Great video I have a 22 Iconic Slive Gen 3 I did the 3 amber light in the grill to be on with the daytime running lights, number read out under the gauges, double honk disable and added the HVAC with the digital readout buy swapping out my HVAC control head and flashing my as built into the new unit also added the ambient lighting cup holder and media area light and glove box light. Forescan is a great tool.
Thanks for uploading this, very helpful, about to program a new key for buddies Fusion he just bought, only has one key and that damn mykey crap was on so he's only been able to drive up to 80mph for the last xouple months and the music volume wont go up past a certain level. Hope it works and thanks so much for doing a very simple to understand look at Forscan, really helped mw understand how easy it is!!
I don’t know if anyone mentioned this already, but you don’t need forscan for a 2021 raptor to disable the double-honk with keys inside, you can disable that in settings.
The 2 lights facing away from each other are your park lights. The amber and red lights on the side of the vehicle, front and back respectively. They come on automatically when your headlights are on, and you will see them lit up on the info cluster
Thank you for the information and very nice video. could you make a video or tell me how you changed the settings you mentioned you did in your truck? Like blind spot audible shirp, rear fog lights, turn signal flashes, power plug on. What are they actually called or located please! Thank you!
at first global windows didn’t work for me but i just enabled every box for open/ close in the body control module and then separately went into the ddm and pdm and also enabled both open/ close on there and then it finally worked
yes, please do a video on the Blind spot warning, “chime”. And if you help with your G- windows, I have issues with them but I got working, now I try to figure out how to get the rear window to open and close.
I was mistaken on this statement. If you’re talking about the little bell, when a car is in your Blindspot, that was a different sound, and I thought it was a setting that I had turned on. Sorry about that.
Just bout a new 2023 f150 lariat with pretty much all the options, my question is what did you do to have the color app page on your screen. That's way cooler than mine and would love to have that. And the video was very educational thanks

@@bobbygflwith my 2017 Taurus I had to enable it in the dash, it has a windows menu. My car does that from the factory, but only down and vents the sunroof.
I’ve gone through the dash settings and could not find any options to turn on. Thanks for the help. At some point I’ll hook the forscan back up and poke around again.
@@bobbygfl Just off the top of my head if you go into the non asbuild section of the body control module, driver door module, and passenger door module there are all options for global open and close, turn those all on in each of those modules then afterwards with your vehicle turned off and from the outside of the vehicle double press the unlock button and hold it down on the second press until you start to see the windows move. You can either let it go down all the way or you can press unlock again to stop it going partially down. To close the windows do the same thing but with the lock button. So you press once and then press twice but on the second press you’d hold it until the windows start to move then you can let go of the button and the same applies if you only partially wanted to close them as well.
Yes for the Speedo. Not sure on the plugs. Probably yes because you can set the 110 to be on when the ignition is off. Before you ask, I don’t know where that setting is. I did see it though
Your video is great and very informative. I have a 2003 Lincoln Navigator and a 2011 Ford Taurus SEL. My interest is mostly for diagnostics, such as misfires, etc.. The Navigator is now 20 years old. With that in mind, will ForScan take care of diagnostics for both vehicles? Thanks for the feedback.
Check the connections at the battery terminal. I’ve seen other videos that show a plug right at the battery that you disconnect that turns off cylinder deactivation and auto start/stop. I don’t have either of those on my truck so I cannot confirm.

Hello. Does FORScan work on 2023 f150s I’m trying to make it so that all the exterior lights don’t go on while the truck is off and I open the doors . Kinda of annoying while camping. Thanks if anyone had a simple solution 2023 f150 Platinum.
Thanks just tried it. I had luck changing the silent (dark) mode to enabled and it worked lights don’t come one during opening doors or closing perfect for camping. Only side effect is no horn sound on locking the the truck.
I assume you've found out by now that the switch you thought was for rear fog lights is instead for parking lights. I don't see a rear fog light switch among your light controls. If there was one, it would be labeled with a right facing headlight symbol with "beams" shooting out of it to the right. Light patterns emitted by rear fog lights are very different from those emitted by brake lights. Rear fog lights emit focused beams of light. If your Raptor has the LED-Matrix headlights, another video currently on UA-cam video shows how to use Forscan to enable their adaptive function so that the high beams can be on most of the time at highway speeds while shielding occupants of oncoming and preceding vehicles from glare and discomfort. Instead of automatically dimming the entire high beams when the light system is in automatic mode (light switch labeled with "A"), this coding change causes segments of the LED matrix array to be dynamically turned off and on as other vehicles are tracked as they move and are shielded from glare. I have this feature enabled on a Porsche with LED-matrix headlights.
Call me old school but I cannot understand why anyone would want to modify or even take a chance messing with these systems as much as these newer trucks cost. Each their own I guess 🤷🏻♂️
I felt the same way but it’s like adding an app to your phone and completely reversible back to factory with one click. And the convenience of the personalized changes are really improve the enjoyment of the truck.

Just tried disabling the auto start/stop on my buddy’s 24 f150 and it doesn’t work. Bambi mode and a couple other changes did however
I read you’ll need to buy the devise that plugs in between the switch and the switch wire harness that tricks the truck into thinking is on.

It’s Apple CarPlay. Just connect your iPhone.
For global open, do your window switches click and auto up and down for Windows even when you get go? That's usually the requirement
They go all the way down or all the way up on one short click for that direction.
How did you turn on that warning alert at time 17:00 for the blindspot?

I know it’s a little late, but if you didn’t figure it out, the global open and close windows only works when the vehicle is turned off

I don’t believe forscan can do this and you’ll need to have your dealer flash the cpu. That’s my experience with other brands anyway. Good luck!

You have to click unlock 3 times and hold
