to mention this, and you actually point this out; hateful content against Jude will generate social media engagement, so, in reality, he is not losing fans so much as online content creators are using his clout to generate responses and engagement.
Bro is losing his Pr 😢
With Mbappe next year, PR is the last thing he needs to think about haha
@@Vizeh that pr made him look like extraordinary

This is sad. Internet doing damage to those people that we as fans love to see is just sad. Jude Bellingham is the player that gave me the emotion I missed a few years before he arrived to Madrid (He's actually my favorite). I'm a big Real Madrid fan. I like Vini, Rodrygo, Courtois, yeah... but Jude made me fell in love with his game and personality. Ronaldo, Neymar, Zlatan and many others were big ego machines and they cooked such a beautiful era.
Pls guys, keep loving this amazing sport. Keep loving the guys who make us happy every weekend. Toxicity is not necessary.
Great video and sorry if I made any mistake, I'm not an english native speaker.
The louder the haters are, the further you've gone in your career. Messi and Ronaldo always had people booing them wherever they went, Bellingham is just climbing his way into the pantheon of all-time greats.
In fairness I don’t remember Messi booed all too much
@@Vizehwell, he did get booed by the PSG fans.
