I picked up a 2015 Chrysler 300S - V8 HEMI w/ Premium, Luxury & Light Group options in July 2015 and here is my semi-quick review....
I LOVE IT! This is my 1st Chrysler product and it's been a joy over the past 5,000 miles. Prior to this I had a 2010 and 2013 Infiniti G37X, and while the Infiniti brand has better prestige and awesome service/loaner cars, they were never as much fun as the 300S. The optional 5.7L HEMI has 363HP & 394 TQ and it is so addicting! :) Sure you can get a few more MPG's out of the V6, but you won't smile as much haha So far I'm averaging 17.2 MPG with a best of 21.6 MPG on the highway, and I'm more than fine with that on strictly 87/Regular gas.
Other features often unmentioned, but exclusive to the 300S W/ V8 are the Sport Suspension, SRT-style side sills, and SRT-style rear spoiler. It's a very unique and eye-catching ride, and being that the SRT model is MIA in the US for now, this is as good as it gets! Unfortunately, opting for the V8 means ONLY RWD for 2015-16 models whereas in 2014 your COULD get the V8 AWD. Missed the boat on that one, but the technology and gauge cluster is much improved and modernized in 2015 so you win some, you lose some. One PLUS of the RWD 300S is that you get the 20" sweet a$$ wheels! haha If you opt for the AWD version you get downsized to 19's.
MSRP on my car was $45K, but considering everything that those package groups added (Adaptive HID headlights, Heated Steering Wheel, Navigation, Power Sun Shade, Blind Spot and Cross Path Detection, Dual-Pane Panoramic Sunroof, ParkSense Front / Rear Park System, etc.) you would be hard pressed to find ANYTHING that can match the style, comfort and technology offered in the 300S.

NJturtlePower:::: I'm thinking of getting a 300S also with the Hemi i,I want to ask you if its ok to put 87 regular gas as you mentioned won't the engine knocks with that 87 gas instead of the high grade? Its one of the reason I'm staying away from the v8 hemi because is recommended to use premium gas,I rented a 2017 dodge charger r/t V8 hemi and the engine was knocking alot but i putting regular 87,remember not the kind of knocking when the puchrod or values are busted

I only add 89, to avoid detonation. That's actually the recommended grade.

Hard to tell which is the hotter model anymore considering that the Charger closed the gap between itself and the 300.

This is the best review of the 2016 Chrysler 300 S that I have seen on UA-cam. Based on this review I purchased a new 2016 300 S, but with the 5.7L Hemi and the 20 inch wheels. This is a great car! Powerful, smooth with a comfortable interior and ride. Thanks so much and keep up the good work.

Can't wait to get this car, saving up right now. As soon as I get it I'm throwing my 15" in the trunk and doing a mid pipe delete. Some cosmetic mods throughout the year and next income tax maybe a 274 comp cam and some AR headers 😌 to give a 392 a run for its money

I upgraded my 2018 300S to 363 hp. I also got the $95 (performance tire upgrade) package that includes a high speed engine controller, Goodyear F1 supercar tires and a Euro performance-tuned suspension to corner more tightly at higher speeds for quick, nimble handling. This suspension tune is above the normal S suspension. Not many people have heard of this upgrade. Chrysler had a special so I only paid just over $37k. Thanks for the video.
Oh yeah, Beats by Dre is only good if you like deep bass or don't care about quality sound. I can't get rid of the high tinny sound and the bass is outrageous. The mid frequencies are gone. I will be checking into different door speakers.

I dropped $800 on an iPad pro because it's a game changer for artwork on the go in that price range with the apple pencil. I will still always buy everything else android. Apple is great and streamlined, but they gave yet to pull me away from Android.

going from a 2016 dodge charger RT with the 5.7 V8 to this Chrysler 300s, I will have to say that this has a better sportier suspension, rides much more luxurious, looks better and is overall a much better car, despite it being a 300 HP V6

I love the 300S but the new body style is not my favorite. I bought a 2014, in 2015. It was the last 2014 left on the dealer lot at the time and I chose to go with it even when at the time the 2015's were already out. The new grill, backs lights and plastic bumper trim ruined the 300 look for me. I'll wait to see what Chrysler does with the 2018's

okay.. I have a serious question I got 2015 Chrysler 300C AWD premium package. rear shade that's about too go out on me ... my ride changes every time I leave shop it rides good only for a day then its back too bumpy ride..I got noise coming from rear that shop can't find, had new bushings, new shock ,put on and I still got noise.. and I only got 18,200 miles vinbmy car brought it brand new.. last year has anyone else had any issues..

    • @joelgarcia6307

+lot gendrala It will not let you shift out of park unless your foot is on the brake and it will not let you change gears if the vehicle speed is too high. I know this for a fact, because I own a 2015 300S.

I will NEVER buy a Chrysler - Dodge product again.going back to Subaru. this is what I get for experimenting with American cars. 👎
