- This week we headed out to Austin, TX to have a look at the new 2015 Chrysler 300. This particular example is the 300S fitted with the 5.7L V8 Hemi with 363 HP and 394 LB-FT. The new 300 features redesigned front and rear fascias, a new interior, 8-speed transmission, electric power steering, and a variety of new safety and tech features.

Hemi sounds good. Also, it's amazing how a good transmission can almost change a car's character - the old 5 speed auto w/ the same hemi was slow in downshifts and had really wide spread gear ratios - this new 8 speed w/ the same engine gives this new 300S a pinch of sporty goodness :)
Man, those FCA interiors are just amazing. Fiat is the best thing to happen to Dodge/Chrysler in recent times

I use to make a lot of jokes about how heavy the 300 was but I'll be honest it did pretty well on those curvy and technical roads. I would complain that the car needs a manual but the 8 speed auto seems to be decently quick. Chrysler definitely did luxury, and performance part of this car well. The Hemi pulls!

last week I just bought this same exact car. so smooth as a daily driver and so quiet. liking it so far, sure don't drive mine like this though, again but mine doesn't have the V8 either. 1st Chrysler for me, hope it doesn't break!!
***** 2016 Chrysler 300S is a good car so far. Squeaky seats already though. Besides this its fun, smooth and looks great.

had an extended loaner of a 05 w Hemi miles were up but the chassis dint have the body lean in some turns that would break a bead of sweet ,it wasn't quite as quiet as the bros Ford Fusion but loads more fun. the voice command system takes a calibration set up and you are fine. it is in a tall order category as Chrysler once boasted the Chrysler Imperial LeBaron and New Yorker as Fleet Flagship Land yachts to compete w Cadillac and Lincoln lux. Had a Lincoln Mark IIIV SC and The 300 is a fine GT. its not a Camaro or mustang personal roadster . the newer models have stepped up even the 200 is solid and more fun to rent or as a loaner then the Dodge Dart and sure not a wet paper aeroplane These cars draw an extra look for the ladies in a better demographic and their daughters. and makes that corner office guy w a company leaser jealous so look out hedge fund 401. But for a college pick up hooptie ones got to give a neon green of yellow charger challenger a try.

I'd like to see how this car performs as driven by normal people. I don't drive on the hairy edge at every opportunity. I'm glad you survived, but this is not all that useful to me. Reference?

I would like to ask this question and im looking forward to get the answer, the question is : Is the driving experience different from the 300c? Is the suspension more tough or the experience is the same.
