Mr Lee is hands down the wisest statesman and political entrepreneur in the world. The world sorely misses him.
I used to enjoy the flow of words and the absolutely necessary points, listening to LKY's speeches.
I always made myself available in front of TV to hear his speeches whenever he appear , along with another admirer,my husband since late 70s.

A man worldly wise. Singapore has the good fortune to have him at the most difficult time. He may not satisfy everybody, or make dealing with everybody fair, but he made Singapore stand out for the long term, and for the better of every Singaporean.. To me, He is GOD sent.

There are more economic incentives in Singapore to advance one's financial security by the bureaucratic career.
That is undeniable. But in a country where millionaires are abundant, pay your politicians appropriately as well. They got to take constant criticism and s h i t like yours constantly.
Run business as CEO hard to hit 7 figure salary unless top MNCs but ministers can get, theirs are easiest path hence why even do business. Study hard join govt.
