Is he even editing his script or proof-viewing his videos? I'm not trying to be a dick but these videos seriously lack refinement and concise presentation of information. If you can't even read the song titles right I don't need your opinion on them. He obviously misreads a quote from a band member in this video saying "the king crimson" instead of "the crimson king." Little stuff like that is a real turn off in informative and analytical content like this.

I’ve liked this kind of music my whole life because I grew up with it. I see a lot of comments saying they came from Jojo and I’m so glad, I love the references in what little I’ve seen in that show.
another amazing fact about that album cover that stood it apart from other albums: nowhere on the cover is the band's name mentioned. Crimson was virtually unknown, they release their first album....and they didn't even put their name on the cover. (well, the front of the cover, at any rate) that shows how strong that album art was/is; that it would grab record store customers attention by the art alone.
UA-cam recommended another awesome vid! I'm 36, and I cut my teeth on KC starting back in 2001. They are SO much more important than they ever get credit for, and I'm glad to see them getting love from new generations. For anyone interested, In the Wake of Poseidon and Lizard(Prince Rupert Awakes) are other legendary works worth checking out from them. Cheers everyone!
Wait so Jojo part 5 anime came out when King Crimson reached its 50th Anniversary and also gave us Jojo fans to listen to its brilliant music since it wasn't available before 2019. That's one hell of a timing

And now I've watched this video too, even though I didn't know about King Crimson beforehand. Well I guess you've earned yourself a new subscriber. I really like the style of your video and also how you narrate them!
68...I think. Nice vid. Back when I was in high school (about 88), I was working at a shop and had access to transfer paper, inks and a heat press, so I VERY laboriously copied and colored transfer paper and made a janky t shirt with "schitzoid" )album cover) on it. I was probably more taken, by the rear of the dust jacket with the sage (also featured in Wake of Poseidon if I remember correctly) and that hand sign he is showing. I have tried to ascertain over the years what that sign represents, to no avail.
My favourite KC record. Greg's voice was incredibly moving. Especially on Epitaph. I am of course a massive ELP damn as well. RIP Greg (and Keith). P.S. If you ever wanna check the structural integrity of your house, put on the middle section of Epitaph and turn it up. That bassoon will test if anything is loose.

Bro, I just randomly stumbled upon this video after listening to Everywhere at the End of Time for like 2 hours, and you're background music and visuals are not doing me any favors when it comes to shaking this intractable dread hanging over me. So thanks for that.
By the way, sick video. Love this album. Definitely listened to it because of the album art the first time. Keep on doing this jam. It really works.
I just noticed you have a video on Everywhere at the End of Time, and I also just realized this is the channel my friend told me about. Wild.
I came after everywhere at the end of time, and I saw that there was a JoJo ref
Glad youtube recommended me this channel
your amazing work researching music like this deserves more love
You know, as many teenage JoJo fans there are, we should be thankful for that show because without them, they wouldn't know this music :) it's a good thing!
All music Documentarys and essays need to be like this `im your host John Lennon`
Jake explaining how King Crimson works while I'm here trying to figure out what the heck the background is doing
As a fan of King Crimson and everything prog rock, I can tell you that you are just scratching the surface of what the genre offers. You want trippy, awesome album covers and complex music? That's the genre to go to 🙂
Hey man I love your style ! Can't wait to see more videos of yours
Caretaker video brought me to the King. Thank you Mr. Snake Buckets
The opening alone literally killed me,I am subbing also loved your last video on the album would break you
I just watched your video on Everywhere at the End of Time (you sure haven't gotten that story before) because I knew the album and was curious, whether other people felt the same way about it as I did when I first encountered it (which you did). And now I've watched this video too, even though I didn't know about King Crimson beforehand. Well I guess you've earned yourself a new subscriber. I really like the style of your video and also how you narrate them!
Thank you chaschmerscholucasäge I appreciate that you like the content man
68...I think.
Ive seen then live last year, probably the best concert i ever had.
You are amazing, I just subscribed to you dude, keep on keepin on, you ROCK!!!
That is sad, but now it's popular.
Oh my gosh my father owned this album for years but I never knew about this until now
Damn...
That shits gotta be an original pressing
Bought it when it came out and still my favourite album.
I love king crimson. I have a vinyl of The Court of The Crimson King!
I never thought I needed a vinyl album so hard as if was oxygen for my lungs
i absolutely love this album cover
love your vids man, greetings from Bolivia
My favourite KC record. Greg's voice was incredibly moving. Especially on Epitaph. I am of course a massive ELP damn as well. RIP Greg (and Keith). P.S. If you ever wanna check the structural integrity of your house, put on the middle section of Epitaph and turn it up. That bassoon will test if anything is loose.
Fan. Not damn lol.
underrated chart: -200000
You should definitely check out the other albums as well if you haven't. They're genius, and have some of my favorite musicians such as Adrian Belew.
Your background is what you see when you rub your eyes for too long
