wow JB thats cool you got hooked up with these guys and can still ride there. Looks like you have to have a street legal bike with a tag. That YZ feels lighter cause the center of weight is alittle lower that you KTM and it might be a pound or 2 lighter too. I didnt look up the specs. Your KTM is already set up, this YZ has nothing. probably not a problem buying a bunch of new mods, since you have a lot of money. So that looked like a ranger in a truck hiding in the bushs at the end. Did anything happen? I got new suspension set up on my bike by Kyle from Moto4play, lowered 2 inchs and respring and race tech gold valving and set up for my weight (170-190) and riding style (poor). now it rides like a cadalliac. I still want a steering dampner and rekluse. already got a gripper seat cover that matchs my graphics. The rest of the bike needs nothing. Since I recovered from my knee injury after 4 months, my next crash was real slow and easy and broke and dislocated 2 ribs almost 5 weeks ago. went for test ride last weekend at my buddies cattle ranch, we have an area about 65 acres set up to ride. seems like everytime I ride either I wreck and get hurt or a I find a new bug in my bike lol. probably a good thing FTR is shutdown right now-- gives me time to heal and debugg the bike, so Im ready for when ever next race will be. glad your riding
The ranger never got out of his truck and we were waiting at that spot for over half an hour. The YZ is a 2015 that I found on facebook. My hope was that this model would translate quickly for FTR racing without the $11K pricetag of a KTM. I know that it is going to cost an additional $3K to outfit the YZ (Steering stabilizer ($500), Rekluse ($1000), wider pegs ($200), Suspension done by Moto4play ($600)), etc, etc. I could get the YZ set up with all the bells and whistles and still come under the new KTM pricetag. So my real dilemma is do I put that kind of money into the YZ or search for a 350?
Start point was across from the Baker correctional facility and Rte 90. I recommend linking with the FCAR group (on facebook). They are always scheduling rides and welcome everyone.
Very cool of those guys to show you around. I hate having to figure my way around a new place.
Its definitely nice to have a back up bike.
That is a cool app with the displays

Do all bikes have to be plated to ride here?
No not at all. You just have to purchase a pass - which is done on site.
@@TeamTheYoungandTheRestofUs there is no pass required for osceola forest.
Where is this at Osceola? I’m looking for a place to break in my new kx250
