It certainly would have been much more difficult to replicate his success on larger less developed asian countries but studying this man his words and his actions should be required for todays current and would be leaders. It would be sad if people like him only surface once in a lifetime.
There will only one LKY type of leader in a century. Spore is indeed blessed to hv him as PM layong foundations to become whatvshe is today. How sustainable is another question but certainly hos swiftness, firmness n clarity in thoughts and .in actions proved tt esp in Spore's formative years if not until the 2000s. The world has changed tremendously but his basic philosophy of Integrity n Hardwork with running this city state as one united people. He showed what Unity can be achieved with Diversity too ! Thabk you Mr Lee 🙏 🙇♀️ 😊
In snippets of Singapore history videos, I noticed that protection officer Mr Kandasamy was always more alert and on the ball than other officers. I wish I can meet him and shake his hand and express my gratitude for his dedication to protecting our FATHER.
He was truly a special, gifted man. His intellect, compassion, character and vision has taught many. He truly makes us, orientals proud.
A dynamic great man who work hard for his people of Singapore. Thank you Mr Lee. Missed you ❤

Without this man, none of us will be what we are today.
Rubbish
Beside LKY, they are others leaders like Goh Keng Swee, S. Rajaratnam, Toh Chin Chye and Lim Kim San helped to build up Singapore.
he's the meat patty among the dozen ingredients in the burger.
And Lim Bo Seng who famously fought against the Japanese against all odds
Othman Wok also ☝🏼
and LKY was actually working for the Japanese..
These men were the actual engineers. LKY was only the guy who had his signature on the paper.
Wrong person to praise.
Thank you CNA. It’s a very touching story about Mr. Lee, especially around 10:22, I heard the gentleman told to the reporter that he would rather lost his life to protect Mr. Lee.
I remember him, people, man. He deserved a great legacy. He should be remember, make a place for Mr Lee Kuan Yew and his wife. Good man should not be forgotten. Without him, there is no Singapore.
Definitely a great leader.
He loved SG so much.
Miss him......xx.
RIP
Thank you sir and the people who were working with him
My first assignment, as a "Roockie", Foreign correspondent, was to interview, then PM Lee Kuan Yew! What a life changing experience! I am forever grateful!

I recalled the cold and rainy day of Mr Lee's funeral...I was in a hotel in Manila, watching CNA on the TV in my room and following the funeral events in Singapore.
It was a moving experience for me even though I am not a Singaporean, to see thousands lining the streets where the hearse passed, bringing Mr Lee around Singapore on his final journey and to hear the people calling out his name.
While I do not agree with some of his policies and actions, I believe he truly believed that what did were for the best and betterment of Singapore and her people... truly a great leader.
We all miss ah kong very very much.
This was a great video, thank you!
I watch this from Romania. Really impressive. I hope that our two countries, Romania and Singapore will develop their relations and become closer to each other!
Lucky Singaporeans to have a man like LKY to lead them.
Aiyoh I cried lei watching this video 😭😭😭😭 ❤️❤️❤️LKY🙏🏻
It's such a touching tribute. I know, we love and miss Mr Lee dearly
Mr LKY - Most admirable, respectable, Intelligent, far sighted leader.
Truly miss him and eternally grateful to him for his contributions and love for his people. ❤
Good to educate the younger generations about how things came to be. & Singapore wouldn’t have come to be without this man for sure. Thank you sir, you are a product of hard times. Hence, there will never be another political figure like you.
I wish that this video or similar ones could be played in school during history lessons or national day, reminding the young generations of their part to continue Mr Lee's legacy.

The Mighty God, gave the late Mr. Lee Kuan Yew to Singaporeans, you all should and will be proud of Singapore. The word spoken or written Singapore or Singaporeans, the feeling of magic that Mr. LKY is around today and next hundreds of years.

A great man who shaped Singapore! Thank you Mr.Yew.
😂 another dumb idiot brainless comment. Mr Yew????😂
His family name is Lee. So it is Mr. Lee
Mr Lee the man!❤
I think this series of Lee Kuan Yew is one of the most amazing things a nation could do for its true leader. How about our dear Malaysia? Perhaps a documentary of 5 prime ministers in 4 years?
Brought tears to my eyes
I am so sorry to hear your lost your wife in such early year, I will remember your guidance.and do my best.
Lky was a great legend not only to Singaporeans but to everyone. There is this saying “ legends never die” his work and effort put in to create Singapore to what it is today I a lot
Singapore is so beautiful now.
Salute from nepal 🇳🇵
LKY is a great leader... But sad to say that no one in the Parliament today can compare with him...
Yes No One even comes Close bcz he is Only undiagnosed OCD case that filed White Papers against a sitting President & former Comrade to Humiliate & Disgrace Devan Nair & Family… Ironically, look at LKY’s Family now … Not even one LKY Trusted General dare intervene to Rescue LKY’s Reckless Kids in Lee Family Saga… KARMA
It is quite unfair to expect anybody else in Singapore or even in the world to measure up to Mr Lee Kuan Yew. That's like using Einstein as the benchmark to evaluate all scientists.
Different times require different kind of leader. For a first world country, a technocrat is actually more suitable
@@HKspurs10 Lee Dynasty coming to end soon , ironically by Own Reckless Family … KARMA 😊
I suppose it's hard to find anyone like him in the world. Peace.
Happy 16 Sep. The founder of Malaysia. LKY.
wow what a real bodyguard 9:45 you made TAMILAN proud

❤LKY forever
Wow this is a great video ❤
Beautiful leader ❤
Very good man
Sadly for Singapore, Mr. LKY could not live a thousand year. The nation moans and miss him
He already had said back in 1965, ‘I won’t be here, but his friends around him will BE here’
Legend.without lky no singapore.
Lee Kuan Yew aka the most feared dictator of Southeast Asia. And look how mighty SG is today. We need more dictators like LKY, the iron fist leader. "Smart dictatorship" is what developing countries need. LKY mastered this craft.
The greatest dictator who got away with alleged crimes = the legendary LEE KUAN YEW
Ok…. I cried at the end.
Other World leaders should follow the steps of LKY for a better tomorrow
Man of men... that's who LKY is
Inspiring ❤
