OMG I have to just say that these were SO GOOD!!! I made 2 small changes: subbed a combo of cocoa and coconut extracts for the vanilla extract, and used my "Disney mouse ears" egg molds for the batter. Made FIVE mini pancakes, and still have 2 left, LOL! I'll definitely be doing this one again!
OMG! My niece has those Disney mouse ear molds too! LOL!😆now i really wanna try these souffle pancakes but I can never get my egg whites to fluffy like a thick cloud! They just get a little bit foamy then fall flat. We're your egg whites at room temperature or cold straight from the frig?
@@vinessawess4401 I don't remember, lol! I pulled them from the fridge, but I think I had them out for a bit before making these. I just beat the whites with a hand mixer on high speed and they did get stiff, no problem. Good luck! 🥰
Thanks for always doing such great recipes! I love how you also give weights. I noticed you don't put your almond flour in the fridge. I was told that you need to keep it in the fridge. Any nuts or nut flour. I was told it would go bad really fast if you don't. How long does your's keep in your cabinet? Thanks! May the Lord continue to bless and protect you and your family

Q: Is the center still wet when they are done? The photo on the fork looked moist in the middle. I wondered if that’s what I was noticing?
Must have the rings. The batter oozed out of my DIY aluminium foil rings creating a large mountain of fluffy dough that just kept growing...that said the final product was actually pretty good. I'm still developing a taste for almond flour.
Joe I've never had regular Japanese pancakes, so I don't know how to compare them to the real thing when I try this recipe. But I could just tell they look amazing regardless. I'm sure you put a lot of time and effort researching and coming up with this recipe it's like I said it's looks totally worth it! Thanks bud ❤️🙂
Are they gritty? I've been trying keto pancakes and they are gritty enough where I have to have water to swallow them down? Nice video though, thumbs up 👍👍👍

recipe: 2 eggs separated in a bowl mix following to form a thick batter: 2 tbsp heavy cream 1/2 tsp vanilla 1/2 cup almond flour 3 heaping tbsp confectioner sugar SUBSTITUTE nice pinch of salt 1/2 tsp of baking powder beat egg whites until forms peaks. fold half of the egg whites into the batter, then the other half.

I wonder if people really tried this, or just like to watch? Because when I see how you 'mix the whites' into the batter, I don't believe it. You don't MIX meringue into batter, because it BREAKS its structure. What's the point of having stiff ends when you then deliberately ruin it with those ridiculous small and fast circular moves? You'll get the runny mess and the result will be the very opposite of fluffy. When you add the meringue into anything, you FOLD it, gently. If you don't know what 'folding' means and how to do it - look it up on youtube. >.>
Tricky to take video for finished cake .You should take shot video during you are cutting cake ! Never feeling or imagination from viewer this is fluffy or not .Might not be enough fluffy after all.

I hate this. I hate every possible Keto pancake recipe. No matter how finely ground the almond is, it will always create a texture that regular pancakes do not have. And then there's the inevitable egg taste. Ugh.

Keto users don’t use sugar, we use sweeteners such as swerve, mentioned in the video. Sugar in any form is a big no no.

I've never heard of these. Looks like a lot more work than regular pancakes, but I need to start shifting to this type of eating.
