- Comfortably Numb" is a song by the English rock band Pink Floyd, released on their eleventh studio album, The Wall (1979). It was released as a single in 1980, with "Hey You" as the B-side.
The music was composed by the guitarist, David Gilmour, while the lyrics were written by the bassist, Roger Waters, who based them on his experience of being injected with tranquilisers before a performance in 1977. Waters and Gilmour argued during the recording, with Waters preferring an orchestral arrangement and Gilmour preferring a more stripped-down arrangement. They compromised by combining both versions. Gilmour said the song was the last time he and Waters were able to work together constructively.

Thanks Earl, the interesting thing is that years ago I would have never dreamed of playing a Pink Floyd song, 🎵 thinking that they would be too complicated for my skill set. Ends up they are usually relatively simple songs to drum 🥁 now that I’ve tried some of them.

It ended up taking 6 hours from start to finish. A lot of time spent editing and creating the special effects, I need to get creative and somehow try to make the videos not all look the same. It’s doing rather well in the views department 👍

It’s ’s actually one of Pink Floyd’s best songs, in fact so far it’s gotten around 216 view already, I’m usually lucky to get 50 views on my videos.
It’s one of my favorite songs of all time from any band, it has David Gilmour singing and actually having TWO LEAD GUITAR 🎸 SOLOS in one song. Go back and listen to the guitar solos they are amazing 🎵.
This might be one of the better videos that I’ve done ✅ I spent at least 6 hours from start to finish, the editing and special effects took up the majority of the time. The creative process on choosing what special effects that I will use and blending them takes hours. I actually had more effects that I used but then decided to cut back on them, sometimes less is more.
I’m glad it worked out and I have no regrets on spending the time put into this video, and people are watching it ✌️

As far as views goes, I don’t think the low number of views has anything to do with the quality of your drumming. I am guessing people just haven’t discovered you yet. Please don’t get discouraged. This is what you love to do, or else, you wouldn’t be doing it.❤️🙏❤️🙏❤️
@@gregwonhoff7161 , Good morning my friend 😀 it’s taken me a little while but I no longer dwell on views anymore, but it is gratifying if I can get over 50 views . Now with my fancy videos it’s taking me roughly 3 hours plus to make a drum cover, sometimes longer.
I’m happy with watching my own progress in video production and drumming skills, after I’m just a basement drummer 🥁 trying to have fun and keep myself occupied. It’s good exercise for my brain 🧠 at this age. I’ve slowed down my amount of videos and spending time with other hobbies such as photography.
I appreciate all of the other drummers in our drum 🥁 community and the feedback that they provide. It’s nice having new utube friends of different ages from all over the world.
I try my best to put out a good product and considering I had 200 subscribers at the beginning of last year, I’m less then 40 subscribers away from 1000. I feel that’s quite an accomplishment 😀😀😀
