When changing/storing sheets, put the entire set inside one of the pillow cases, that way you aren’t hunting for missing pieces when
    ready to make the bed.

Your Pillow will never feel the same way as before. It will lose its Soft Pliability and it will Plump up. Your pillow might remain cleaner for longer but the experience of sleeping on them will be 5x LESS.

In nursing 101 lab. We learned to grab the outside bottom of the pillow with your hand still holding that grab and invert the case up your arm (it will be inside out at this point). You then grab the bottom (tag side) with your grabby hand, reach up and pull the inverted case down over the pillow. Slick move and no laying anything down and picking it up again.

And the nursing rationale was, we didn’t want the clean pillowcase touching anything that could be dirty (like our chin) and didn’t want to aerosolize anything either when we would shake the pillowcase.

I karate chop the pillow in half lengthwise and grab the top corners together to make it pointy. The pointy end goes immediately to the bottom of the case. Release grip and the pillow expands into the case perfectly

You were taught by a maid to tuck in the pillow case, I tuck my in because I had a kind size pillow case and a standard size pillow. Hi Andrea! I love all your videos. They are really helpful. Especially this one. My pillows are quite big and heavy and this hack makes it a lot easier to put the cases on them. I also love the tucking hack, since I have overhang on my pillow cases and it looks bad and always causes them to slide around the pillows. But now, with this hack, they look nice and neat and don't slide around. I was wondering, do you have any tips for good ways to fold underwear? I never know what to do with mine. Thanks!

😆 we've been putting plillow cases on like this for years at hotels! However, we don't turn pillow cases inside out. We just hold the center of the outside, pulling back partway over our arm. Grab the center of the pillow and pull it down over the pillow!

I like your pillow tricks. Have been doing this with duvets. The one thing that I won't do is to touch the ends on a large pillow case and a smaller pillow. The reason is that I tuck my hands under the pillow when I sleep (on my back) and the extra fabric is annoying, especially with thick pillow cases. I have been known to cut the bottom edge of the pillow and use some fabric glue to shorten the pillow. Works for me...☺

I do that, but with a twist. I don’t turn the case inside out. I grab the bottom of the case on the outside, bunch it up (kind of like putting on a sock) then grab the tag end of the pillow and hang on while I pull the case down around it. This is the easiest way for me because I’m tiny and my arms are short.

Once the bed is dressed & fold over the top of the flat sheet your print or decorative side shows, you can use the steam iron hack if there are wrinkles. I started tucking my pillowcases in because I would by extra when I found a sale, but they weren't always the size I wanted, plus when you tuck your ends it your pillow stays plump & airy. I only found out not everyone did this after my divorce in 1992. Lol
