There entire bloodline is on demon time 24/7. 52 weeks 365 days a year. My mind literally shattering when I found out Edward was haythams dad making him Connors grandfather there whole family got that dog in them 🥶
It's why I like combining 3, Black Flag, and Rogue together. We had the Ezio Trilogy, these three games function as the Kenway Trilogy. We meet Haytham, we then play as his son, we then get to see where it all went wrong for them, we then get to play as their father/grandfather and see how they got started down that path. With the Ezio games we followed his life chronologically, with the Kenways we went back step by step to where the wound up and retrace how they got there.
just so you know, the Kenway and Auditore family blood is on Desmond's paternal side, that could explain why William Miles, Desmond's dad, is quite stoic, and cautious knowing his ancestor's history while Altair's family is on the maternal side. Imho, the Auditore and Kenway family has quite a tragic history.

The thing I love about the original game that none of the others (not even my beloved AC2/AC: Brotherhood) could match was that it felt like being an Assassin was his profession. All these other Assassins are just crazy hooded killers who spout poetic lines and dress in flashier and flashier outfits as the series goes on, but none of them capture the feeling of actually tracking down a target, figuring out their routine and the infiltration routes and weaknesses like the original did. Altair was a professional assassin, everyone who came after him are just highly skilled killers.
Idk I feel Unity did a very good job of making it feel like that. Like you aren't just running and gunning. You are looking for anyway to do your job. Preferably undetected. I think it really brought back that professionalism.
I agree mostly, not completely because I feel that Ezio did that too just not on the same scale that Altair did but still did it a lot. All those tailing missions and when he would scout a building to try and find the best way in and sometimes found help from other people to help him do it, for example when he asked help from Leonardo to let him use his flying machine. But I totally see what you mean with it not seeming as official and I agree that was a really amazing part of Altair it was his profession in a much more intentional way than Ezio and I really hope that’s what they plan on doing with Mirage
I absolutely loved Connor’s story, I loved the dynamic of Haytham realizing a lot of things. I loved how Haytham let Connor kill him. Connor’s story was just so fun and entertaining.
4:48 "Of course he didn't make it. But you're never gonna guess who did though." "Who?" "Leonardo da Vinci." "The painter?" As much as love this part, what many people don't know was that Leo was *much fucking more* than a painter. Guy was a painter, a sculptor, a physicist that exhumed corpses for research (partially so he could understand how human body works so he could paint it better but still), and a tech wizard. Guy developed weapons for multiple city states in Italy. Whatever you needed done in Italy, chances were, Leonardo either could do it or knew a guy who could.
As a fan of Assassins Creed, I respect what he did to the games and I dead ass laughed when he dissed Odyssey, Syndicate, and Origins, I’d like to see his reaction if Valhalla walked into the room😂

When he was 14 he was already fighting bears and he started training with Achillies and learned that the dude who burned his village was working for his dad. I feel like Shay & Arno's stories put things into perspective when it comes to the Assassins, the Templars, and their eternal war for the pieces of Eden and the ultimate fate of mankind Shay's story proved that the Assassin's are capable of making terrible and costly mistakes, like messing with the artifacts that caused not 1, not 2, but *3* earthquakes to collapse everything above the artifact's sanctuaries. Thank goodness that 3rd one was on a relatively unpopulated glacier and not another city like New York. Arno's story showed that some Assassins can take things too far, his own mentor poisoning the Grandmaster of the Assassin's French brotherhood for actually attempting to broker a truce with the Templars' own Grandmaster, seeing it as, in his own words, "treason". Meanwhile, there are some Templars that were actual genuinely good people like the aforementioned Grandmaster and his daughter Elise who Arno falls in love with. Honestly, with Rogue & Unity, it felt like Ubisoft was trying to go down a road that could have potentially lead to a middle ground where neither the Assassins or the Templars seemed like the best option for mankind's future, but also making both factions just that much more humanized rather than it just being "AsSaSsINs ThE gOoD GuYs, TeMpLaRs GrEeDy AnD eViL"
Exacty man, They showed Gray areas, not just blsck and white. Black flag was my first game when i was younger so of course I loved it, but Unity? I had never stayed on a game for more than 6 hours in my 11 y/o life at the time
I loved Unity it’s my favorite ac ever! Arno was the best assassin imo because his cannon was that he was never seen no one knew he existed and he killed every target silently once he became a grandmaster assassin. He was amazing and skilled in combat but he didn’t have to be because his stealth skills were perfection
well i mean they just turned the assassins in rogue into templars and then templars into assassins in a way. An in unity ig they do the troup of the assassins arent always right and they fuck up is true. Also another thing that makes no sense in unity is why the fuck do the assassins need permission to kill templars the fuck if their is a truce ezio and connor be lone ass assassins going out their orgs life long enemies up
@@TpRedNinja that sort of logic is what Arno's mentor Bellec had when he took matters into his own hands. Thinking about it, I'm actually starting to wonder what Ezio or Connor would think about an Assassin brotherhood trying to form a truce with Templars. Would they see it as treason too? Or would they try to help establish a very likely short lived peace treaty with a sect of the Templar order?
Altair, The Assassin of Knowledge Ezio, The Assassin of Power Connor, The Assassin of Wisdom Edward, The Assassin of Freedom Arno, The Assassin of Justice Jacob, The Assassin of the People Evie, The Assassin of Restraint Bayek and Aya, The Founders Kassandra, The Assassin of Sacrifice and Forgiveness Eivor, The Assassin of Loyalty
All the upgraded hidden blade features that Leonardo made for Ezio were based on the codex pages that Altair made after studying the apple of Eden for 40 years. The gun feature, double blades and the modifications that enable assassins to keep their finger, all from Altair.

Honestly Connor was my favorite he wasn’t only seeking revenge he was seeking to make a better life for his people by keeping the war out of their lives ultimately while he did get revenge he failed to help his people and lost his father and best friend who died thinking Connor was a traitor along the way. However in the end he gained a lot more than he lost. He gained a father figure in achilles, friends through the homestead quest line, and rebuilt the brotherhood in the colonies from the ashes left by what shay cormac burnt down and a much better brotherhood at that. He could fight with the grace of the assassin while utilizing most of the gurilla tactics that the modern military still uses today. People used to say “connors boring so he sucks” he’s introverted and can you blame him after everything he went through?
Altair also created the codex, the book that contained the blueprints for the improved hidden blade (so the creed no longer had to sacrifice their finger) the hidden gun & poison blade, as well as every assassination technique Ezio used throughout the years. There's also the fact that he also made the creed GLOBAL, as in there would be no Creed in India, China, Russia, e.t.c without him, at the very least I'd of taken them decades if not centuries since the order was not lookin right during Altair's time.
I look at Altair like how MMA people look at Bruce Lee or Sakuraba. He changed the game and laid the groundwork for all others that came after. But I still put folks like Ezio and Bayek over him
Every assassin mentioned is a GOAT, couldn’t imagine AC without them. On the side note, Altaïr actually made the schematics of the hidden gun and the modification of the hidden blade to prevent any finger chopping which you can see in the Altaïr story in Revelations
@EldianDevil Connor in my opinion is the reason assassin creed gameplay what it is now. I miss the days when I use to have entire blocks lined up with dead bodies by Connor. Connors gameplay was so beautiful to me. Not to mention his design is honestly the top 3 best with bayeks to me.
@Kawaii Onee-chan I hate the fact. That assassin creed origin took place in ancient Egypt and yet ancient Egypt were known to have some of the blackest people on the planet with afros. And yet bayek, looked nothing like that. But yeah he was blinded by rage. I wanna say that's probably because it was still in the earlier stages of the creed

Altair really came back to an order of assassins trained from birth, and just completely bodied everyone who tried fighting him, even though his ass was 82 years old🐐
2:08 does anyone else notice how when the guy getting interviewed starts talking about Ezio, he had his blanket over his shoulder like Ezio with his cape?
Altair in particular is OP. Parry anyone with his hidden blade during combat and it's instant death. Anyone. Final boss included. Ezio's two hidden blades are super cool, but don't instant kill. The other AC games make you feel deadly, brutal even, but not nearly as absolutely lethal.
Ezio's hidden blade parry is actually also instant kill. While playing Assassin's Creed Brotherhood and Revelations i've NEVER used the sword and dagger if i don't have to, the Hidden Blades is so OP it makes the game a cake walk.
@@MrKarateMain yeah that was one reason I dropped stealth when it wasnt required. fighting everybody at once is a lot more fun when you've beaten the game already.
@criplingpowr it was so much better that way, if I wanted to play assassin's creed like they do now I'd rather play GOW not using the hidden blades as you primary/only weapon is messed up, I don't think in any of my playthroughs I used a sword because assasins creed is cool because of the hidden blade
He forgot to bring up one of the hidden blade animations Edward James Kenway does when he slashes the neck then stabs the torso repeatedly before throwing them to the ground. Black Flag had the best finishers and story, I probably replayed the story 50 times.
Go with me on this; in terms of storyline, I gotta go w the bro, Bayek. He's like the only outlier in the RPG era of Assassin's Creed that was a real one. Went through Cesar's guards (especially when they were asleep, which I think was funny), inspired entire generations (including Altair and Ezio) to stay hidden, to never kill innocent people and never snitch on your homies & he was the one who fathered the whole brotherhood. I mean, in my eyes, Bayek walked, so that every nigga after him would run (or in this case, leap).
k. Alexios was a great character with a great story line and unlike bayek wasn't an assassin he was the progenitor of them so ofc he wasn't gonna be like altair or the rest cmon,
@@namelessvoid9725 bayek was the progenitor of the assassins with Aya, odyssey takes place way before the assassin's were ever created. Also Alexios isn't canon, Kassandra is
@@sakyon6621kinda off topic but it REALLY says something about Ubisoft the fact that they didn't just make Kassandara the straight up main character and assassin for Odyssey. Then Alexios could have been like Aya in Origins.
To be fair, Origins was pretty f***ing baller man. Sure it turned AC into an RPG, but it was actually a really good RPG. They kept things simple, not TOO over the top and Bayek didn’t really have superpowers, just abilities that still made kind of sense unlike Alexios or Eivor. Speaking of which, Bayek might be the best written Assassin out of everyone, including Ezio. A father that lost everything yet still a loving husband, a ruthless warrior with a heart of gold for children and a Medjay ready to kill Leaders to protect the people beneath. I would seriously give Origins a pass.
@@saketbakshi4235 Why not? The reason Ubisoft changed the formula was because the fandom kept complaining that the game was getting repetitive. Out of the last 3 if ANY of them were to not be called AC it’s Valhalla. Origins was a good assassins creed game with the current gameplay style.
@@saketbakshi4235 Syndicate is the reason why the switch to rpg was made. The fact is the games had gotten stale and if Ubisoft released another game with the classic AC style, fans would’ve hated that too. The RPG switch was necessary at the time but now that’s also becoming stale. They’re gonna have to do something very different in the next game
I’m just going to throw this out there that Connor did not join the Creed out of revenge. He joined because he wanted to protect his village. He didn’t realize till AFTER he met Achilles that the men who burned his village was Charles Lee and his Templar Goon Platoon. Connor still would’ve become an Assassin if Lee and friends weren’t Templars
Although I love this content, I feel that I have to correct some of the misconceptions I remember from this video. Leonardo was not the one to change the sacrifice for the hidden blade, it was Altair. When reading the codex pages, he reveals he found a way to ensure the finger remains, he saw at as an unnecessary way to show one's dedication. Furthermore, Leonardo did not create the hidden gun, that was also Altair, through the codex pages it is revealed once more that indeed Altair created it. It is important to remember also, Altair created the Gun, by using the apple of Eden, seeing into the future and learning, also using a very primitive version of a existing gun from his time, to fit underneath the hidden blade. Charles Lee did in fact not, burn Connors village, Connor believed it was him his entire life, for obvious reasons. The truth is however revealed when Haytham and Connor Confront George Washington at Valley Forge, where Washington admits to have burned Connors village in the past.
I feel like he needs to make a video game therapy on the assassin’s creed games alone, because after assassin’s creed three, the enemies be getting done dirty by the future protagonist

Altair was the closest thing to historical assassins in the franchise (though we'll see how Mirage will do) They really did their research for that game to match the atmosphere and the vibe of the Nizar state and Hassan-i Sabbah's assassins - which is more of a theory where word "assassin" came from, rather than from the myth about hash it's from Hassan's name aka hassasini. Anyway, they made tiny Nizar the most feared place out there If they marked someone for death - they died - often publicly even under guard - if the first assassin failed, another was waiting right around the corner to take another shot, if this one failed there was another You just didn't fk with Hassan just like you don't fk with Altair or Al-Mualim before him
I wonder if there will be an AC version of "Gods after Kratos killed them" but with either Templars or Assassins. Like imagine Altair talking to Bayek after he finds out why ring finger loss was a tradition
Straight up Kenway family is the deadliest family in the whole series They coming for you then you might as well be dead cuz they be killing you in the most disrespectful way possible ☠️🏴☠️☠️
In terms of the series, I believe the Assassin Creed 2 trilogy to be the best imo, not only do you live the life of Ezio from beginning to end, but it got TWO short movies to go along with the games to complete his whole arc. Ezio have and always shall be my favorite goat assassin for all times.
Upon further examination and reflection; I have come to the realization that the true reason I like Ezio and play his games the most is because of the mad drip.
I'm glad people are finally putting respect on Connors name. Dude was HIM for real. Man was a straight menace. Absolutely brutal and a beast, and he was like 18 when you first get the assassins robe. And let's not forget, he's the only assassin who looks good in Altaïr's robes except Altaïr himself.

You did the ac1 side missions right xD
Idk I feel Unity did a very good job of making it feel like that. Like you aren't just running and gunning. You are looking for anyway to do your job. Preferably undetected. I think it really brought back that professionalism.
@@darrienjones8917 if only we had Shay Patrick Cormac in Unity.... and there were no glitches on release
it was kinda the same in unity but arno diss the brotherhood

"Of course he didn't make it. But you're never gonna guess who did though."
"Who?"
"Leonardo da Vinci."
"The painter?"
As much as love this part, what many people don't know was that Leo was *much fucking more* than a painter.

I feel like Shay & Arno's stories put things into perspective when it comes to the Assassins, the Templars, and their eternal war for the pieces of Eden and the ultimate fate of mankind
Shay's story proved that the Assassin's are capable of making terrible and costly mistakes, like messing with the artifacts that caused not 1, not 2, but *3* earthquakes to collapse everything above the artifact's sanctuaries.
That what we are talking about, that why I love Rogue and Unity even its not playing with a real Assassin like 2, 3 and 1
Exacty man, They showed Gray areas, not just blsck and white.

Connor infiltrated forts and battlefields which are arguably harder than castles/palaces. And yeah obviously no one heard of Arno because he was one Assassin out of hundreds. Connor was the only active Assassin in the Colonies before he got recruits so it makes sense why the Templars knew about him
Honestly Connor was my favorite he wasn’t only seeking revenge he was seeking to make a better life for his people by keeping the war out of their lives ultimately while he did get revenge he failed to help his people and lost his father and best friend who died thinking Connor was a traitor along the way.

Every assassin mentioned is a GOAT, couldn’t imagine AC without them. On the side note, Altaïr actually made the schematics of the hidden gun and the modification of the hidden blade to prevent any finger chopping which you can see in the Altaïr story in Revelations

It made the combat boring and like all it was was a 1 button game
