Finally found time to install thanks to your video, what a difference! Thanks again. BTW mine was plug and play without adapter wires (22 f150 Lightning Pro)
Awesome!!! Glad it worked out
Do you have the B&O 8 speaker system in that car or do you have the stock system? If you have the B&O, how do they sound on the stock amp?
That's a neodymium magnet on the OEM speaker. They are quite powerful for their size. But yeah, yours is quite tiny.
Im going to do this for my 22 Lightning pro now, thanks for this vid!
That stinks, I can’t get them in the states….
You should... I got them from the states haha.
I would never want a electric truck 🤢🤢🤢
My 2022 xlt rear left speaker is already broke, it sounds horrible, I'm going to get this speakers thanks 👍
It's under warranty
Just did the upgrade thanks to your video. Big upgrade on the rears!
Agreed!
You’re talking about you can feel the bass now, my factory 21 f150 has a lot of bass in my opinion I just want clearer sound
Really good vide. I am also looking at a simple audio upgrade and this seems like a great option. Once thing I am experiencing in my 2022 XLT supercrew is that the rear speakers have very little volume at all in any panning mode. It feels like the sound is just coming at me from the front rather than being in it. Did you experience anything like this and did these speakers impact that? I cannot tell if this is a speaker issue or some sort of settings artifact.
I just experienced weal sound over all. And looking at the magnets... I now understand why. Nothing really beyond that. Truck sounds great now. I'd say better than the B&O.
Your links go to Component in the front and Coaxial in the rear. Did you mix?
No sir. Front come with tweeters in A pillars. Rears do not.
wont ship to me. united states it says on amazon This item cannot be shipped to your selected delivery location. Please choose a different delivery location.
Yeah, you just have to change it in the app. I had to do the same. I'm in Canada and got them through the app.
I would be real nice if you showed how you installed them
I'm real confused, what did I miss? Physically plugging on the speaker? Everything else was pretty much covered...
@BoltsNBoost You re & re the speakers but only show the door with the panel off, with the factory speaker in place, then you cut to the installed view with the panel back on. You left out the part of what is involved with the removal and replacement of the speakers and what issues you may have had, if any, during the process. In addition, you didn't show how you actually removed the door panels, just showed where the screws are. Personally, I like to visualize what I'm going to be up against when I do this job. That's why I look for these types of videos. Yours left me hanging. Have a nice day.
Can u post a link on the speakers

Do you think the rears would work for the front??
No they won't, at least in my application...because they are diff size.
Really good video man! Thanks! Did you go back and do the tweeters in the front? If so did they match up with the factory wire harness? I’m thinking about using these for my wife’s explorer and I want to get an idea of what I’m gonna have to deal with.
Thanks! Yes they were plug and play !
what about the front tweeters i never saw you install those and I cant find any other videos of a similar install
on the same truck.
I didn't end up doing the tweeters. I may do the whole swap into my Tremor. However there was a video on UA-cam where a guy did an ok video on it.
noticed you went with the coaxial in the rear but they make a component speaker as well (PowerBass OE65C-FD - 6.5" Ford OEM Replacement Component Speakers). Any reason you went coaxial instead of component? I see you went component on the front.
I wanted a 100% factory replacement. My system doesn't have Components in the rear, therefore wouldn't be a straight plug and play application.
@@BoltsNBoost what speaker setup did you have from the factory? Mine is the B&O Unleashed 18 speaker sound system.
@@eknick23 mine was not B&O.
with just upgrading the speakers with no amp, is the sound that much better?
The materials are laughable from factory. That alone is worth the upgrade. You should watch my other video and see how tiny the factory speaker magnet is...
will this improve the loudness (volume level) from the rear speakers? I have a 2022 Lariat Crew Cab with the B&O 8 Speaker system and if you sit in the back seat you can barely hear the rear speakers at all, even when you fade all the way to the rear. Looking for an inexpensive way to improve the rear speaker volume level.
I doubt it, honestly.
Im about to do this swap (Front & Back) on my 2021 F150 with the B&O 8 speaker set-up. Ill let you know how it turns out.
@@justinlincoln6322how did it turn out?
@Sean-oq3ox sounded worse and I sent them back. I was questioning the outcome already due to them only being an 88 sensitivity rating. They sounded more muffled and fuzzy than the stock speakers. I'm about to order some Hertz DSK 6 3/4" speakers to try next. I will again let you know how that turns out. If those fail to be better I will be ordering a super high sense loudspeaker from dayton audio to try. If that fails, they will be left stock. Lol
@@justinlincoln6322ooh, post your results
Did you ever install your tweeters ? Any difference ?
Not yet. But so far, major difference in sound otherwise. Just went on a 10hr road trip.... very glad I did it
You should make a video of what the speakers sound like.
There is a clip in this video. But it's hard to capture good audio and compare through a camera speaker unfortunately.
